Huong viet is a bright, clean restaurant. The service is friendly, which make me feel welcome. I had the #52 a rice platter with Grilled pork, Shredded pork and meatloaf. Was very delicious. Also had a plneapple smoothie. I like this most of all.

Fresh delicious food. Great prices and large portion sizes. It’s in a pretty crummy industrial area of town, but don’t let that keep you away. The restaurant is clean and nicely set up inside. And the food is definitely worth it!

I’ve been in this city for only a few months, and I’ve spent the entirety of that time looking for an affordable place to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. I know there are many to choose from, and aside from two visits to the now-closed Phö K5, no Asian restaurant has stood up. Until my girlfriend took me here. From the first bite of my beef skewer to the last rice noodles at the bottom of the huge bowl we shared, every morsel was astoundingly delicious. I am so grateful that I only ordered water, so as not to disturb my palate with flavors outside of the spectrum of heaven I found myself in. Came in during a slow period, but I can only imagine this place gets nuts. If not, I hope this can stay a secret only kept alive by the lucky few to have walked in and eaten here. Oh yeah, it’s also incredibly affordable.

Best Vietnamese food in town. Had dinner twice in a row during a 4 day business trip to the area. Each meal was lovingly cooked by the proprietor’s grandmother and was delicious. Large portions, reasonable prices, excellent service, very clean restaurant.

Tasty Vietnamese food. Great prices and service. The grilled pork rolls, egg rolls, banh mi, and phở all tasted authentic and piping hot. What a great relief it is to find real food in this touristy town.

We like to try phở wherever we travel to. It’s better than buying a souvenir! We came here about an hour before closing on Friday. We had the rare steak phở(Tai), the rare steak and meatball phở(Tai bo vien) and the combo phở(dac biet). Phở broth was very flavorful and stayed hot for a long time.(Love when that happens!) They also provide a lot of bean sprouts and fresh herbs to mix in. Unfortunately, they don’t put as much meat as I’m used to here in California, or noodles, so I was a little disappointed that I could easily swirl around my chopsticks even before eating. Overall, very good phở. Restaurant was nice and clean(the smell of pine sol from the man mopping as we ate reinforced this). Service was fast and friendly.

My brother, sister and their families came here to eat because it was recommended by one of his friends. Phở broth was pretty much boiled water no authentic phở taste whatsoever. Sister ordered the com Dac biet. The thit nuong was bland no seasoning at all. Bad experience and never will come here again.

I have come here consistently over the last year, and CONSISTENTLY, their service has lacked. No waters, no plates, no napkins, no chopsticks, etc.

Service was great. Entered the restaurant and was greeted immediately. Waiter was very attentive and checked on us regularly. I ordered the grilled shredded pork. Meat was on par. Fish sauce and vegetables complimented the dish very well. Would consider coming back next time I am in the Orlando area. An overall good experience.

Stopped by on our last night in Orlando. And glad that we did! Awesome spot and surprisingly empty while we were there. Service was great– the guy there was friendly and accommodating. Tried the eggrolls– okay, these were pretty close to my mom’s eggrolls, which obviously are the best(whose mom’s isn’t?!). Lots of meat and had good distribution of veggies inside. Delicious! I ordered the bun dac biet– yes! This is the best combo! I love combo vermicelli bowls and it’s hard to find with everything I like in it: grilled pork patties(nem nuong), egg rolls, grilled pork(thit nuong), and bean curd wrapped shrimp paste. The noodles and veggies were fresh. I threw in my nuoc mam, mixed that ish up and went to town. Flavors are mouthwatering. Meat was seasoned well and was not chewy– bonus points! My son enjoyed his rice dish with grilled pork, shredded pork skin and meatloaf. The hubby enjoyed his phở dac biet. Glad we got a chance to eat here, will definitely return when we are back in Orlando.

Good food at a great price. Once we got pass the language barrier. Which worked out well. Try the banh mi. The bread is fresh and seems like it was just baked right out the oven.

TLDR: Small portions, chilli oil is spicy, and not enough meat. Ordered a medium, left hungry even after finishing the bowl! It looks like a large bowl, but is mostly soup. I could count 5 pieces of meat, maybe less, in my bowl. The chilli oil is really spicy, so adding a bit at a time is a good idea. Damnit, I’m still hungry.

We came back for the second time because we needed to get our Phở fix before we head home on our 5-hr drive. The summer rolls, pork rolls, and egg rolls were awesome as usual. We only ordered our brisket and meatball phở and the the broth was on-point. However, while my daughter was looking for more brisket in her phở, she instead found a small cockroach(size of a pea) dead floating. We let our server know, who in turn, informed her manager. The manager apologize and said they sprayed in the kitchen and may have gotten inside the pot. She offered to make another one. I had the same phở and I seriously lost my appetite and we just started eating. I’m disappointed that she still had us pay for our meals. She should have comped us, instead she gave us 3 mini macaroons as an apology. When you find any foreign object in your food, you should automatically comp your customers. That way, they’ll come back again.

