This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Most authentic tasting tacos I have had in the US, closest to Mexico’s amazing taste. And the fact that it’s open 24 hour is absolutely incredible and convenient! Pricing is cheap and the establishment is always clean!

I hate giving«meh» reviews, but after grabbing a late night carnitas burrito with my BF I don’t feel this place lived up to its 4 star rating. I got a carnitas burrito with all the goodies(rice, beans, onions, cilantro and green sauce) but it was really bland. No kick, not a whole lot of flavor… I ate about 1⁄3 of the burrito and threw the rest away. I tried my BF’s carne asada burrito and it was also very bland. I would put up with the dirty dining room and less than friendly service for delicious food, but the food was not good enough to bring me back. Also, the location is the slummiest part of Anaheim.

Im 22 years old and I’ve been coming to this place since I was 7. this place has had the best tacos since then. If your looking for real authentic not fake Mexican american tacos then heres your go to spot. All these other comments giving them one star because of how the location looks LOL to you they’ve made this place bigger then how it was and the customer service has improved. I’m 99.9% sure half of these workers or even owner will ever look at the reviews because they’re not about show but more as in just selling tacos as they have been since they have opened this place up. They’re stingy with their salsas so just be sure to ask them for more even if they do charge. But still best tacos I’ve had. If your looking for something fancier and neater please don’t come here and just stick to some fake american tacos ;)

When I’m craving tacos I always go here. Delicious green salsa and tacos de pollo and asada. Don’t have the best customer service but I love the taco flavor:)

Ok this is one of my favorite spots when I’m home, it’s located in the city of orange and the tacos are always hot spicy and delicious. Check em out when your ever down southern California only blocks away from the Ducks and a couple miles from Disney. They make the best tacos and salsa.

Just recently started coming here like 3 weeks ago and I am so happy I found it! Simple but sooo good. I always order the Asada tacos, normally 10 just for me! Not only is it good but this place is open 24 hours, you can see them cook your food and the red and green sauce? Amazing! :) the guys are very friendly also. Check them out I love it and so does my fam.

This is my first time at taqueria Mexico and I must say that they have one of the best tacos ever. The area is pretty sketchy and you may feel like you might get mugged but it’s ok the tacos are totally worth it. The workers are super nice too! It’s a laid back place to dine in at and I would recommend anyone who hasn’t tried it to come by and check it out.

As a taco addict, I don’t believe you will find better street tacos anywhere in Orange County, pretty much stuck with this or driving across the border, that being said this is my number 1 taco spot, always quick and easy too!

It was a Sunday night around 8, when I started to crave some authentic tacos, something quick and easy. When my best friend and I need a taco fix, we always come here. I always get the Carne Asada tacos with everything on it. Cilantro, onions and of course the red salsa! It’s Amazing! Don’t forget the Jamaica! All for under 10 bucks. Be warn this place can get a bit crowded, but it’s worth it!

Dude, this place is for real… for real for real. If there is any part of Anaheim that could be categorized as kinda sketch, the location for Taqueria Mexico is where it would be it. But Anaheim sketch, not like super crazy down sketch. And yes, there is a difference. Anyways, the night we went, there were only two dudes working behind the counter. But I’m telling you if you could have seen them in action, that’s all that was really needed: one was behind the register and occasionally helping out with the cooking and then there was jefe who was cranking out the food. The gamut of folks waiting in line varied from college kids to those who looked less than amicable, but ultimately, you knew they all knew the food here is hella bomb. The no nonsense tacos with onions, cilantro, and red or green hot sauce are absolutely the way to go. I was especially digging the way they were made. Instead of doling out the meat with spoon, they use the taco shell of each order like tongs to scoop out the meat which ultimately maximize the amount of filling each shell can hold. It’s genius. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla for my little one and jefe looked at me like, what? no meat? what’s wrong with you? Chicken burrito was also pretty tasty and considering what happened when ordering the cheese quesadilla, I’m glad I didn’t order a veggie one. Overall, Taqueria Mexico definitely knows how to satisfy late night munchies. Location is a little ways from Disneyland but well worth the drive.

We ordered a buche taco, al pastor taco, lengua burrito, and asada burrito. The guy got the order wrong and made us an asada taco instead of an al pastor taco. The tacos were just alright. Small. Buche is boiled, so it lacks that nice crispiness. The asada burrito was decent. The guy also forgot to put sauce in lengua burrito. So dry… I wished they had a salsa bar. This place is connected to a donut shop. The donuts did not look appetizing… I would come back, only if I’m starving after 1AM(In-and-Out closing time).

