WORST. BURGERS. EVER. Our group of 32 ordered every kind of burger on the menu and everyone said their’s was the worst burger ever. I decided to try something different and got the Garden Burger(vegan) and it tasted like plastic. I couldn’t even finish the burger after piling on condiments and I was hungry AF since we didn’t eat lunch until 3:30pm. I was kind of shocked that the meal only cost me $ 12 since it’s in the park but now I know why. Too bad I didn’t even have time to look at reviews before my brother-in-law picked the first restaurant he saw. Lesson learned? Never trust a non-Yelper.

After a long hot day at the park, this place was nice to go to to grab a bite to eat. Fairly high prices but, it is conveniently located in the park.

Awful. We were here two years ago and it was bad back then. Just as bad today. Chicken sandwich had the smallest piece of meat. Bun was dry and seemed like it was sitting out for a while. The pickles were gross The location was not very clean. Seating was very limited. Never again!!!

My friend and I decided to stop here for burgers while roaming Universal Studios. I knew Krustyland burgers were delicious but we were so hungry and with Richters being exactly where we were, we chose here instead. First off the menu is so small! There are only 4 meal options and 2 of them are burgers, the other is a chicken sandwich and a salad. I will say this, I loved that they had root beer floats, cheese sauce and apple pie. Those are items that aren’t found at some of the other fast food places in the park. I ordered ‘the big one’ burger which is just a cheese burger, nothing special about it. The sandwich came with fries so I got a side of cheese sauce to go with it. The burger comes with nothing on it but cheese, so you have to visit the condiment bar if you want anything extra. My burger was so disappointing! It was thin and so salty! I didn’t even eat half of it. I will say the fries and cheese sauce were excellent but I wish we had just walked a few feet farther for a Krusty burger.

Do not eat here. Asked for an all around burger. They gave me a bacon cheeseburger and I had to go back for my bacon. When I went back for the. Bacon they gave me a nasty look and picked up two slices of microwave bacon and slapped it on top of the original burger. No apologies. Nothing. Just nasty food. Burger was cold

The first thing I noticed about my burger was microwaved bacon. It was immediate for a place this size that does this kind of massive volume I was expecting something better. Some on get some real freaking bacon. The shake was decent and the fries were good Can’t get over the microwaved bacon you take a nice restaurant and immediately bring it to Wendy’s level, except they don’t microwave bacon anymore

Holy Cow! This is one of those places I wish I had read the Unilocal review for, beforehand! Please avoid! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich(I think it’s called the San Andreas — maybe because the chicken fell into a crack in the earth and is no longer on your sandwich). But seriously, they should serve it with a magnifying glass so you can find it on the bun. Or maybe just bring binoculars with you, look at the sandwich from across the room first and then pretend the bun is actually chicken. The Milkshake came out of a «Frosty like machine» and had the consistency of soft serve and not that of a milkshake. Not to my surprise it tasted just like a Frosty. I prefer to drink a milkshake with a straw and not a spoon. The best thing from this place was fruit cup for $ 3.99 which was actually a decently priced healthy snack. Otherwise, there are plenty of other better options in the park, with even more better options in City Walk.

The one star is only for the nice lady who took my order! She was sweet as a peach, so friendly and welcoming! I absolutely enjoyed speaking with her… Now that is ALL I enjoyed… I ordered a double stacked cheese burger called the after shock it was almost 14.00 for the burger and fries… It’s an amusement park, I get it is gonna be a little extra then normal… What I didn’t like is this company thinks it is ok to serve that low grade, frozen hamburger meat at a jacked up, obnoxious, embarrassing price… Who ever owns this company and management should be ABSOLUTELY ashamed of them selves for the robbery of quality to the pallet that insulted my mouth… The burger meat was grey and Luke warm at best. It was served naked and undressed… I asked for honey mustard and was given it!!! I love honey mustard, that sad excuse of a condiment should not even be made or distributed in my opinion! The first ingredient listed on the ingredients was WATER, then HIgh fructose corn syrup! Honestly I can see why water was the first listed ingredient because that is exactly what it tasted like! When my boyfriend asked for ranch the lady said the honey mustard was free but the ranch is 85 cents! She then with her gloves on, took the dollar from him and escorted it to the cashier. After waiting 5 minutes for the 15 cents he became irritated and walked away… As we ordered you could see the frozen patties just sitting on the counter waiting to be mass thawed and cooked and served to consumers! I am truly appalled and offended by the low quality of this businesses food. It is of my STRONGEST recommendation to eat somewhere else in the park! In my personal opinion, this place should be shut down because honestly I would have rather had my dogs chow then ever insult my body and mouth like that again! TENTHUMBSDOWN!!! Please go somewhere else you will be disappointed if you have ever eaten a burger before you will laugh at what they try to serve you!

