My wife and I loved working with Academy Mortgage. We built our own home and they were able to work with us through out the whole process. We live 2 hours away from their Orem office and we never had to enter the office once we picked them to do our mortgage. We were able to do everything either over the phone or threw e-​mail. This made it very easy for us to focus on our home. They explained evything that was going on with our mortgage step by ste. We never worried about our money and what was happening with it. Academy Mortgage made it possible for us to have our dream home. THANK YOU!

Do NOT go there. This was the worst experience of my life. They LIE. They tell you your loan is approved, you sign the papers, pay your down payment and a week latter your loan is still not approved. Every time you call you’ll be talking to a different person. At first we dwelt with Scott, then Matt, Stephanie and Kierstin. Every time I’m dealing with a different person, they have a long excuse for everything, but a week after closing the funds of my loan are still not approved even though they sent me to closing because my loan was supposedly approved. It’s been the longest 8 weeks of my life. Now I’m out my earnest money, my down payment and no house keys. Don’t get SCREWED like I did. Go somewhere else.
