Probably the most disappointing Togos I’ve tried. I love Togos sandwiches. I’ve been going to Togos restaurants for years now. This one really did not satisfy. There was no music. That’s not too big of a deal; it was just really awkward to eat in silence. We waited for about 10 – 15 minutes to be helped by the one employee behind the counter. She seemed completely uninterested in being there. She looked dirty, like the shirt she had on is the same shirt she’s worked in all week. I would say borderline rude. Made my sandwich pretty bad. I asked for a little extra dressing on it and she drenched it in sauce. Threw everything together and slid it over to me. It was the most poorly constructed sandwich I’ve ever had.

Went in here and there was a cockroach crawling around. Kids were messing with it and the staff definitely saw it and did nothing about it — just kept going about their business like nothing was wrong. I even stood there taking pictures of the bug crawling around near the food and no one said or did anything. This was in the sunlight! Where there is one in the sun, there are thousands in the dark!!!

I eat here all the time and I have to say, this location has terrible customer service. They don’t keep regular hours so sometimes you get there at 7:45 at night and they are closed. Also, the main guy who is always there has terrible customer service skills. He refused to give me sourdough bread on my mini even when the menu shows no requirement. I even offered to pay extra. He said no. Then when I asked for BBQ chipotle mayo instead of regular he charged me .35 extra. This is the last time I will go to that location. I mean… come on… they are sandwiches. And aren’t they made there so you can customize them? Apparently not.

I used to like to go to this Togo’s once or sometimes twice a week, but I’m not really interested to go back. The staff have started speaking Spanish, like A LOT. With each other, with the customers if they think they can get away with it. They said something to the woman in front of me, and she had to say ‘sorry but I don’t speak Spanish.’ You could see she was uncomfortable. I don’t get it. This isn’t Mexico; here we speak English. Is that so hard? Maybe Togo’s is going for the immigrant market, and don’t mind losing their other customers. Lost me.

Insufferable customer service. Just waited 40 minutes in line for two take out sandwiches. Two employees handling Baskin Robbins and Togos at lunchtime? Not smart franchisee!

I had never been to TOGO’s before and I was excited to try it for the first time. The store was dead, there was no one there. My boyfriend and I were being helped by a man named Chuy. He rushed with my bf’s order and wrapped his sandwich before he was even done letting him know what else he wanted in his sandwich. He then rushed to give us the total before I could order anything. My boyfriend told him that I hadn’t ordered yet and he rolled his eyes and went to put on his gloves. I have never seen such poor and awful customer service ever! I was so upset, I decided not to even bother ordering. I will never go here again.

I was at America’s tires getting my tires rotated and checked, and decided to pop in here for lunch while they were working on my car. I walked in and some gruff looking asian man behind the counter looked and grunted something at me. Say what? He said something in(I think) vietnamese, and come to find out he was yelling for his workers to come out and help me. Togo’s isn’t my favorite sandwich place, mostly because its a high carb lunch. Their breads aren’t the best, and they don’t really load up on the meats… I guess that’s why I don’t care for Subway either, but that’s another story. So I opted for the turkey and avocado mini classic sandwich, because it would be less calories than getting the 6 inch. Its a decent sandwich, and I added the combo(soda and chips) which came out to $ 6.01. Unfortunately I didn’t have a penny, so I got back 99 cents in change. If I had changed my mini to a 6 inch, I could have checked in on Unilocal and got the soda for free, but they sell Pepsi, and I am not a fan of Pepsi, so a mini combo suited me just fine. There’s a few tables inside, and they serve the«eat in» people with plates instead of using waxed paper. There’s a Baskin Robbins inside the store, and at lunch it can get crowded, but most of the people take their food to go. There’s a sign that said«Free Wi Fi» but when I turned my phone on, I couldn’t locate it. Either the sign is wrong, or my phone just couldn’t locate the signal. I’m giving it 3 stars for being just ok. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t super either.

I’m never let down with this location as far as the food goes, service isn’t the best. But I’ll give it 4 stars because I still keep going back.

