Stopped by for lunch, the décor is nice inside. We sat at the bar. Ordered a berry mojito to start off with. Nice blend of berries in it and enjoyed it. I got the Voodoo sandwich which consist of: blacken chicken breast, andouille sausage, pepper jack cheese, sautéed peppers and onion(which I held them off), tomato, pickles, lettuce and mayo served with tots. The sandwich had good flavor and enjoyed it. It’s was stacked high so I removed the tomatoes lol. The tots was nice and crunchy, I enjoyed everything there and will go back. Service is good and friendly.

Be forewarned— if you come here before a huge event, be prepared for a long wait. I suggested this spot for friends to meet before a concert since it was right by CFE arena. We arrived about 2 hours before our event and, while it was packed, we were seated quickly for a large party of 7. We placed drink orders right away– be prepared with your ID. Because this is in close proximity to UCF, you will most likely be carded. We also decided to place orders for food since we knew it would start to get slammed. Most of us ordered appetizers to share. I really should’ve read reviews before coming here. The size portions are massive! I ordered a cheese quesadilla, the loaded tots and the hummus/pesto hummus and tzatziki plate. Well, you know it’s not a good sign when the food comes before the drinks! It took waaay too long for cocktails and then when our drinks finally came, we were told that if we wanted to order another– we should do it right then and there since it would be a 20MINUTE wait! Insane! I ordered the Strawberry Lemonade sangria and, while it was delicious, they put so much ice in my glass that I finished it in a few gulps. So maybe ask for light on the ice. The cheese quesadilla was forgettable. I realllly enjoyed the loaded tots. I asked them to skip the bacon but it was still so flavorful with the queso, spicy giardiniera and green onions. Yummm! Overall, it was ok. I would probably try out this spot again but not on a busy Saturday night!

This was our first visit, and it was good, but I don’t think it was typical. We were one of only three tables, so the buzz in the place was absent. But our food, service and overall experience was very good and I think we will be back for sure. My California club sandwich was tasty– crisp bread, creamy avocado and well-done tots. My husband’s verde chicken flatbread was just spicy enough, very flavorful and crispy on the outside.

Went there last night for drinks after work. It had been a stressful day but this place always knows how to take care of that. I’ve been quite a few times over the last year it is always a great experience. The drink selection is always good and the bartenders are great at giving recommendations. Happy hour is a good deal regardless of the time.

Very disappointed. Didn’t have anything wrong with the server but wasn’t the best service. Seems pretty understaffed. Beautiful restaurant. I ordered broccoli Mac and cheese, and the broccoli was completely uncooked. It was raw broccoli on top of easy mac like mac n cheese(nothing like how the menu says) which was honestly something I have NEVER seen in a nice or decent restaurant or any at all. Whoever decided it was ok to put raw broccoli on easy mac it’s a horrible idea. So I reordered a sandwich and it wasn’t bad, but the salad looked like a side with the burger toppings, not an appealing salad at all. But it wasn’t a bad sandwich, very simple. I will honestly probably never go back, and I wouldn’t ever recommend this to anyone !

We ordered food and drinks at 6:00 p.m. last night(prior to Amy Schumer show)…at 7:15 p.m. still no food or drinks… and waitress could not tell us if we would have our food in 10 minutes or another hour! Since we were headed to a show at UCF another hour was not acceptable… we did end up getting drinks at the bar, after waiting about 15 minutes and then the bartender — nice as could be, but also the slowest ever(no sense of trying to serve a little faster) matter of fact, guy sitting at bar warned me that she was«very slow». We asked to speak to manager — he never showed up. Bar Louie takes the award for the worst dining experience EVER.

Giving them one star because I can’t seem to do less than that. This place sucks! Worst service ever. Made a reservation days in advance for a group of us going to an event and wanted to have dinner and drinks prior to that. When we got there the place was packed, no hostess in sight and the manager stated that there was no reservation under my name. Oh! And stated that the only ‘legitimate’ reservation on the books was for someone else… Nice accountability! I would fire you on the spot for offering the worst possible customer service.

