Second time here and it is amazing! I’ve have been trying to find a good Vietnamese resultant in Orlando since I move here a few years ago. And finally I did!

Best Vietnamese in town, best Vietnamese cuisine I have ever tried — have been to different places in town and out of town(DC, Nashville, Asheville, Austin and many other major cities) but Viet Garden has the best tasting dishes — my favorite is the chicken rice vermicelli but have tried many rice dishes, papaya salad, Viet garden salad, Thai dishes and so far every dish I have tried is delicious. The waiters and owner are super friendly and very nice and the service is great. I would recommend to anyone who wants Vietnamese food to try this place, it will not disappoint you

Viet garden is a wonderful restaurant, and probably the best vietnamese you’ll find in Orlando. They have wonderful appetizers(be sure to try the shrimp toast), and a wide variety of entrée options. My favorites are the vermicelli(bun) with pork and spring rolls, or the phở with steak. The food always comes out quickly, and the servers are very helpful.

Grew up on this food and still love it! The garden rolls with peanut sauce keep us coming back time and again. My wife can’t get enough of the sauce and could easily eat herself sick on it. Good food, great service, reasonable prices; what’s not to love?

I has just left work and was starving, driving around colonial looking for a place that would be open on Christmas. Lo and behold the Viet Garden! This place is amazing from ambience, service, and most importantly the food! Whenever I eat it’s all about the experience. I loved walking in through the back under a green awning with the dangling Christmas lights. I loved how the kitchen back door was open when you walked in and you could hear the hustle and bustle. The bathrooms made me feel like I was actually dining in someone’s house. The dining area is as you would expect. Glass top tables scattered between two rooms. Fake plants with little led lights in them. Painted murals of Thailand/Vietnam. Nothing fancy, but uniquely charming in that I really felt like I wasn’t eating in Florida anymore… My sever was very sweet and attentive despite having to deal with a rude upset table(they didn’t seem to understand the place was packed with two servers and probably 1 cook-doing their best on CHRISTMASNIGHT.) I ordered the Nam Sod, Garden roll, Pot stickers, Matsaman Curry with chicken, and the Panang duck. The Matsaman curry was ridiculously delicious. I found it needed a little more heat so I added the red chili paste they have on the table. It was perfect. Heaven. Just what I have always wanted in a curry. Hands down best curry I’ve had in a while. The Garden roll was and is probably my favorite food in the world. I love the chewy texture of the rice paper and the crunch of that first bite with basil. The peanut dipping sauce I would totally smother all over my body, or drink with a straw if I could. The pot stickers were phenomenal. Crispy on one side, sticky on the other. They are an umami explosion in your mouth. I was a little confused when the nam sod came out. What is this? It ended up being surprisingly delicious despite being on one color spectrum. It’s citrusy with a hint of ginger. The peanuts and lettuce add a nice texture and the onion give it the extra level it needs… I just finished off the Matsaman curry for breakfast and it was even better today so I felt compelled to write this. If you’re into Thai or Vietnamese or just like good food-I HIGHLY recommend Viet Garden.

It was Christmas Day, were on a short road trip, and decided on Thai for lunch. No Thai specific places seemed to be open, but Viet Garden was listed as having Thai items We were greated and seated right away. Water was at the table within a minute. It wasn’t busy, so it may not always be like this, but it was nice to see. Limited Thai selection, but then again, thr name isn’t Thai Garden for a reason I ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu and Dagi ordered a Yellow Curry meal with tofu. The meals came out very quick. So quick that we thought they were pre made and wouldn’t be fresh. We were wrong. The broccoli and carrots in my meals were very fresh, and the peppers and(I forgot) in her meal were also fresh. This is a thumbs up Pad See Ew is new to me. I am normally one that goes for much spicier dishes. However, this was enjoyable We would recommend this to others in the area

Very disappointed in this place. We waited over 2 hours on our food, and when it finally arrived, it arrived in batches, with each of our party getting their dishes anywhere between 10 min and 1 hour in between. The food was average. The massaman curry was too sweet and the noodles not seasoned enough. The server was apologetic and offered slight discounts; however overall, I was disappointed and not impressed.

I had ordered take out from here once before and it was not the greatest. I was craving some Vietnamese food this weekend and figured I would give this spot another try. This time I dined in. I’m so glad I did. Ordered the chicken summer rolls(very fresh) and the lemon grass beef bun. Ahh… it was very yummy to my tummy. Also ordered some house combo fried rice to go to have the next day. That was just ok. I think I will just stick the bun because that was a real hit!

It wasn’t anything new. I ordered Phở Tai and was a bit disappointing. Usually, after a bowl of Phở I’m super full, here I finished with a meh, probably smaller portions. The soup was watery and«dirty.» Dirty as in you can tell they didn’t skim off the scum while boiling the soup bones. It isn’t a clear broth. I hope I’m making sense here. It’s also a dollar more than other places. The resturant was clean and its asthetics nice but overall, not impressed.