What a hidden gem this place is! The ambiance here was very pleasant and well lit. If you are claustrophobic, rest assured, the high ceilings will instantly take that feeling away. I agree with Erick, this is possibly the best interior designed Vietnamese restaurant in Orlando. It isn’t a super big restaurant, but it’s not one of those small ‘hole in the wall’ type of place either. Customer service was on point. The employees were very polite, attentive but not obtrusive, and had great menu knowledge. I came back for a second visit and was completely blown away. With the wide variety of drink selections and different types of dishes, there is plenty to choose from. The first time I came here I ordered a mega bowl of Phở tai(eye round beef), and it was indeed bigger than your typical ‘large’ and very hearty. The vegetables were fresh(comes with bean sprouts, basil, culantro, lime, and jalapenos). It was very tasty and as close to authentic as you can get. Last week I returned and ordered their spring roll, durian smoothie, and the Bun bo hue. The spring roll is one of my favorite appetizers and I absolutely enjoyed theirs. Bun bo hue is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes and believe me, I was completely satisfied with theirs also! I highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves Vietnamese soup but wants to stray away from the typical Phở. Overall, a well deserved 5 stars from me! The bathrooms were very clean, and this assured me that they maintain every part of this restaurant. Will definitely return on my next visit back to Orlando!

Not bad, but not great either. Service was sloooooooow even though there were only two other tables.(it was 10am on a weekday) It took 10 minutes to get the check, and another 10 to get a to-go container once we paid. Our server was also awkward… wouldn’t even look us in the eye. We ordered phở; mega bowl Combination special($ 12) and a large eye of round.(~$ 9) First off, what this place considers«mega» is considered a «large» at other Vietnamese restaurants and $ 2 cheaper. Not really fair to call it «mega» here and up-charge for it. Also, the mega bowl was not totally filled, so other then bowl size, not that much bigger then a large. Anyway, as to the phở itself. The broth was ok, NOT the thing phở dreams are made of, but not bad either. Light, simple, but not really fragrant or amazing like some other phở places. The mega bowl had plenty of meat but very little noodles. The eye of round had little meat(maybe 5 razor thin pieces?) but a fair amount of noodles. That said the quality of meat was excellent, just wish we had more. The amount of «fixins» ala Beansprouts, basil, etc. was abysmal, especially for a large and mega sized bowl to share. The amount was what I usually get for one bowl at other places, let alone two. We also got a thai tea and mango boba. The mango boba was fantastic but took 15 minutes to get to the table. The thai tea was great, however, be warned if you like an overly sweet thai tea you will not enjoy this. All in all, not bad, but not fantastic either. If we were in the area and craving phở we would stop by here, but would definitely not go out of the way for it. I will say it is probably one of the nicest decorated Vietnamese restaurants, and pretty clean as well.

Delicious food. Large portions. Very pleasant service. Simply put, the food is excellent. We have ordered the steak/brisket phở, along with 2 báhn mi [chicken and pork]. The«medium’ sized phở is more than enough for most people and I would suggest ordering the „small“ so that you can enjoy a few additional items off their menu. The báhn mi is a bargain at just over $ 3 and although we have ordered it as an appetizer, this roughly– 6» sandwich is packed with tons of flavor. The combination of the grilled meat and pickled veggies satisfies those in need of a salty/tangy treat. From start to finish the service was both quick and friendly. Combine the great service with great(low priced) food and you have yourself a weekly lunch destination.

I’ve been looking for great Vietnamese food on the west side of Orlando and at last I’ve found it! Ignore the decrepit shopping center locale of this place; inside it’s nicely decorated, and the servers are friendly and helpful. There is an extensive selection of vermicelli bowls, phở, and banh mi sandwiches. My grilled pork vermicelli bowl was delicious, and it was no problem to substitute the summer roll instead of the included egg roll. The fish sauce served with the vermicelli bowl was particularly tasty, and the summer roll included very flavorful basil leaves. Pricing is very reasonable, with sandwiches starting at under $ 4, and all the bowls well under $ 10. I’ll definitely be back soon to check out their other offerings.

My family ate here today for lunch before leaving town since we wanted some phở and banh mi before leaving orlando. We decided to try this new place since we have never tried this place before. This place is located at the chinatown strip mall but on the right side and not the left side where most of the action is. Very typical viet restaurant and typical viet food/menu. We tried the chicken and bbq pork banh mi for appetizers(split in 2 for four people is perfect size). They were delicious but its not the typical french bread like at the famous Lee’s. But the bread was still buttery good. The pork was delicious though. The price though is a little expensive at $ 3.50 roughly. The other viet restaurant in the chinatown complex is only $ 2.99. And their banh mi is a little smaller. But I do prefer the taste of the pork at this place. So depends what you value more, quantity or quality for price. As for the phở, i tried the steak slices and meatball slices(its my fav choice lol). The broth is pretty good. The side vegetables(lime, bean sprouts, chili, ngo gai) are all fresh. The price is okay for the sizes. It is a family run place so expect babies and family members in the back table and what not eating and stuff. There are TVS to entertain the men lol. Only thing that bugs me is they cooked food for themselves and brought it out to eat at the back table before cooking for us. If I ran a restaurant I say the customer comes before you eating. Especially when the restaurant isn’t busy. We were the only ones in there when we left so they could have eaten after we left. Overall, pretty good food and typical viet restaurant. Would recommend this place to others and if you want some good food.