Arrived around 10 pm for a late dinner with three other people in my party. We walked in and saw a sign to seat ourselves so we obliged and found a comfy booth straight through and past the hostess stand. We took a seat and waited… and waited… I even went to the restroom and when I came back my friends told me no one had come by to greet us. I noticed someone sweeping next to our table and grabbed her attention to which she responded«oh has no one come over to you yet?» I told her no one had and she said she would get someone. A little bit later, a gentleman came to us and informed us our server would be with us shortly but that he would be taking our drink order. After that pretty bumpy start, drinks took a bit to arrive. Our actual sever delivered them and by that time we were ready to order apps and dinner so we fired our orders off to her. She was sweet and the rest of the evening went a lot smoother. A weird thing happened though: When our server brought us our drinks she informed a guest in my party that they were out of blue moon so the bartender poured him a bud light instead… Wouldn’t the best thing to do be to ask them what they would want as a replacement instead of picking a different beer for them? So strange… Appetizers came out lightening fast. Overall, food was okay. The soft pretzels that came out fast weren’t very warm at all. I ordered a burger that was topped with cheddar, bacon, and BBQ sauce and it came with a side of tots. The burger was decent and huge – definitely filling. Tots were similar to the pretzels in that they were hardly warm and overall did not seem fresh. Best thing I had was the sparklin’ ruby martini. It was delicious. I believe the service needs some sprucing up and perhaps the food needs a little more lovin’ too.

The place was cool and all nice outdoor sitting. Service was good. however the reason why I gave the place 2 stars is because I order the Thai chicken flatbread the sauce they put on it was extremely salty I didn’t even try to have more then two small pieces!!! I really didn’t mentioned anything because someone else on my table order the same thing and she complain that it was salty as well but her be ate the whole flatbread he didn’t mind the salty-ness so I figure I’ll just leave it on the table the sever at no point didn’t come to ask how was my food so I left at that! I figured maybe it wasn’t my cup of tea! Btw I had Thai chicken flat bread at a Thai restaurant! So I know what to expect but not from a bar so I really not putting blames out!

Wow! This was my first time coming to any Bar Louie location, and overall I was impressed. 5 stars for you, Bar Louie. There aren’t many parking spaces around the building, and it seems to be always fairly crowded since there are many other options in this plaza such as BurgerFi. However, there is a parking garage around back. Bar Louie was poppin’ off tonight! The place was packed, but in a good way. It’s in the college part of town, but the crowd definitely felt a little more mature. There is plenty of indoor seating around the bar and at tables. There is a really nice patio area which has a more loungey feel with couches to sit on, but there are regular tables and high tops outside as well. We opted for a patio high top. Our server was great! Very attentive and though it was busy everything came out within a reasonable amount of time. I’m not normally a Martini person, but since they’re known for them I figured, hey why not. I started with the 90 mile to Florida martini, which was delicious! It’s a pineapple flavored drink that’s strong but not TOO strong. My friend had The Clover which is apparently the strongest martini on the menu, and I had a sip. Good stuff. Take note they have $ 5 martinis for happy hour as well as low prices on beer and wine. I then ordered the Thai chicken flatbread, because select flatbreads and apps are half off during their 4−7pm happy hour! It was SPICY! But oh so good. It’s pretty large, so you can definitely split it if you’re a girl like me that attempts to split things with people all the time! I finished off the night with the Strawberry Peach Bellini because it sounded like heaven in a glass. It was bubbly and yummy! All in all, I had a good experience there. It’s a great spot to hang with friends, or go on a casual date. Whenever I’m back on that side of town I’ll likely stop in!

The service was good but the food was mediocre and not cooked well. For an appetiser we got loaded tots. The tots were all right but it didn’t taste that great in my opinion. I got the Philly burger with tots. I asked for medium rare and it was well done. All I could taste was the oil and grease from the burger. The tots are hard to mess up on there own since they are just fried.

