Drinks were imaginative. The spiced Bourbon especially. Desserts were superb. The pork entre was a little dry, overall the food was very good. My dates lobster bisque blew her away. Service was a little slow and less attentive than one would expect from this type of restaurant. Atmosphere in general was excellent, everyone was enjoying the experience.

Worst experience ever! Read all the good Reviews here on Unilocal and wanted to have a drink. The venue looked nice from the outside and when we entered it also looked from the inside. Atmosphere with piano music a bit overdone, but OK. But then you are standing at the entrance and waiting to be seated. But nobody of the staff comes to you! So we kept standing there until some of the waiters, lady behind the desk noticed us, but everybody just ignored us! Not one preso but at least 5 of them! We never felt so humiliated in our life! So don’t go here, it is a very cold place with even colder people!

My husband and I had reservations on February 13th to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Let me start by saying, the food was very well prepared. Good job Chef! Now that I have the best part of the evening out of the way, let me tell you what spoiled the night. The waitress and servers were very polite; however, from the moment we sat down, we felt like we were waiting entirely too long before being greeted at our table, and during the night the waitress was not very attentive. We had a lot of time to people watch and noticed that others were not being tended to by their waiter or waitress as they should have either; a lot of patrons staring of with a blank look. The servers were«continually» trying to serve food to the wrong tables. They appeared very disorganized and acted like it was their first time. One server placed a meal on a nearby table, lit the meal on fire and made a great presentation, only to learn that it was for the table beside the people he served. After giving the wrong table this great presentation, he simply placed the meal on the table of the people who ordered it and walked away. At one point I heard this loud noise like a cart being wheeled past, I turned to look and noticed that they were wheeling trashcans through the dining room. Needless-to-say, for the money spent, I expected a much better dining experience. At least the dinner was good, but I will not be back.

I like this hotel! Very expensive, but if you’re on the company’s dime, why not! Their free valet and hailing app is very convenient. The Boheme restaurant I have enjoyed each time I’ve stayed at this hotel. There is this one dersert, apparently seasonal, that is a must have! It’s like a cookie pie with fresh whipped cream and berries… someone tell me what it’s called and how to make it!

My husband made reservations for Valentines Day, he found and selected this restaurant based on the rating and pictures, we’d never been here before and are big foodies so a new place is always exciting for us. We are pretty easy going and open minded. We enjoy a good roadside taco stand just as much as a formal sit down«wine & dine». Let me mention that it wasn’t all terrible, the hotel is beautiful and seductive. We sat at the bar until our table was ready and had some cocktails. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was inviting and not at all stuffy or stuck up. When our table was ready, we were seated by the hostess who was very nice as well. We were immediately greeted by our server, whom poured our champagne and brought our starter. So far we’re off to a great start. The seating was comfortable, but not very private, nothing that would ruin your experience though. We aren’t fussy or high maintenance people; however, when your paying close to $ 100.00 per person there are certain expectations. First out was a cheese and meat tray, which was really good. We ordered an additional starter of the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, because a lot of the reviews we read noted this as being very good. It was fair, compared to Wagyu Beef we’d had in the past. Our other starters came next and they were tasty at this point I have no complaints. Next our main course, my husband ordered the Bison Filet and I had Chilean Sea Bass. The flavors were there, but what took away from the dishes was they were precooked. Similar to what you’d find on a cruise ship. His filet was tender, but room temperature… the seasoned butter they dolloped on top wasn’t even melting. My dish had a rustic presentation and also had great flavor; however, the fish was rubbery I’m guessing from also being precooked. Both dishes would have been on point if they had been cooked to order. Honestly, I’m not sure why they made the call to prepare in advance unless they were worried about wait times or just wanted to get everyone in and out. Either way at $ 100 per plate I would think they could at least cook the main course to order. The dessert isn’t worth mentioning. I don’t want to criticize the skills of the chef or kitchen staff, and I won’t even pretend to know what it takes to coordinate a 4 course meal for a dining room full of people. But I have been to many restaurants that are somehow able to manage it. I would describe this experience as overpriced cruise food without the cruise; and therefore, would not recommend it to anyone.

