We have a large family so we don’t go out for fast food much unless we are traveling out of town for a quick bite. This is my second attempt to give this place a chance. Mind you the first time was just as horrible but i assumed after a 2 year break it might be better… nope. This place always screws up the orders. The receipts always show everything was ordered correctly yet it’s ALWAYS screwed up. First I’d like to point out that the texture of the meat was horrendous. It was this spongy unflavorful microwaved tasting mess… also a cheeseburger is supposed to have cheese on it jeeze! Ordered 3 milks for the kids and they gave us 3 pepsis. I ordered a diet Pepsi and it was regular. The fries with every combo were half full and old tasting. The cookie dough shake was pretty good but the whipped topping was super fake tasting. Needless to say I will never return. The value of what you get and what you paid for is not in the same ballpark.

They NEVER get an order right! Seriously! EVER! Don’t bother trying. They just are not competent enough to put out a correct order.

While using the drive thru to order lunches, ordered a 12 piece chicken nuggets, Chicago dog onion rings, spent 18.00, and when I asked for ranch dressing for the onion rings. …they wanted to charge me an additional .27? There was no ketchup in the bag, why on the earth do they charge for dipping sauce? ??? I just spent 18.00!!! Well, I won’t be back, they just lost a good customer!

Corporate food tastes like a dirty microwave. Shakes and drinks are good but only worth it if you get them on sort of deal. The staff seems OK, they just have no ability to get orders right.

Went there after looking online to see what time the closed it said 1:00am so its 11:30 we decide to go. We live in Chico so we get there at 12:09 it looks closed the window sign says open until midnight or later. So in the drive thru they say they are closed so we say but the sign says later she says 12 so we never got sonic and probably won’t go there again.

Living in San Jose, going for a quick bite at Sonics isn’t normally an option. The only time that it’s realistic, is when I either go shopping at the outlet stores in Gilroy or if I’m on my way to Southern California. With that being said, I have been to Sonics about 20 different times. Not 1 of those times was as bad as my 1 visit to this particular Sonics. While some of this review is out of their hands, some could definitely be worked on. Let’s start off when I pull into one of their ordering stalls at 9pm. Spider webs everywhere! Oh look, there’s some actual spiders, too! I ain’t pressing the order button! In fact, I’m closing this window NOW because there’s little bugs flying all over the place. I’ll just go thru drive-thru instead. I pull up to the speaker, roll down my window, and place my order with the speed of an auctioneer’s voice, so I can close my window again. Done! I am now the 3rd car before the window, when my daughter screams, «SPIDER!» It is at that time I have a minor heart attack. Luckily, my courageous wife killed the spider for me. Extra tater tots for her! But, before that, food. And, I better get the food fast, too because there’s a light right above the drive thru window(light=mosquitos). I pay and roll up my window to wait for the food. Then, I roll it down so they lady can give me my drink. Roll it back up. The rolls back down to hand me the straw. Roll back up. Roll back down, so she can tell me they don’t have apples for the kids meal. Fine. Roll back up. Then, roll back down, so she can ask me if I want ketchup(without even getting the food yet). Then, I get the food. Peace out, bugs! I get back to my parent’s house only to realize that they forgot my Coney Island hot dog. Nice job, guys! My wife shared some of her hamburger with me. Cold hamburger, that is. French fries, soggy. Tater tots, were ok, but the onion rings had a funny taste to them. Also, my strawberry cream slush had«crunchy» bits in there. Kind of like freeze dried strawberries, which maybe they use. A definite disappointment than what I’m used to. The one positive I will say is that the employee who helped be did have a good demeanor. But, unfortunately, no amount of good customer service skills will get me to go back to this location.

The place is ok but I won’t be coming back. Every time I go to this location they take 20 minutes to cook our order. The food is usually half cold, at least the fries or chicken wings… very bland food and they almost always forget one or two things. Last time we sat for 25 min for our food and it came and they didn’t put napkins or sauce for the order that says on the menu that it comes with frosting. We didn’t get straws for our drinks and I had to call the lady over like 2 – 3 times. When our food came they forgot a drink that I had clearly ordered. I said two of those please. It’s just silly how bad a company can look by poor service and bland food.

Ok sonic, you used to be good but now the slushy isn’t slush and the chicken strips are chicken bites… third time in a couple months that we have been dissapointed. Take lessons from the Anderson sonic on how a slush should taste.

Great service taking our order… You can order from your car and park, or actually walk up to the front and order from the Walk up menu standing! There were a lot of open spaces to park, drive thru was busy! They also have a few tables outside closer to the front of business. The Carhop girl brought out our Waffle Sundae cones and they were very good!!! The size was worth the price because they were big and the waffle cone tasted great, fresh. The soft serve and toppings tasted great too! I am glad they are open until midnight! Wouldn’t mind getting a Snicker’s cone again :) and will be back …

For the occasional fast food fix, Sonic fills the bill. It’s better than McD’s, Burger King, and also the waaayy overrated In N Out burger place. Just stick to basics as you always should when doing fast food… don’t screw around ordering weird shit. Get the #1…Cheeseburger, Fries, Drink. This is a good, fresh tasting meal for less than $ 7 bucks. And another thing… don’t be stupid and get tater tots instead of fries. Everyone knows fries are better than tater tots. It ain’t gourmet, its fast food. Don’t review it based on some ridiculous expectations.

The burgers are the best in town. It’s a little expensive than most but that’s why it is better, well to me personally. They also have one of the best shakes in town too! Super fast service. All you have to do is order from your car and wait, love how that works!

I always try to hit up Sonic during their happy hour(2−4pm) for half-off slushes. The food isn’t that great but I typically just go here for their drinks.

Worst grilled chicken sandwich ever. Tough chewy chicken, regular bun, and soggy. First and last time to Sonic in Oroville. Went expecting the same delicious chicken sandwich on a ciabatta bun I had at Sonic in Nevada last month.

I’ve gone here a few times. I am not really fond of the food and sadly not fond of their slushie drinks… And I love slushies. Also the last time we went I had some of the rudest service ever and then the girl gave me stale old room temperature fries. Everyone in my car was wondering why the girl was being so rude. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Not worth the drive or the money.

After a long hike at feather falls, I was soo excited to scarf down some food. The service is great, I looove that they still roller skate your order out. The food is ok, just your typical fast food, one up from McDonald, one down from in & out. Prices are more expensive than in and out but I didn’t really care since I was starving.

I go for the drinks! Happy Hour is the best part about this place. If I start trying now I’ll probably still never try all of the drink combinations. I am definitely a fan of the drinks and the desserts. As far as the food goes… it’s not good. It tastes cheap. I used to compare it to snack bar food, but now I think that would be offensive to snack bar food. I say stick to the tater tots and happy hour drinks!
