Denny’s

So dirty. Really dirty. People are so friendly though. Bathroom gross. Floor of restaurant so gross. Waitress is so friendly though. But dirty fingernails. So sad. Good prices. Ice cold coffee. food is delicious.

Walked into an almost empty restaurant and waited ten min for a seat. No one came so we left.

Service was super slow. We sat and had to get up to get our own menus. Server did not remember where we sat cause I can hear her saying «where did they go?» then finally came to the table to introduce herself. We ordered immediately cause didn’t want to chance her coming back to the table in 30 minutes later. Food came out fairly quickly. We asked for hand sanitizer or moist wipes, we knew it was gonna take a while so of course she brings wipes right as we are done eating. At one point we saw a family come in and they waited 15 minutes and no one came to their table. They also had to get up and get their own menus. When the server came to their table I don’t know what happened but they got up and walked out. When we were done, we walked up to the register and waited 10 minutes. Not one person that worked at Dennys was available anywhere. We yelled «hello» and the cook had to come out from the kitchen to get an employee to ring us up. 10 minutes waiting and we couldve left without paying and no one would know. All of this happened while 2 other families were already eating. I could understand if it was full of families eating, but only us and 2 other families and 3 other servers. This was the most horrific experience ever. Had I read a review before, I would’ve never gone.

Food was same old, nothing new, but service was extremely slow. The gentleman serving us was nice but once we got our food, no one ever came back to check on us. When it was time to leave, my husband had to stand up and stand by the register/​kitchen area, for a 5+ minutes, unnoticed, to ask for a box and the check. Then another 7 minutes standing by the register to pay.

Worst service ever. We were given menu card after 10mts of table allotment. Even after waiting for half an hour no one came to take the order. We walked out without eating.

French toast arrived burned edges. Sent back was really burned. Pancakes cold. Fried eggs over cooked not warm at all. Overall bad experience except our wonderful server.

Worst ever meal I’ve had it you need any Dennys. We came in at lunch, waited 10 before we were greated, then waited 40 minutes for our food and this was before 12. Food was cold, but by then we had to get back to work.
Stay away

First time I have been to a place where they don’t use cooking spray! I was ready for a great breakfast only to be disappointed as the waiter «Joey» states they don’t and have never had cooking spray, he know because he used to cook in the back! He stated they use butter and ONLY butter! Really? How about the low calorie dishes advertised? So, I settle for a salad… Wow! Disappointed all the way around!

Where to start…
I guess I will say that our servers, Alma and India, we most gracious and excellent.
The rest is — blah. Filthy restaurant! From the floors, to the booths, to the ants crawling on the wall of the booth where we were seated in the back room! Disgusting!
The grill made so many meals incorrectly, they began churning out half cooked pancakes just trying to get the orders correct.
The food was especially greasy, even for a Denny’s, and was cold when it arrived at our table.
The «butter-​like» substance on the toast was a curious color and rendered inedible by the sheer lol of it.
This was the last time I will ever eat at Denny’s. I would rather eat dog food.

Came here after an all-​nighter and was satisfied by the long list of comfort food options that was available at a decent price, in my case, the ultimate skillet.
The skillets at this Denny’s are just the type of dish that can satisfy any craving with honey sausage, bell peppers and onions, mushrooms, and well-​cooked potatoes covered with eggs any way you like. Would recommend over medium or over easy eggs to let it spill over. Service was very quick, relatively friendly, but seemed to be short-​staffed though that might be due to it being the morning shift around 8:30am. I originally ordered the Baja tortilla burger, but was disappointed in my request as there weren’t any avocados that were ripe enough. Looking forward to heading here for my budget lunch break at work.

We Just left, very bad service only one server for the entire place. He was rude and in a bad mood. They were not very busy only 5 tables of people and two were already done eating. One family just got up and walked out before placing there order, they sat at the table for at least 15 minutes and he never come over. They even called for his attention he looked at them and said in a minute. We Probably should have walked out too.
I asked if I could have a side salad instead of the mash potatoes that I originally ordered 5 minutes prior. He then made a big deal about me Changing my order. Then He went to the cook and was saying how difficult we were and how we changed our order, he was not quite about his complaint to the cook, we and the other people could hear him. We will NOT be back.

Came here with two coworkers and ordered a pancake breakfast with one server, when the food came I never got my pancakes and the we got a new server who never came around to check… There were only 6 or 7 tables busy in the place… Not impressed at all with service

Um dos melhores cafés da manhã que tive nas minhas férias em Orlando foi aqui, por diversos motivos.
Em primeiro lugar, foi o atendimento impecável: fomos atendidos por um dos garçons mais prestativos que já vi nos EUA ou em qualquer outro lugar, Timothy. Ele falava de um jeito gentil, era rápido, eficiente e muito, muito, muito prestativo. Tim parecia alguém saído de um seriado.
Mas claro, só um Tim não faz um bom café da manhã — as opções de comida também são muito boas. Já conheço o Denny’s há algum tempo, mas pude perceber que realmente, aqui é o melhor lugar para um café bem estadunidense: você pode comer panquecas (dependendo do pedido, comuns ou cheias de acompanhamentos), waffles, hash brown, bacon, salsichas e o café é INFINITO. Para amantes de café, como eu, a mistura aguada que o país parece amar não agrada tanto, mas a do Denny’s é até aceitável.
Ah, e tudo é incrivelmente barato! É possível dividir as combinações («slams») que por vezes dão para duas ou até três pessoas que não tem o apetite estadunidense médio.
O ambiente também é ótimo, e lembra muito os diners típicos da cultura pop. Você talvez se sinta um pouquinho em um filme.
O que falta são algumas opções mais leves para o café da manhã, mas até aí o Denny’s não é o tipo de lugar ideal para ir toda manhã. Venha, esbalde-​se, e no dia seguinte pense em começar o dia com alguma fruta ;)

If you come to this Denny’s, be sure to have Timmy as your waiter. This guy has one of the best attitudes for a waiter that I’ve see in a while! It’s a Denny’s diner, so it’s a old school feel here.

I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes for a lumber jack and my child breakfast and nothing. The restaurant was half full and we were in front of the kitchen. All the waiters in front of us, and none of then said anything

Ate at the Denny’s on John Young Parkway. The table was sticky the food was average and the check was incorrect. Beside that, the experience was forgettable. Doubt I will be coming back.

Place is extremely dirty. There was a fingernail on my table. Water bottle under the table. My feet stuck to the floor as I was walking. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and service took forever. I will not be returning EVER AGAIN!

Came here before leaving Orlando. This is a nice Denny’s but it’s out in nowhere. Which could be a good thing since anywhere near the popular busy streets, it will be packed from all the tourists.
The service was good and the food is exactly what you expect from Denny’s.
I like the throwback 50’s diner theme.