What a beautiful hotel and restaurant, so perfectly decorated and the bar is gorgeous. The restaurant was amazing from to start to finish, but what really added to our outstanding dinner was our server Samuel He was so helpful and professional but at the same time he was so warm and personable. He gave us exceptional service, so if you decide to go(which I highly recommend you do!) make sure you ask for Samuel

Hands down, this restaurant offers the nicest brunch in Central Florida! The Boheme’s Sunday Jazz Brunch is a special ordeal, with live music, endless food and mimosas, and upscale ambiance. The food is as good as it gets. You’ll find a variety of different food stations, including: — A seafood stations with crab legs, raw oysters, shrimp, crab cakes, etc.(SOGOOD!) — A carving station — A pastry and dessert station — A station with classic breakfast foods — A cheese and charcuterie station Plus, there’s an additional menu with items made to order, like eggs benedict, salads, soup and more. If a mimosa isn’t your thing, just add on a Bloody Mary for a few extra bucks. At $ 45 per person, this is a pricier brunch. But most other brunches don’t include live music, carving stations and fresh shellfish. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a special brunch experience. Unlike other brunches in town that include endless mimosas, this one would appeal to nearly every age, with jazz music instead of house music. So bring your friends or bring your grandparents… and be sure to wear your fat pants.

Heard all the rave about the crab cakes and had to have them. I loved that they were all crab and not full of bread crumbs. The sauce that accompanied them was delicious. My main course was the pork tenderloin. The pork was was average but the vegetables sides were very uncooked and seasoned. Good thing for the it had a sweet sauce to save the day. For dessert I had the espresso cheesecake. Nothing exciting, could have purchased from the local baker and enjoyed it more. After the appetizer nothing else could compare. However, I loved the feel of the place. The ambience was amazing, sexy, relaxed and romantic all rolled into one.

I feel like this review could be titled after the classic Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The experience at The Boheme had some bright spots but was mostly a miss. Our company reserved the Wine Room for our corporate Christmas party tonight. To set the ground work for understanding the experience, the Wine Room has to be reserved in advance and the minimum expenditure is $ 1,000.00. We had 12 people fit comfortably around the table. You could potentially have 13 if someone sat at the head. The room is narrow with mirrors on both ends. I assume the name is derived from the one wall of wine bottles behind glass that you walk past to get into the room. Our server came and offered to take our drink orders while we waited for the entirety of our group to arrive. We all ordered either wine, beer or cocktails. I ordered the Bohemian Cider. The drinks came back. Well, everyone’s but mine. The waitress took the second round of drink orders for the other half of our group that arrived and brought their drinks. I then requested mine again. I never received an acknowledgment that my drink was forgotten. It was as if I never ordered one in the first place. Next, we ordered a variety of appetizers for the table. Of those ordered, I tried the smoked salmon crostini, roasted bone marrow, wagyu beef carpaccio, and the bohemian hunter’s board. The wagyu beef carpaccio was hands down the best appetizer. The beef was melt in your mouth tender. Definitely the star of the entire meal. I had never tried bone marrow before and all I can compare it to is fat, beef fat in particular. Not sure I could eat a whole appetizer of it. Fact: I know I could not eat an entire appetizer of it. The salmon crostini was also tasty, buttery and fresh if those two terms can be used together. We ordered our main courses. My co-worker next to me was going to order a chophouse steak that comes by itself, no sides are included. Our waitress promptly tells my co-worker, «I’m going to get you the cambozola filet mignon since it has sides.» Sides are available to order a la carte which my co-worker could have ordered but never got the chance to because the waiter interjected and changed the request. I then ordered. I got the Alsatian Choucroute Garnie which is the German sausage platter. I asked our server what side she would recommended. Her response: «You don’t need a side.» And she took my menu. She said the same thing to my co-worker across the table from me. We ended up ordering a side anyway because we wanted one and asked for the sweet potato fries. The main dishes came out and I had to remind our waiter again for our side of fries. My platter was much too greasy and I could hardly eat it. My boss got the same thing and he said he could not eat it either. I decided I would take it home anyways just in case and asked if I could have extra mustard for my to-go container. The waitress just stared at me and did not respond. My boss, however, kindly offered me his left over mustard which I accepted because it was an awkward situation. The waItress never offered to get me a small side of mustard for my leftovers. Other instances we had were, we never received refills of our water pitchers(there are twelve of us!) and one person wanted to order coffee and the waiter was quite upset with this request as well. I do not like writing these kinds of reviews. I enjoy trying new restaurants and spots around Orlando and seeing what the town has to offer. Any one who has spent any time in Orlando knows that The Grand Bohemian is the premier hotel downtown where the elite and the stars come to stay. The service should be flawless and the food impeccable. Unfortunately, they were not. I felt like a nuisance and that we were always asking too much. Did I mention that the minimum for the room was $ 1,000.00? The guaranteed tip alone was going to be well worth the server’s three hours of time. I have worked in the restaurant business and in catering, serving at high end events and private parties. You have to bend over backwards for your guests and put your best face forward no matter how you personally feel about the situation. There was some good tonight(shout out to the wagyu beef carpaccio!); however, the bad(greasy food that was uneatable) and the ugly(service/waiter — don’t tell the customer that they don’t need a side or that you are going to give them something different off the menu when they want something else) completely outweigh any positive that was experienced tonight. I would not recommend this to other companies for their corporate parties and I would not recommend it overall to friends who what a fancy or romantic night out. There are other places around town that have delivered better service and food for less cost and hassle.

