The Clam Digger

I was there a couple of months ago. I wanted to try the lobster roll but given that the restaurant was not crowded I skipped it thinking it would not be very good.
I tried the fried clams. Good if you compare them to most restaurants, but slightly subpar if I was to compare them to seasonal clam shacks you find on the shoreline and in Rhode Island.

The Q burger is fucking delicious, if that’s too much for you get any burger they’re really good didn’t get passed the burgers yet because I really love cheeseburger but the fish looks good too

They make some serious dogs here, that’s for sure. The bun is grilled which was a great start, I I think taking the time to grill a bun to enhance the hot dog shows that they care about what they’re doing. The dog itself had some good snap to it and tasted great. I got a chili cheese dog and the chili, which can easily go wrong at some places, was spot on. I’ll be coming back for a coney dog next since I know I can trust the chili now.
The fries were ok, I got regular fries and they had cooled down by the time I got to them (to be fair, I got take out). I’ll be dipping into the curly fries next time though as that isn’t offered at most places so it’s nice to see on the menu.
Not my last trip here, that’s for sure. Great place, check it out!