I have gone to various Mexican restaurants to eat tacos, burritos, and have a meal with a drink such as horchata or tamarindo. This is my favorite place to come to when it’s just for asada tacos, but that’s just me! Let me start off by saying that the tacos cost $ 1.15. They are your regular double small tortilla tacos with your meat choice and choice of green sauce or red sauce, and cilantro ans onion if you want to add any of them. The burritos are a little more than $ 5 but they use a big flour tortilla and load it with lots of meat and rice and beans if you want. Overall, I can’t complain. The place looks somewhat clean, has a restroom for customers and there is also a donut place right next to it. The reason I give it four out of five stars is because the cashier and taco guy who I got my order with appeared to be in a bit of a bad mood. I know you guys work night shift and iy sucks, that is why I am only taking away one star instead of two. However, some of us are LOYAL customers. I grew up on Glasselle street so I have never seen you guys, nor have never had somewhat of an attitude from the other co workers. I can’t be unfaie and take away more stars because like I said, this is a first! Do change you attitude and I bet more people won’t feel like I did. If it happens again, I am taking away another star ans never returning. Try out the asada tacos and let me know in other reviews if you have tried better asada tacos anywhere else. Thank you!

Came to this location twice. The only good meat is the lengua. First time the guy making the tacos messed up the order. He never looks happy. Super unfriendly. Probably hates his job. Came a second time and he was there again. Super rude. Maybe it’s cause we’re not Mexican. I don’t know. Heard him tell the cashier that we were fucking annoying. One of my friends knows Spanish and he probably didn’t know it. All we did was order tacos and a burrito. I don’t know what his problem is. Won’t ever come back again. Looked in the pictures and turns out other people had issues with the guy too. His name is Jaime. Lol.

I have visited this location 3 times. I usually will give a location a second chance if it wasn’t the best. Just to make sure it’s a fair chance. This location is very dirty. It wasn’t busy and you can tell it was a slow time so someone could have cleared the 2 tables. the bathroom was bad enough I decided to go at a gas station across the street. Both the salsa and the carrots bowls were empty. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this taco place again.

Always on the look out for great street tacos, Taqueria Mexico did not disappoint. The carne asada and al pastor are really good and the carnitas is awesome. The fresh radishes as well as the pickled carrots and onions add a nice contrast and crunch to the tacos. Love that the beans are whole and that the rice featured them although it was a little dry. Wish they had chips and salsa though but overall basic, fresh and delish!

Finally some legit tacos! Everyone for some reason thinks Taqueria De Anda is the place to be when really the authentic flavorful tacos are sold here, at Taqueria Mexico! Don’t be fooled by how small these tacos are. The quality of meat and fresh ingredients make up for it! Whether you order a Carnitas or Carne Asada taco, you’re guaranteed a truly well crafted taco with no fatty pieces! My biggest problem with most Taqueria’s would be the meat. Instead of being hot and juicy like the meat here, they lack flavor and moisture. My only objective to this place is that the inside, especially the tables are always dirty. If you’re wanting to enjoy those bomb tacos inside, just make sure to grab extra napkins to wipe down your own table. I’m so glad Caleb P. introduced me to this spot. Until I find the next best taco near my house, I’m sticking to Taqueria Mexico!

When in need of tacos or burritos this is the spot for me. Been coming here for like ever!!! I usually get the asada burrito with everything, including cheese!!! Plus 4 tacos, either buche, alpastor or chicken. The chorizo here is a bit salty for my taste. The horchata and jamaica actually taste how there suppose to. This place is open 24hrs 365 days. Never seen it closed. This is the spot every one hits up after leaving the club, etc. but just an FYI it does get packed on weekends after 1030p.

Came here for lunch after my meeting. The staff was friendly and there was a small line. The food was good and I would return. I knocked a star off as something just wasn’t right, dunno. Can’t put my finger on why but it lacked something

Authentic burritos and street tacos at reasonable prices. My friend and I both got the carne asada burrito with cilantro and salsa verde and it was good. Came with lime wedges plus radish slices and pickled carrots and peppers. Would come again to try the tacos! Wish they had avocado and goat tacos but overall a good deal! Will come again :)