Unlike most people who visit Orlando; I don’t come for fun; I come for business. I am busy personal injury trial lawyer. This hotel is perfect for my needs. It’s located near both the state and federal courthouse. It’s also walking distance from my favorite cigar bar; and a great movie theater. I really like the service the Décor; the ambience– and the food. It’s really an amazing place– and I highly recommended for the busy business traveler visiting Orlando. This week I was there and shared the hotel with the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. So if it’s good enough for Kobe– it’s good enough for me– and probably good enough for you too. Looking forward to seeing you at my next visit to this great hotel. And there’s a world class art gallery in the Libbey – which is worth a visit on its own. Ask for Riley.

A true 5-star experience! Reservations are recommended, but not required for their Sunday Jazz Brunch. When you walk in, you pass the scrumptious buffet on the way to the hostess station and the jazz pianist and woodwind player are in the center of the room. The décor is vibrant, colorful and amazing paintings anoint the walls. Along with the buffet, there are endless mimosas and and a la cartel menu. When my parents and I went, my dad ordered the braised pork belly and my mom and I ordered the mushroom quinoa soup from the menu(again, these great offerings are included in the price of the buffet). The actual buffet has a few«action stations» that change each Sunday. This time, they made crab cakes made to order, omelets made to order and mini-Belgian waffles made to order. Aside from these action stations, there were king crab legs, fresh shrimp, oysters Rockafeller, lox and other fresh seafood offerings. On the other side of the buffet, there were an assortment of antipasti, such as sopresada, port soaked cheddar and pickled artichoke hearts. There was also perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, fingerling potatoes and sausage, roast beef sliced to order and a host of mini-desserts too good to pass up. With every bite, my parents remarked, «Oh my goodness — this is so good!» The service was impeccable and our waitress anticipated our requests. We didn’t feel rushed and our dirty plates were taken the split second we finished the contents of the plate. It’s no surprise that they received a nod as «best brunch» as well as other accolades!

