Odd reading the other reviews because mine was great. I was needing an eye exam and my current set of glasses were showing their age. I made an eye appointment for Sunday, did all the paper work and the visiting doctor was waiting for me. As for the eye exam itself, he was a no nonsese, straight to the point younger guy. He asked, I answered and I was litterally out of the chair within 20 minutes with a new prescription for lenses. I decided to use my old frames, so I was without them for about 6 days. They quoted 8 – 10 so getting them back sooner than later was nice. Given the other reviews are close to a year old and there’s been a change of management, I’d recommend to give them a try.

I really don’t even want to give the one star. We purchased 3 pairs of glasses for myself and my two sons, and one set of contacts for my husband. We tried to order contacts for me but they could not accommodate me. Instead of telling me this they kept me waiting for 3 months with promises of trial lenses. Either they did not correct my vision or they were on back order. No one would call with updates. I went 3 weeks with no word. I called and was told they would get back to me. They did… only to tell me that my trials were on back order. All of them? Erica the«store manager» assured me that they were going to be able to fit me. I also got a speech about how important it is to keep my vision records because this is just like a medical record. Hmmmm… I’ve been wearing contacts longer than she’s been alive not to mention I signed a release for them to obtain my records from my previous optometrist who I’d gone to for over 10 years. I believed her when she said that she’d handle my order personally. I thought we were on the right track. Then I stopped in because I hadn’t heard anything. Steve, a staff member, didn’t know anything about it. He went back and got Erica who assured me that my trials were coming. Again she suggested mono vision contacts. I told her I had done them before and really preferred bifocal contacts. Tired of not being able to see I gave in and called the next day to tell Erica to order me mono vision trials and I’d give them a try. Steve told me that Erica wasn’t there and he was very busy with customers who wanted to purchase glasses. And he added. that because of what happened the day before with Erica(huh???) he would not speak to me. What? I guess I missed something. That was the final straw. I tried to locate the headquarters… nope…some generic answering machine. I told them I wanted my money back. All of a sudden the«store manager» wasn’t allowed to give refunds. Finally she managed to refund me for the cost of the contacts I never received. I asked for my exam and fitting records since I paid for them and was told they they could only release them to my «new» optometrist. It took an Attorney General threat to get them to give me copies. These people are very unprofessional. It’s a shame because the optometrist was very thorough and very nice. She seems to know what she’s doing. It’s the rest of the staff that make this place bad news.
