Walked in at 6:30 on a Saturday night. There was no one at the hostess stand. Waited a minute or two… A party walked in behind us. We decided just to go sit at the bar. The party behind us had to try to get the attention of hostess for a minute or two to get seated. After 10 minutes of sitting at the bar we decided to leave. Had one of the two bartenders who walked up to ring out checked or refill drinks looked up and said«I’ll be right with you, we would have stayed». Poor service. Have been previously and it was only ok so we had decided to give it a second chance. Oh well. Go to wasabi down the street:

I feel like 3 and a half is a good rating to give this place but I can’t give a half. Here are the good things about this place: 1: It’s got a really nice atmosphere with the lights and the furniture and the cleanliness. 2: The service is pretty friendly. It’s not fantastic but it is friendly. I can’t say there was anything really«bad» about this place but I can say some parts are«lackluster» or «disappointing», for instance the quality/authenticity of the food. They have the whole«Hibachi grill» food show(not really a show, more like a few tricks and jokes) but they give you a good amount of food. They also have a bar but I haven’t done any drinking here yet. Also, surprisingly, they do take out.

Hungry for sushi? Not a bad place to go to if your in the area. Specially considering the deals. It won’t blow away your mind though. I would say it’s average tasting sushi with ok service.

My husband and I dropped by on New Years Eve for dinner and we loved it! The service was great, the chef cooked amazing, and the atmosphere was warm. We had the Teppanyaki Steak n Shrimp and it was delicious! I would definitely return!

This place is right by my office so I frequently have lunch here. The sushi is consistently good. I tried the lunch hibachi on my most recent visit and it was ok. It lacked flavor in the veggies/noodles. I’ll probably be sticking to my sushi in the future because I can always count on that being good! The service is usually great and the atmosphere is nice and modern.

Not a fan. I remember when this place used to be nice. It was new and just had a good vibe to it. Since having moved to Northern California, I’ve become very found of tasty fresh sushi. I had just gotten in town so a friend and I decided to go here to catch up. Right off the bat I noticed it was a slow night, no hostess. After a few minutes a waiter let us know we could sit anywhere. So we went outside. Happy hour, why not? Ordered off the paper menu and within a minute we had our waters. Gross! Water clearly tasted sewery. Not at all appetizing. We had also ordered two mojitos that came after I had to ask again and looked like they had thrown dead wet leaves in it. Mind you at this point we’ve seen 3 different waiters. 10 more minutes my sushi came in. Dry, no soy, looked(and tasted) old. What ever happened to taking pride in service. I had another pal just down the road also join in the mess. He agreed, nothing good on the table. I gotta say, this place is not what it used to be. Im boycotting this place, would rather pay full price and travel further for fresh sushi that take a hit here again.

Great deals for happy hour. Sushi was great! The atmosphere was very quiet when we arrived around 4:30, but they seemed to attract some more people for happy hour. There are $ 1.50 beers and $ 3 house wines. My boyfriend got the sushi. He said the amount of fish was perfect, especially in comparison to some of the other places around Orlando that barely put any. I got the udon noodles and vegetables after enjoying some delicious krab rangoons. Everything was freshly made! Tom worked extremely hard behind the bar. Total honey! Definitely give this place a chance.