I’ve always wanted to try this for dinner as I hear their brunch is top notch! I came with some of my friends from work for magical dining. We had reservations for 7PM and when I arrived the host advised they were just cleaning off the table and if I had a seat in the bar, he would text me once the table was ready. Bar… Wine… Friends hadn’t arrived yet, NO problem! My friend trickled in and I got the text about 15 – 20 minutes later. A bit longer than just ‘cleaning of the table’ but we were chatting in the bar over wine, so no biggie. I’ll start off to say our server was excellent — she was attentive, nice, and quick to make thing better when they just weren’t right from a food perspective, so service-wise, I’d give them a 4.5 stars but the food was a different story. We kicked it off with two of the $ 33 bottles of cab blend for the table which wasn’t a bad deal. We started with the crab cake appetizer which was decent, though not much searing so it seemed a bit too soft in the consistency but the flavor was good and the amount of lump crab was better than others I’ve had — or maybe I was just starving? For entrée, I opt’d for the Salmon dish but held the olive tapenade which I’m so glad because my friends said it was very strong and salt overkill. The salmon was cooked medium but the huge chunk of random feta(I only had one) banana peppers and mealy tomatoes was an odd combination — it just didn’t come together for me. Where it gets bad is the dessert… my absolute favorite part of a meal(well…next to the wine that is). It was called a Nuetella Molten Lava cake. The first round were cold so our server immediately tried to rectify the issue by saying she would bring out fresh cakes. Mind you the first round was not only cold, but there was no molten, in face the inside was completely dry. Round two… ding, ding. We joked they probably would microwave them. We should not have joked, as that is precisely what they tasted like. Microwave cakes with yet still no molten center. There was a smear of Nuetella under the sad little cake. Took one bite and just left my sad microwaved hockey puck. And strangely the fire alarm went off during the meal, it turns out the birthday sparklers they brought to someone’s table set off the alarm — guess it’s a good thing they weren’t tied to an overhead sprinkler system. I can’t imagine they haven’t had that occur with sparklers before — why keep doing it. Oh well. I’ll stick to the Boheme for brunch because clearly that is their forte.

I’ve only come here for lunch as my office is right across the street. A co-worker had come for the Magical Dining Month and said she really enjoyed it. It was 5:15 and we walk in and the hostess said they aren’t open until 5:30 so my friend and I walked over to the bar and grabbed a drink. It actually took a while for the bartender to make it over to us though the place wasn’t super busy. We then wandered back into the dining area around 5:30 and got seated. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to us. I ordered the crab cake as my appetizer and though it’s only one cake, it was very good and didn’t feel like it was all filler ingredients and actually a crab cake. I chose the fillet of beef which again was delicious and was cooked at the right temperature I asked for being medium rare. My friend and I then shared the cheesecake and nutella lava cake. Though I was very full at that point I couldn’t stop eating the lava cake. I don’t go to too many restaurants that are located in a hotel but this is definitely one that I would. The food is good and service is great. Just don’t come before 5:30 for dinner! Haha

One of our family members was celebrating a birthday so we all chose to meet up at The Boheme for Brunch. The others arrived first but when we arrived, the valet quickly took care of the car and off we went to meet up with the others. As we made our way to our seats we walked past the brunch buffet and it was absolutely stunning. There was a pianist playing in the center of the room and it really made for a great brunch setting. As we walked to our table, we took in the artwork on the walls. The dining room is picturesque. We joined everybody and our server came and gave us the heads up on their brunch offerings and options. Once he took everybody’s drink order, we all headed to the buffet area. I elected to try a small portion of every item being offered. It took several trips. The Oysters and desserts were the only items I was unable to work my way through because I ran out of room. We also tried the lamb that was offered but not at the buffet and finished off the meal with Bananas Foster. Valet Service — 5 Presentation — 5 Server — 5 Omelet Station — 5 Prime Rib Station — 5 Waffle Station — 5 Buffet offerings — 5 Lamb Chop — 5 After our meal we returned to the valet service to get the car and it turned out that one of the valets recognized me from Unilocal. It is always great to run into a fellow Unilocaler while out and about. I requested that the young man that parked my car retrieve it for me and they were glad to accommodate me. From the time we arrived to the time we left, we were treated like royalty and those are the dining experiences you always remember. If you want a brunch experience you will never forget, The Boheme will do just that. My only regret is not being able to try one of the mimosas that the ladies were raving about.

