SOOOOOOOOOGOOOOOOOOOD!!! My husband and I love their food, we eat here all the time. The owner and his son are super nice. Their TACOSALPASTOR are the best! They have other delicious food, but if you are looking to eat some bomb-delicious tacos al pastor this is the place. I recommend having them with their delicious green sauce, onions and cilantro. OMG!!! TODIEFOR!!! I also love thir chips with that green sauce. BUTWAITTHERESMORE! I didn’t mention their SHRIMPCOCKTAIL. They don’t just give you 5 little shrimps, NO! Fresh, good portion, and with this heat OHBABY… Hits the spot!!! I LOVELOVELOVETACOSGARCIA!

Came here for the first time. Its like a little hole in the wall, but that’s why it’s good. It may be off putting to some, but it didn’t bother me at all. It tastes like and it is REAL food. It’s not fast food. It doesn’t make you feel greasy and blah. It’s home cooking. You don’t feel gross(just super full) after eating it. The corn tortillas are homemade. They come out super hot, fresh and delicious. You get a really good salsa with your chips. The meat was really good. It wasn’t tough and I didn’t need to put tons of salsa or anything on it like I usually feel I have to at other places. Everything was well seasoned and cooked. We got tons of food for about $ 20. They have a soda machine and then glass bottled sodas as well. They’re very generous and kind. Which is nice to experience that friendliness when you go out to eat. Will definitely be going back! May even use them for catering one day. Really enjoyed the whole experience and food.

This place is legit. They treat me like I’m at my nanas house and the food is just like nana and grandpa used to make. I love it. Very authentic place. I eat here quite a bit.

I grew up on Mexican food and there are VERY few places that I would say have that authentic«from my abuelitas kitchen» taste… This place absolutely does!!! I discovered this place by just passing by and its such a hole in the wall spot that I didn’t think much of it, but this place is legit. Great food very flavorful reminds me of home I’m officially a regular there now. The only thing I could find fault in is the salsa its good but I think its a little generic, but not bad enough to take away any stars. Happy eating

Their tacos are as close to authentic street tacos that I have had out side of Mexico. On Fridays they specialize in tacos al pastor… awesome. Saturday and Sunday they do grilled chicken. Again… outstanding. Tacos Garcia is always willing to customize your order.

Tacos Garcia is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Orange County. Their tacos are as close to authentic street tacos that I have had out side of Mexico. On Fridays they specialize in tacos al pastor… awesome. Saturday and Sunday they do grilled chicken. Again… outstanding. Tacos Garcia is always willing to customize your order. All this and an incredible value… BTW…they do breakfast too!

The restaurant is small but authentic. Staff is very polite and friendly. I have been there a couple of times and I recommend the shrimp burrito and the tortas. The food is good and not too expensive compared to other places I have been to. One of the workers(the manager I think) was really nice and helpful, he was always asking if we need anything. I asked for an orange water, another worker said they were out and I told him an horchata was OK. .he gave me the water and went back straight to the kitchen. Just before I left he came out and said«the orange water is ready, here it’s on us ». That’s giving a good service and caring about the costumers.

I found this cozy little restaurant very authentic and welcoming with their traditional decorations. I ordered the fried talapia which was quickly served with beans and rice with several tortillas. Its typically a hit and miss with talapia because the size of the fish can be pretty big to medium sized. I found the price of this establishment to be reasonable as well. My friend had ordered the cuban torta which came out fairly quickly and loaded with meat. It looked delicious. The chips and salsa weren’t that bad either, they were free, so I couldn’t complain. I would definitely stop by this little hole in the wall again to grab a quick bite at this authentic mexican restaurant.

There tacos are very good and great price. There beans taste like homemade. Also I love that they don’t use tons of salt like some place. Some places beans and rice have tons of salt. Not this place. There salsa is so good and there steak in there tacos is fresh. Hasn’t been sitting in a warmer.

My Torta Cubana looked innocent enough, but the first few bites seemed off. I thought it was from the weird clearish salsa, but not sure. I was starved and ate it all. Hope it wasn’t spoiled. I let you know if I get sick. They threw in a few chips n salsa. Total was 7.12. The sandwich was minimal on the meat. I think I’ll stick with Albertos.

Went to this place on Taco Tuesday. They have .89 cent tacos. I got 2 Carnitas, 1 chicken, and 1 Al Pastor. The Al Pastor was good but the other two were just okay. The chicken one was VERY spicy and had a smokey taste to it. The carnitas was a little dry, but was okay. The tacos are on the small side.

*updated review* Came back on tuesday 01−21−14, hoping to catch their 89 cent taco deal, it has been changed to 99 cents. That didn’t bother me as much. But last time I was here I was given complimentary salsa with chips with dine in, unfortunately he never came out with the tortilla chips… Looks like one guy works the whole time at night. I got pastor, chorizo, and chicken. My favorite out of the three was probably chorizo, the pastor was too overcooked and not as much flavor, the chicken was okay. After eating taqueria mexico in Westminster, comparing to tacos garcia there’s no match. Tacos garcia’s taco is average and lacks flavor. If you guys are ever in the Westminster area, taqueria Mexico is open 24hrs, best tacos I’ve ever had. P. S. there’s a small sign at each table 30% off order with student ID on Tuesdays only, wish I saw it before I paid :(

This place has become an almost weekly if not bimonthly hangout for me. The chilaquiles are one of my favorite Saturday morning breakfasts. They are the right amount of spicy and with the runny egg rice and beans it is the best! Also love the wet burrito and the tortas! They alway have a giant jug of jamaica and horchata ready to be ladled out. On the weekends they have the grills going out front. It is a small place to eat in bit worth it or to take it home.

Great tacos and great prices! Their beans and rice were a little bland but it may have just been a bad batch. If you’re looking for a hole in the wall gem with great authentic flavors, then I highly suggest stopping here!

What a great find for a hole in the wall. This is one of those places you question whether you are at a good spot, until you walk in the door. I went here with a co-worker and as soon as we crossed the threshold of no turning back, aka entering the establishment, well several things dawned on me; 1 this is a total blue collar joint, 2 they had a lot of latinos here and only one non latino, 3 this place just felt like a taco shop, you can feel it in your bones sometimes(know what I mean?) So my buddy gets the taco special(rice n beans +3 tacos for $ 4.99) and I got 3 tacos for $ 4.25(included tax his did not). So we go grab a seat and they bring us a small basket of tortilla chips and salsa. Tasty chips and the salsa is fresh. Pro Tip: They have a jukebox playing decent tunes. Tacos Garcia advertises themselves as a great place for Al Pastor, infact they even call themselves the BEST! They have a reasonable argument to. The Al Pastor was very very good. If it wasn’t for the Al Pastor being excellent, it would be a 3 – 4 star kinda place. The Asada was reasonable, the chorizo was fair, and my coworker really enjoyed his carnitas. However I think the star of the show had to be by far the Al Pastor. Pro Tip #2: They will cater freshly made Al Pastor! This place has a great environment and definitely has a strong lunch crowd come in here. I highly suggest the next time you are on the hunt for some good Al Pastor, that you come try this place out! PS Pro Tip: They have a student w/ID discount!