Horrible customer service!(servers and managers) Discrimination! Just had the worst experience I have ever had. My friend and me are from Germany. Both of us had two official Identification Cards with us(one European driver’s license and one german ID. The server did not accept both ID’s. She told us that she would need something ‘AMERICAN’. Excuse me?! How should a non-citizen have an American ID??? Shortly after the manager, came and told us the same. After a little discussion he suddenly told us that he accepts the German passport. Well it disappoints me that Bar Louie’s staff only recognizes American IDs. Carrying a passport with me is way too risky that it could get lost AND it doesn’t fit in a guys pocket. And of course the server and the manager were super rude. Long wait time until the server welcomed us(well I did not hear a ‘hello’ or something like that). I can only tell you… DON’t GOTHERE!

They have good five dollar burgers and orange mules, if you like Moscow mules. Mine haven’t been consistent, though. Sometimes it’s spot on, sometimes it’s way too sweet. A little loud and crowded though because it’s a busy UCF bar. The blue Louie burger is enjoyable if you like blue cheese and bacon, although the spinach on it doesn’t really add or detract from it. It’s just kind of … there. Like a placeholder. The tater tots are the way to go! Salty, crunchy, and delicious.

My girlfriends & I stopped here for some light bites and drinks before going to a concert at the UCF arena. This location has a nice expansive outside patio but since it was a little warm, we opted for the AC. We settled into a booth and our server came over right away to bring us water and answer questions and provide recommendations for some cocktails. The strawberry lemon sangria sounded refreshing so I went with it. As the rest of our party settled in we ordered a bruschetta which was on par with what you’d expect and plenty for sharing. My sangria was tasty but I wanted something a bit on the stronger side for my next cocktail. We ordered the Verde chicken flatbread, Thai chicken flatbread, chicken Parmesan sliders and a burger with loaded tots. The flatbreads were a good portion size and super different from one another so we split. Perfect kick with the jalapeños! My friend’s sliders were tasty, she had no complaints. We did have to send back the loaded tater tots because they were a bit on the cold side but our server quickly replaced them and apologized. No harm no foul! We ordered another round of drinks and chatted away before it was time to split the checks and head out. Super easy and pleasant experience.

I would describe Bar Louie’s UCF location as the perfect place for the above 21-year-old students to go to! Casual and comfortable atmosphere with lots of tv’s and many unique drinks to choose from. I have gone multiple times after tailgating to watch the UCF football games and it is always a great time! The patio is really great when the weather is nice! I highly recommend for the older UCF students! Don’t try using a fake ID here!

I’ve been wanting to try this place out since the new plaza first opened. I was greatly disappointed by my first visit. We came for the $ 5 burger deal on Tuesdays and ended up waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Our waiter was super kind and, I believe, genuinely sorry for the incredibly long wait time, but they need some more chefs in that kitchen or something. I think it would be a fun atmosphere for fun drinks but not super stoked about the food. Bar Louie burgers ain’t got nothing on Burger-FI.

By far, one of my favorite places for happy hour(M-F 4−7pm). Some places offer $ 1 off, etc. Not Bar Louie. A glass of wine that normally costs $ 12.50, for only $ 4.25. Yes — you read that right. Certain appetizers and flatbreads are also half off, and the chicken quesadilla was definitely big enough to be dinner. Bartenders and servers are fun and upbeat. $ 5 burgers on Tuesday, combined with happy hour, makes for a crazy cheap and wonderful outing. Also a great atmosphere for watching sports, which is a huge plus! I will certainly be returning.

Like others have said, the atmosphere is nice at Bar Louie UCF. Would be a fun spot for happy hour after work. We came here on a Thursday during lunch around 11:30 and were one of the first tables. Service was quick and friendly. Our appetizers came out quickly and were pretty good. The Bavarian Pretzels with honey mustard, queso, and cinnamon butter were warm and soft. The cinnamon butter was really good with the Pretzel bread. Our entrees took a little over thirty minutes to come out. We had six people in the party, so it was not a big party. Seems like expediting may be a bit of a problem. My fish and chips were okay. It consisted of one smaller piece and one very large piece of fried fish. The bigger piece was just too big. You lose the crunch of the batter when the fish filet is so large. It would have been more enjoyable to have smaller fillets. My hands stank of fish afterwards. Relatively new, so just needs sometime to work things out. A-OK.