The Boheme was on point for the food during Magical Dining Month but the parking cost situation was unexpected. Let’s talk about the food and the experience first. Four of us dined here for Magical Dining on a rainy Friday night. We had reservations but parked valet to avoid walking in the rain. I mentioned that we were dining in the hotel to the attendant, who informed me that the valet ticket could be validated at the restaurant. We arrived to the restaurant early and took our time to walk around to browse the art in the hotel. The hostess sat us at a table close to the check-in area and not even two minutes later, we were re-seated to another area in a corner. Not a big deal, and the seats were actually more comfortable. The server got us menus and drinks right away. We ordered a $ 33 bottle of wine offered specially for Magical Dining. The guys ordered some beers and we put in our orders for our three-course meal. The crab cakes and Minorcan clam chowder were ordered in pairs and we all enjoyed these apps. There was tons of crab in the crab cakes and the chowder had a nice flavor. We also copied each other on the main course. Two of us chose the beef tenderloin and the other two the pork tenderloin. The sides were more enjoyable with the beef — pureed butternut squash and Brussels sprouts versus lentils with carrots(which were slightly undercooked for me). The pork was in no way a bad dish, but we all mutually agreed that the beef was overall a better dish. For dessert, we had expresso cheesecake and Nutella lava cake. The Nutella lava cake disappeared from my plate with no trace of evidence left behind. Our server was overly friendly and the service was a little slow at times getting the dishes out. My husband told me later that he started getting dripped on by the air conditioning above him about halfway through the night. He didn’t want to mention anything because he is not a big complainer. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was good for a busy night. We returned to the valet parking and discovered that the cost was $ 15 for just over 3 hours. I mentioned to the attendant that we had dined at the restaurant, but according to the attendant, that was the reduced price! The cost for under 3 hours was slightly lower, but I was bothered by the fact that we were charged at all, especially when we had dropped a large amount of money on an expensive dinner experience. I will take part of the blame as I should have asked what the term validated really means(it does not always mean free). My husband quickly paid and tipped the attendant so that I didn’t make a scene in front of everyone. They asked if we wanted bottled water for the ride and my answer was yes absolutely. Would I eat here again? Yes, but I would avoid the parking. I am putting this in my review for the benefit of everyone to go park in a nearby garage or metered parking and have an extra drink because you just saved the money by doing so!

I visited for the first time this week for Magical Dining Month. Regular menu is a little pricey but $ 33 for a three course meal here was a no brainer! The décor in the restaurant is impeccable. Located inside the Grand Bohemian hotel, everything from the piano player in the lobby to the dining room was perfect. We were with a large group and sat in the wine room, which was a private mirrored room with a large table and seats for ~14 people. The private room definitely made the experience. Now on to the food: my first course was the crab cakes which were AWESOME. Probably the best crab cakes I’ve had ever. Second course was the filet of beef and I licked my plate clean. Third course was the coffee cheesecake which was really good. Other people around me got the lava cake which they said was amazing. All in all, great food and amazing classy restaurant. Service was slow but we had a pretty large group so it was A-OK!

This is going to sound lame but… What a lovely brunch! It was a nice change of atmosphere from the typical«Sunday Funday» get drunk AYCD champagne vibe you find closer to downtown. We really enjoyed ourselves. Service– awesome, attentive but not too in your face, champagne glasses were never empty Food– set price includes a buffet with cheese, dessert, eggs, sausage, hummus, bacon, salmon toast, carving station, crab cake station, omelets and waffles. There is also a shellfish station with oysters, shrimp, and crab legs. On top of this display you can order off the a la carte menu including eggs benedict, salads, soups, there was even a shrimp dish with orzo and bananas foster Beverage– set price includes bottomless mimosas with quality champage, not the cheap sparkling wine at most AYCD brunches; hands out awesome Vibe– jazz music playing, quant, cool tables, loved the art work, and free valet Bottom line– it’s hard to impress my dad and he can’t wait to come back!

