Pi Pizza

Had a great experience at Pi-​Pizza this evening! Found this place on Unilocal and was thrilled with everything. The concept of an X-​Large pizza with a hole cut in middle for your choice of appetizer, salad or desert was so simple, but very unique.
We had a birthday party there and everyone was so helpful and attentive. The specialty pizzas are great combinations with a little twist. I was joined by three very particular pizza fans. Each one was delighted with the quality of the pizzas.
The free beer was a real plus. We expected rot-​gut beer and very small cups. They had good beer and full sized frosted mugs.
We will be back again and again.

We decided to try Pi Pizza after seeing a few reviews on Unilocal.Loved the concept so we included it in our family night out. Unfortunately, we showed up at different location only to find out they were closed because their pizza oven was broken. Determined to try this pizza out we contacted the next closest location, confirmed they were open, and headed that way.
We are a family of 3 with very different ideas of how we like our pizzas so Pi Pizza was the perfect place or so we thought. There were a few other patrons upon our arrival but everyone was already seated. We made our way up to the counter, explained we’d never been there before, and received the rundown. Feeling slightly rushed we opted for the whole pizza done in quarters; Your Father’s Garage, Fully Loaded, and 2 portions of Red-​Headed Rita. Oh, we also got the mac & cheese bites as the «hole» not realizing they were fried.
The bites were ok. Not greasy, which was good but quite bland. Now, my husband (Father’s Garage/​Red-​Headed Rita) and daughter (Fully Loaded) got through their slices without much fanfare. However, one bite into the Red-​Headed Rita and I was done. No hint of garlic purée, garlic oil, or anything other than sweet. The sauce was sticky sweet. The sundried tomatoes — sweet. The balsamic — yep, you guessed it. SWEET. I couldn’t do it. There was zero balance to this pizza. I ended up eating a piece of the Fully Loaded and while my husband was able to eat some of the Red-​Headed Rita he did so using the horseradish sauce that came with his pizza.
It really is a great concept but it’s just not for us.

Good and very fast East Coast style pizza whole or by the slice like we had growing up in Jersey. Great place to stop after shooting practically across the street at Oak Ridge gun range. There are a couple of picnic tables so you can enjoy the fresh air and sit outside while you eat, as well.

Awesome pizza, easy to order. Service was even better. Gentleman behind the counter was fantastic and went out of his way to provide great service. I’ll be back!

We eat a lot of pizza from a lot of different places, but this pizza was delicious!!! Service was incredible, the manager is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is fun and old school type feel, from the music to the ms. pac-​man machine. I will definitely be coming back here again. This has quickly become my new favorite place, and they deliver!

Where to start. … came here after chilling in downtown Orlando at around 12:30am. yes I know it’s quite a drive for pizza but I must say it was worth. First time here will definitely be back. Staff is super friendly. Manager is too cool and really takes pride in his establishment. The food is prepared to order so nice and fresh… none of that stale reheated crap like that on orange drive. To top of the service and food they give you 2 glasses of FREE BEER … how amazing is that. I had unit British Larger complimented with the RED HEADED RITA… all in all awesome experience..

I ordered a medium (2 slices) with Alfredo sauce and spinach. Th e girl on the phone asked specifically if I wanted white sauce instead of red. I confirmed that is what I wanted. I showed up 15 minutes later (appointed time) and they told me they didn’t have Alfredo sauce. The manager showed it where I was and then I was given two cheese slices with spinach and red sauce and Alfredo sauce on the side. I didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for them to fix their error so I took it.
Mistakes happen, but after all that, the pizza wasn’t that good.
I won’t be back.

Second to post! This was an awesome break from a long day of studying. AND they give you two free beers with an order. That is insane that one would not go here. One meaning YOU! I had the wings, which were great. I would tweak the sauce a little and fry them crispier, I am a wingologist, so I am picky. However, I gave this a rating based on the average wing eater. I am a New Yorker, so the «gourmet» pizza was not something I ordered, although the slices were large and looked great.

Free beers with any purchase any day of the week. I ordered a pizza, wings and mozzarella sticks. Pizza was average, wings was decent, however the mozzarella sticks are delicious. It’s gourmet pizza.
It’s a new location, it opened two weeks ago. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.
It’s in the same plaza. right next to youfit, Tijuana flats, sushi café and across from besuto sushi.