One of he worst meals I’ve had in the longest time. Burger was just above room temperature, soggy like a frozen, reheated mess. Cheese was cold, bacon tasted fake, fries were cold. KEEPAWAY!!! Disgusting

Very impressed with the quality of the food and the offerings. I had 3 meal plan passes with 2 unlimited drink options and i was able to use it here. Very few options but basic burger and fries place. Once you order you cucustomize your burger with the salad bar which is a great option. Specially because veggies are so hard to come by in any restaurant here in universal. The tables are clean, no bathrooms in this outlet but you can walk across the street for restroom access. Overall a great place to eat, my entire order was 3 dbl cheese burgers with hand cut potato and 3 chocolate milkshakes. The entire order would be about $ 55. On top of that i still could have had. Snack included with my meal plans but i figure i save it for later. The wait was reasonable 25 from start of the line to placing the order. Waited less than 10 mins for food. By the way it was 12pm, so long lines at all the food outlets.

No. Just no. Possibly the worst burger that I’ve ever ingested in my life. Do yourself a favor and go outside the park and eat literally anywhere on the Universal CityWalk. Same-ish prices, and your belly will be much happier.

We wandered into Richter’s on our 2nd day at Universal. The first day we were pleasantly surprised with pretty good pizza at another joint and decided to try something different. When entering, note that the queue is so narrow that even the smallest stroller won’t fit without aggressive maneuvering. We ditched out stroller and made our way to the longish line. The line moved quickly and we made our way to the front to place our order. We went with 2 of the single burgers with fries & kids mac-n-cheese. It was surprising that it was more expensive to order a soft drink than to get the milkshake with your meal. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve had the shake to make the meal edible. The burgers are nasty. Plain and simple… it’s disgusting. The meat patty was clearly not 100% beef and was a dry & gray(look at my photo of you dare!). I normally skip the fixings bar, but I went looking for something to rescue this burger. The offerings for condiments were meager & ketchup & mustard were in packets. Weird. The French fries were pretty good & are the ONLY thing saving this from a 1-star review. The mac-n-cheese was dry, crusty & cold. It looked like boxed Kraft mac-n-cheese that was cooked a few days ago. Gross. The«Richter» theme is an interesting idea, but one that doesn’t translate without some explanation to kids. There are better options all over the park… skip this one!

I’ve wanted to try this burger joint for quite some time and finally had the chance this past weekend when my darling wife reminded me and suggested it. I was certainly glad to give it a shot. As far as the food goes, it’s okay. Their Earthquake Burger is sizeable enough to fill you up and the fries that are served with it are actually very good and crispy. I was also impressed with the thick(very thick) vanilla and chocolate shakes they offer — it actually reminded me of a Wendy’s Frosty. The service unfortunately is painfully slow, but at least the workers were friendly and helpful when I needed a hand or had a question to ask. In the end, it is just a burger joint and other than the ambiance and occasional earthquake in the establishment there’s nothing, food-wise, that makes it stand out.

You’ll probably like this place if you have little children but the food in this place is horrible. The meat is tasteless and the guac has no flavor. Please save your money and go to another place.

Richter’s Burger is setup a lot like a Fuddruckers, with your burger and chicken sandwich options. The atmosphere, dinning space, and staff were exceptional for our visit. The food reflects the low rating. The beef patty is the type you’d expect from large cafeteria style catering. While the patty was large, like a ½ lb., it is processed meet product and lacked the authentic big beef burger taste. Needless to say we were all disappointed. The food is served in a basket and is the right portion size you’d expect for the price. We also tried their chocolate cake, a photo has been uploaded. When surveyed around the tabled, the unanimous verdict was«it was alright».

Terrible burgers with very slow service and long lines. The other reviews are right the burgers tastes like the ones from elementary school and are terrible and expensive the only good thing in my meal was the fries. The cost is expensive, I spent $ 21 bucks on a meal for two with no drinks. I could have spent the same amount somewhere else and got better food. The lines are long and not worth the wait, you have to wait to order and then wait to get your order so if you are starving do not come here . The décor inside is nice but that is about it.

This is my best suggestion for a meal in Universal, especially if you have kids. French fries are $ 2.99, which doesn’t feel like inflated theme park prices. The only reason I didn’t select 5 stars is because they wanted .54 for a packet of ranch dressing. At King’s Dominion, I could take 10 packets without any extra charge. the portion was decent. There are kiddie options that include mac and cheese. the artwork is fun and your kids will enjoy the fake explosions every 20 or so minutes. A bonus is being able to refill your souvenir cup here. The restaurant is on the water. The location is between Transformers and the Men in Black exhibit. I may have taken a giant handful of pickles just because.

Look at my pic and you won’t even have finish reading this review to understand the two star rating. But if you must … Bland burger. Ordinary fries. Need I say more other than amusement park prices! Adding condiments to the burger doesn’t really help as it’s a patty, cheese and a bun. Adding anything else only gives it texture and well, some taste but when the patty is bland … The restaurant does have one of those fancy coke machines which seemed to be a hit with a lot of people but I stuck to my free refills with my souvenir Transformers drink cup. Lots of places to sit though I noticed a lot of people just taking their food to go. Maybe they didn’t want to end up deaf with the loud music playing.