I seriously just had some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. I am a foodie, so to walk away with belly so happy. Makes me happy. Our waitress Xiomara was on top of her game. The hostess was nice. Manager checked up on us twice. THEFOOD. Filet Mignon and scallops were perfectly prepared. Crab cake was fantastic. Crack cake! I got another to go. Smoking good ;-) ! They have a three course menu for 49 bucks. It is a full on delicious top notch meal. I will completely recommend to anyone. The only con I would say is they needed bread or rolls. Does not need to be complimentary but we felt it was just lacking that joyful gluten carbload touch to bring the meal to a high crescendo that would make it one of our favorites.

Finding the right words to describe my absolute delight at everything I’ve enjoyed here is almost impossible. When I got the final dates for our January meeting, I immediately popped onto OpenTable and made reservations. I couldn’t miss another shot at this place. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be swanky. From the moment you walk in, there is a rich, sexy red haze that hovers about. It gives me images of flapper girls and Sinatra-types. Is this the intention? Heck if I know. All I know is I love it. Giovanni took care of our party of 3. It was a Monday night and fairly early in the evening, so the place wasn’t exactly packed. I remembered the service was good during our first visit. Giovanni was just plain excellent. He really took it to another notch. What did he do? He listened. His timing was superb. He was incredibly gracious and professional. Now let’s get to the food. Ah! Ever have one of those meals that make you so happy when you’re finished you seriously contemplate doing it all over again? Yeah. That happens here. We started with the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Lump Crab Cake, and Escargot de Bourgogne. All were excellent, but the carpaccio was again simply STUNNING. The moment it starts to melt on your tongue, your eyes will roll back and the table conversation will drift to just noise. It’s beautiful. Instead of sea bass this time around, I opted for steak. We added mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for the table to split. They were delightful, but completely overshadowed by the steaks. The 28 day dry aged New York strip was incredible. One of my dining companions had the 14 – 21 day dry aged filet and proclaimed it the best filet he’s ever had. I should note that he is a VERY respectable source when it comes to food. Well-traveled and a very experienced restaurant guest, his proclamation raised my eyebrow. Bottom line — the steaks are a melt-in-your-mouth brilliant work of art. For the life of me, I can’t remember the exact name of our dessert choice. It was a newer item on the menu, some sort of bread pudding with cream. It was lovely, but in no way could compete with the carpaccio or steak. If I could do it all over again, I would probably try the Nutella Lava Cake instead. And I will do it all over again. As soon as humanly possible.

So New Years Day 2015… all I wanted to do was eat and crawl back into bed… thankfully(not) my libation loving friends insisted we include more alcohol in our breakfast plans and we ended up at The Boheme. Not complaining though as one of those lovely friends footed the bill for us all. Seems like The Boheme does a fantastic weekend brunch, and since it was New Years Day(a Thursday) they rolled it out ahead of the weekend. For $ 45 a person with unlimited mimosas, a raw bar(oysters, shrimp and crab), omelet station, waffle station, carving station, breakfast staples, salad bar, dessert station andddd a menu with several other items you can order this is a GREAT deal! So yes, I’m easily coerced and despite having a 3 hour drive back to Lauderdale I took part in some mimosas lol. We sat in the bar area of the restaurant and Chad did an amazing job keeping the glasses refilled and taking our orders for food off the menu. I’m a weirdo who thinks oysters are great hangover food, so I stuck mostly to them. But also indulged in the breakfast items such as the potatoes and the English sausages! The«action station» which I assume changes frequently was sauteing shrimp with an orange chimichurri sauce which also caught my attention. For whatever reason none of the menu items such as eggs benedict and the like caught my eye, so I stuck with the buffet side of things. If I was in the Downtown area of Orlando again I would definitely be back for brunch here! PROTIP — Check out the wine room by the bathrooms in the lobby!