Man, I could write paragraphs on how much I love VIet Garden. It has been our family favorite for over 15 years. Quite simply, when we get a hankering for a bowl of Phở, this is where it’s at. Best broth by miles anywhere in town. Oh, and don’t get me started on the Curry Chicken Noodle soup. Trust me, it’s soul quenching. Oh, oh… and the Yum Squid! You don’t want to order that. If I go there and, for some reason, you’ve ordered the last batch, I’m gonna have to challenge you to a thumb wrestling match. Yeah, you don’t want to order the Yum Squid. Love, Love, LOVE Viet Garden!!!

Love, love, love Viet Garden. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and the food never disappoints. I hardly ever order phở from here anymore as I always, always have to get their Tom Yum soup. It’s just that delicious. I also almost always order the Banh Xeo(no bean sprouts – can’t stand ‘em.) DH usually orders the Rice Vermicelli bowl with the grilled pork, egg roll, and shrimp with extra nuoc cham. We never leave feeling dissatisfied or disappointed.

This place is nice but don’t waste your time and money to order phở in here. Their phở and other VNmese soup was tasteless like noodle with water. No real VNmese foods. Never come back, Good Luck on your business if you have a better chef, and Have a Nice Day. Thank You

Great phở. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The staff is very attentive. Besides the garden rolls being a little small I would absolutely come back. Great dinner.

Had the pad Thai and it wasn’t good. I don’t even know why they call it pad Thai because it looked nothing like pad Thai. Just a slop of noodles and some chicken and shrimp. Also I wouldn’t get the ice water to drink, they fill the pitcher up from the sink behind the cash register. They could of at least put a filter on the faucet or something.

I found this restaurant to be quite delicious. Structurally it can use a few touch ups, but not there for the décor. The food was awesome. Quick and friendly service. Reasonably-priced. Kid friendly. Back to the food… I tried several dishes as we ordered several entrées and shared them, I must say that I truly enjoyed every bite from every dish… the sauces they make for the dishes are to die for and don’t worry they will give you mounds of rice on the side to sopp up all that yummy goodness. Definitely give it a try, you’ll be back I guarantee it.

No matter how I try to debunk Viet Garden as my favorite Vietnese in Orlando by trying other places, I never succeed. My favorite thing about this place– their sauces. Their chicken cashew nut is the best I’ve ever had. Try the summer rolls! Again the best I’ve ever tried, the peanut sauce is amazing! I took my family from out of town here once and every time they get local they want to come back! The interior is a little dated, but look past it, you’ll love the food and the service is consistently good!

This restaurant has been a staple of my childhood. This restaurant has been here since I can remember. The Vietnamese food here is top notch. It is frequented by many Vietnamese families, a sure sign that the food is authentic and of good quality. I normally order the phở and it’s probably the best I have ever had in Orlando. The beef is very tasty and tender. Service is good and they accept all major credit cards!

We have been to a few of the Vietnamese restaurants here in Orlando, and this is one of our favorites. The parking is behind the building off mills &50, you can either go in from there or walk to the front. Every time we have been here the service is always good and fast. Their Phở is really good and usually they add the meats, but you can request for them to bring raw for you to add yourself. Their potstickers & dipping sauce is amazing they have great flavors that will leave you wanting more. Prices are good for the amount of food you receive, and you may even leave with some leftovers like me because i can never eat it all.

Mmmmm, love me some Vietnamese food! I had the chance to check out Viet Garden yesterday and left full and happy. The service was great– not obtrusive at all. The server helped me decide to go with the BBQ pork summer rolls and it was a fantastic choice because they were SO flavorful and light at the same time. Viet Garden keeps it simple in terms of the presentation. There were no fancy frills on the plate or unnecessary garnishes– and that was fine by me. Next I got a bit risky and ordered the Tom Kah Kai chicken(Coconut-based soup). The server was a bit taken back and let me know that it’s a sour soup, but I’ve had a similar soup in other Vietnamese restaurants so I stuck with it. Unfortunately, his hesitation was pretty accurate as this one was legit sour and the smell and unusual taste was just not for me. I passed it along to my boyfriend and he gladly guzzled the whole thing down and really seemed to enjoy it. I then did the annoying girlfriend thing and commandeered his plate — the #44, Grilled Chicken with fresh lemon served with rice vermicelli. He had asked for a side of peanut sauce and I added a bit of that and hoisin sauce(the black/brown sauce on the table) It was delish! Overall a great light lunch, but next time I’ll take the server’s hesitation a bit more seriously! ;)

Quick service, filling food, what more can you ask? –Thai Iced Tea was ok– a little watered down? Not as strong as I like. -(41a) Grilled Combo Rice Vermicelli– good, although I should’ve asked for more of their fish sauce. Filled the craving, at least. -(25) Saigon Combo Rice Noodle Soup– I tasted a little bit of Dad’s broth– flavorful. Was quite full at that point so I didn’t get to try more.