I remember Togos used to be good, this one on Chapman has the rudest employees, I was the only one in there, and was ignored when I came in, so I made a point to say HI to the guy? working there. He made my sandwich, i asked him if it has cheese on it, and he ignored me, so I asked again, he ignored me, so I asked again, he still ignored me, then I notice he was making my sandwich with chipped red nail polish on! Gross, I will never go to that Togos again, you might as well close down because your not going to get any repeat customers I guarantee it!

It only has like 2 employees for both departments. I came here a couple of times and it was ok until one day they over charged me. I was charged 100 $ from my bank account. This made me very upset and so i never went back. I did recieve my money back but i will never trust them again and i will never come back.

Either extremely rude or extremely clueless employees. My friend and I were the only people in the restaurant and standing in line to be served for a few minutes. When someone came out to help my friend order, a line started to form on the other side of her. When she was done ordering they asked me if I was next or the other man who was standing on the other side. I told her I was next. I came in with my friend. She gave me blank stare and started serving the rest of the line. So I moved to the back of the line and waited to be served. Also I might add they missed a few ingredients in my veggie wrap.

I will never go to this Togo’s again. Only one sandwich maker at lunchtime. And, he was not very friendly. Place was just so-so inside. Many other Togo’s nearby that are much better. A simple sandwich will take forever and the attitude that comes with it isn’t worth it. Don’t waste your time!!! Go where they value customers and appreciate business. In todays economy, customer service is the key to success!!!

I think the guy who made my sandwich might have been hard of hearing, which is fine, just maybe not for a loud sandwich shop. I said 9″, he cut a 6″. I said no combo, he made it a combo. Mind you, after I would correct him I’d actually get a rolling of the eyes, like we were back in junior high. I worked at Togos back in 90s and the manager would never have allowed any rude behavior or we’d be fired faster than you could slather mayo on a sandwich. I’ll never be back.

Terrible — attached Baskin Robbins 2 employees @ Togos 20 minutes later someone finally acknowledged the 3 people waiting for ice cream to say well be with you in a minute! Left without purchasing anything!

Maybe it was the time of day, or the time of year but after seeing all negatives and having a good meal I figured I’d chime in… While I did visit«After Launch» there was still a regular stream of customers coming in, still the staff did a solid job of helping each of us, asking options, even plating sandwiches to look good. The biggest issue I have with Togo setups like this is the ice cream side [there’s a baskin & robbin’s too] which means the staff gets split up doing double duty. As far as the food, well, it’s a standard Togos which isn’t your local deli but it’s not subway either. I’d go back.

This is the rudest place I have ever been. The employees are rude and racist. They stereotype people just because they are bald and tattooed. I was at lunch with my fiancé and he was trying to figure out what he wanted. He was a little slow in figuring out his order. We were together, but they wouldn’t take his order because they said, «he was lucky that they even serve his kind.» WTF!!! He was also called a white supremacist, which he is not. He’s tall, yes, bald, yes, he has tattoos(Japanese inspired) and he’s marrying a ½ Mexican woman, me. I couldn’t not believe this establishment and how ignorant all of the employees were. Yes I am angry, but really, it’s 2011 and it’s just sad that we live in a world with some very ignorant uneducated people.

This location has very few employees, the location closer to my work has about 6 sandwich makers. There were only 2 that I could see here. I do like that they have Mini-Classics for $ 3, I never eat a whole 6″ sandwich. Turkey Avocado on Wheat for me — very fresh and yummy. I would be hesitant to come during the lunch rush, since there weren’t that many workers.

The service at this location is terrible!!! I always get really uncomfortable when I’m at this one, and everyone behind the counter is rude and doesn’t really speak very good English, which makes their questions impossible to understand when they’re making my sandwich. I’m going to find another local Togo’s to eat at because this one is terrible.

I enjoy Togo’s for the most part. I think they’re sandwhiches are better than Subway’s. Plus they have kettle cooked BBQ chips which is pretty-darned-good in my book. However, I tend to shy away from this location since I get wierd vibes from the server who is usually there. Can’t put my finger on it, but I can’t wait to get out of there every time I go.
