Ok, who reviews a library right… this guy! I come here quite frequently. I manage to go more for the digital content as much as the physical content. They have an excellent selection on research material through their online databases and manage their internet accessibility very well. II think that the OCLS has done a great job with digital migration compared to other cities I have been in. If you haven’t been in one in a while then stop in. Their children’s selections are packed with goodness. Though the selection may vary in other branches I usually find what I am looking for or a comparable substitute.

The staff here is great. Everyone is helpful and friendly. A really good choice of books, DVDs, and CDs are available here. The Internet stations seem to be full quite often, and there also seems to be a variety of classes offered here. Sometimes visitors can be a bit loud here, but perhaps the days are gone when knowing that libraries are for quiet time.

I have recently discovered the Library system!!! no more redbox for me. They have up to date movies that you can rent, due back in a week… unless you go online and get and extention(which is very helpful when you forget to turn them in at the last min). They have a wide variety of books for children and adults, and if they dont have a book you want/need, they can send it to your house. There are numerous libraries in Orange County, and you can return your items at any of the locations. Every one i have been to, the staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever questions you have(and i always have alot) They also have computers you can use, free of charge for members. The computers have an hour time limit to them, with a 2 hour max per day… but hey… its free!

Boy. Libraries have changed. Free Internet, books, CDs, movies, and, best of all, audio books on cd. For those of us road warriors, getting a pricey book on CD to listen to makes all the traffic completely tolerable. OK, a book on CD, and a nice cup of your favorite non-alcoholic beverage in the cupholder. If you hit this library, you’ll see less and less of those old musty things with words on them that made libraries famous. More and more people reading periodicals, or surfing the net, using Library equipment, or their own laptops. I’m thinking that a LOT of people use this daily as a pleasant place to burn off a few hours where there’s lots to read, a coke machine, and a clean restroom, while waiting for the overpriveleged offspring to get out of private school, or something. But, you’ve got to check out the huge selection of DVDs(especially the TV shows), CDs, books on CD, etc. It’s a winner. Enjoy!
