The main problem with this place is they think everyone coming in here is a tourist. A one hit wonder that won’t be coming back. No need to impress. They are not striving for repeat local customers. Used to go here several years ago and got sick of the same crappy service. Tried the fish and chips. Was on the greasy side. Trust me. Go ahead and try it and tell me I’m wrong. Thought it would be good after some of the reviews. Gotta pump your stomach afterwards. On a positive note, they have a lot of great beer options. Too bad they hire an 18 year old behind the bar that claims to only like bud lite. No personality. No experience. Why do you charge a premium to mix two beers? Astronomical charge of $ 7.25 a beer. «It’s what the computer says». You guys are greedy, untrained with your product, untrained in service, and stupidly not looking to please the locals. The ones that keep you going during the slow times. Easy for me to vote with my wallet and stay away. Good luck.

Great pub food in Ormond Beach. It is practically in Daytona as the south side of the road is in Daytona. Good food, and a great staff. Could beer selections and the bartenders make great mixed drinks. Ample off-​street parking. Great for lunch and dinner.

Stopped for dinner and the seating accommodations were very nice. Got to sit outside with our dog, which is always a big plus for me. Wait staff were very attentive. Beer menu was quite extensive. So why only 2 stars? Food just mediocre. Ordered crab cake special. Very small crab cake, bland, full of mayo and not fresh tasting. Sweet potato fries were ice cold. Hubby got shepherds pie which was cold bland and not well seasoned. Not horrible, not great either. Prob won’t be back. Prices reasonable but whatever I’m paying, I’m expecting good food. Is that to much to ask fellow foodies??

I dropped in for a group happy hour. They had a great beer selection and decent menu. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and it was very good. The service was good considering how large our group was. I think a couple folks order got lost but all in all I enjoyed myself and would go back.

My boyfriend and I came here on 4 different occasions during our one week vacation in Daytona Beach because we loved it so much! We only had dinner once and just had drinks the 3 other times. The beer selection is really good and reasonably priced too! They also have an awesome shuffle board and darts as well (which were the main reasons we kept returning). The wings we had were sooo good– cooked perfectly! Although we ordered medium, they weren’t very hot at all. Just wish they were a bit hotter but other than that they were awesome!

This place has a very large menu so you will have a large selection to choose from. Great happy hour very friendly staff. Their is a slight odor and the floor is mostly sticky in the few times we went the week I was in Daytona.

If no stars was an option I would have taken it. The food was terrible, but the worst part was waiting for over an hour for a kids grilled cheese and the place was dead when we arrived. If you have children stay away. No real apology just a thanks for letting me know about your wait from the manager.

Menu was way to big. I ordered wings medium heat. I got wings with a pool of this oily red liquid that was at the bottom of the basket. If that was the wing sauce it did not coat any wings and it was not hot at all, not even mild. My friend got the ribs and didn’t like them at all.

Black Sheep Pub is on our list of must visit eateries whenever we are in the area. The fish and chips are award winning for a reason — they are awesome! Year after year, everytime we stop in, at least one of us has the fish and chips; and every time they are perfect. Fish is flaky and moist, batter just right. Yum!
On this visit, I had the delmonico. Heavens was it good. Flavorful, cooked just as requested. The loaded baked potato was excellent, and our starter — spinach and cheese dip with homemade chips — was perfect.
This place could cut corners and ride the wave of an overwhelmingly positive oline reputation, but we didn’t see any slipping standards. Service was great, our glasses were never empty, and the waitress was cheerful. Not a surprise, but we will be back again, before heading home.

Some of the slowest service I’ve ever had. The waitress didn’t seem to care at all about her job. When asked what the daily soup was «I don’t know. its tomato with little noodles in it.» What, spaghettios? When asked how the veggie burger was made and if it was any good, he couldn’t answer and told us «The cooks will say it’s good cause they’re just cooks». Had to ask two or three times for the check. took at least a good half hour to get it. The was decent though, if you don’t mind aging while waiting for it.

Walked in and the smell put us off immediately. Our server was drunk. The tables around us were still waiting for food as the server offered anther round while they waited. Our feet stuck to the floor as we walked to the bathroom. We chose to have our drinks and leave as we saw the dishes served to the tables around us. I remember the building was an old Bennigans from 35 years ago. More upgrading is needed. Seemed like a regulars bar where no one cared about good dining.

Food was good and plentiful. The waiter was great took our 3 orders without writing anything down, and there was alot we ordered!

Th e we very accommodating when i asked to change the channel to the game i was interested i watching.
They have shuffle board and a very authentic english pub atmosphere.

A group of 3 of us ate lunch at the bar on Monday at 2pm. Needless to say it was dead. Just us and a few regular patrons. The bartender was pleasant. The food was also very good I ordered the fish and chips and the other guys got burgers. All of it was great.
I highly recommend eating here. We may go back again before we leave.

The place was empty at happy hour which should have been my first sign.
The second sign was that the waitress knew nothing about her menu which is inexcusable. Every question we had, even the basic ones, she had to go ask someone else. We asked her what the sauce for wings were, she didnt know. When she came back we asked her what they used for the ‘hot’ sauce because we hate Tabasco and we didnt want to send them back. So naturally, she didnt know. When the wings came out they were terrible and covered in Tabasco. We exchanged them for the Parmesan garlic which tasted nothing like garlic or parm. although they did have a very nice butter sauce on them with a slight hint of garlic. The wings themselves were really tasty, like REALLY good! I should had just ordered more of those really.
I ordered the fish & chips and my husband had a burger. The burger was dry and over cooked. My fish and chips were really tasty. The fries were boring.
If I ever come back here I’m getting wings hands down. Hopefully their sauces will improve.

Terrific food & very reasonable prices. Treat yourself to some wings cuz… they rock!

Ate here on a trip to Daytona Beach. Short trip down from the main part of Daytona but worth the drive

The place to come for a bit of a British taste in the beach side. Not bad but not impressive. Overall good fish is good but the chips are just OK. The beer selection is nice with several not very common choices from Europe. Afterwards you can walk across the street to the walk the beach.

Stopped in for lunch and a few drinks on Saturday afternoon the place, was wasn’t very busy saying that I found it to be less than I expected. Although the service was good and they offer a nice selection of beers the food was meh at best. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and found them both to be somewhat disappointing.
The Hot Corn Beef Sandwich with Swiss tasted like deli meat on toasted rye the cheese was very sparse and the lunch meat was barely heated through I should of asked but I assumed this would of been hand sliced off a freshly boiled corned beef. I definitely can’t recommend this one.
The French Dip was shredded beef on a soft roll we also assumed this would be something special unfortunately it was not a very good choice either, both were served with fries that weren’t anything special either.
I was impressed with the beer selection a lot of choice beers from the UK, so over all it might be a descent place to grab a few beers with friend we also tried a few margaritas they were just okay. I wish I had tried a few traditional dishes they offered. I did see a few orders in passing and they looked pretty delish. I also heard a customer mention that she was here for the liver and onion this might have been a better option because sandwiches don’t seem to be their strong point. I’m kinda middle of the road on these guys we may give them another try in the future.
