Scoreboards Sports Pub

We had a certificate to use and thought we would give it a try. We sat at the bar and had real good service. Only one person behind the bar with several tables to wait on and she did a great job. Places scare me when they only have one server. Cannot believe Management who doesn’t want to pay staff! It was getting real busy in the early afternoon when we were done eating.
Food is extremely good. Fries, both regular & sweet potatoe were not greasy and loaded with salt! The cheezy beef which is one of their specialties was flavorful and cheezy as stated.
It is a large sandwich and on a great roll. We will be back if we are in the area.

Used a Groupon so it was 13.00 for 4 people to enjoy 4 hamburgers, fries and a drink. Christina was our server and she was friendly and on top of things. The food was great and my kids loved it. Great food and great place.

kind of a dive bar. Regular drinks, video gaming, and I haven’t really felt the need to go back. A lot of nicer bars nearby

This is a great place! Selfishly, it is very local to me and the music isn’t blaring so you can have a normal conversation with your friends and buddy.
Today was looking to just have a couple of beers and watch a few innings of Cubs baseball to decompress. Waitress was very attentive and friendly I had the «meat lovers» personnel pizza and it was very fresh and very good. I had heard positive reviews about the pizza and they were right.
I don’t normally give 5 stars but in this case it is deserved. The same friendly faces are here to serve you and they have great prices and specials on different days. If you are looking to relax and have a tasty pizza this is your spot. Thx guys!

I like this place. It has a fun atmosphere, pretty good food, and the staff is personable. Great place to grab some pizza, burgers, or a couple beers everything is priced affordable.

They had very good food for a sports bar &&& the service was great! Caitlyn R. is the best! Make sure you have her wait on your table!

Came to eat and watch the bulls game tonight and I have to say the service is pretty shitty. Food was ok.

Has good food, and cold beer. Not sure what everyone else is expecting from a Pub. The only ting that keeps it from getting a higher rating is the people who go there. There is such a range of groups that hang out, Such as pot heads, wanna be gangsters, old people, bar flys, Pearl Jam fans, and do not forget the hipsters. But I do enjoy the place and go there once a week.

I’ve been here 3 times now. The mac-​n-​cheese is totally homemade and you can add stuff like bacon and Giardiniera (the best combo ever!) The serving size will feed a small army. When you need some comfort food this is totally worth the million calories! There are domestic draft beer specials every month. $ 2 for my Coors Light today. The service was pleasant but I agree they need more workers. I’m sick of the chains all over so this is a nice alternative when you want some good bar food.

Scoreboards is your average dine-​in bar. Expect pub food. Greasy, fatty, fast pub food. Which is fine, but don’t come here looking for somethings super healthy. They do have salads and wraps (although doused in dressing). The fries are good! The beer selection is alright. I’m a huge beer lover. So I appreciate a variety of craft beers. If you have a big group that loves beer and hearty food this is a great spot.

This is the «go-​to» spot for my husband and I when we are wanting to have a beer and a bite to eat. We’ve had numerous different items from the menu and we haven’t been disappointed with any of them! The Scoreboards burger is exceptionally good, I might add.
Lots of seating at the bar and many tables and chairs! There are some game machines in the back as well as scratch-​off lotto ticket machines as well. Everything is kept very tidy and clean, including the bathrooms.
I noticed other reviewers complaining about the service. I have personally never had an issue with the service at Scoreboards. This place does tend to get kinda packed on weekends and game days, so PLEASE give your servers and bartenders a break. They’re busting their butts to take care of everyone at once. Drop the entitled «me first» attitudes and have a little patience.
All in all, I love this place. We usually stop in every couple weeks and we will continue to do so as long as we live in the area.

I am giving this place three stars, but really it deserves two. I am being kind because our food was good and our waitress was polite and did her best
A lot of the reviews indicate that this place has terrible customer service, but in reality, there is ZERO organization when it comes to the staff. There is no one at the door greeting patrons and the waitresses are also the bartenders, busboys, greeters and food runners. I am guessing the person who owns/​manages this place has ZERO prior experience running a bar. The servers are also difficult to identify because they don’t wear unitorms. Our waitress was very good, considering all the above circumstances
I will say that this place makes the best burger in the area. I haven’t had a burger this good in a long time. My wife ordered the Mac N Cheese and she was equally impressed with her dinner. The pork fries are nothing special. In fact they were a little disappointing.
I do want to return and try their pizza, which I hear is a favorite.

Ok start with the bads: the projector is so dim they need to upgrade you can’t even watch anything on it even in the dark! If you are not at the bar you sometimes wait quite a bit for service even when it’s not crowded. LOTS of TVs just some not placed nicely.
The goods: GREAT beer prices and great selection of craft beer and drafts. Good is surprisingly good, when the servers come to you they always are nice, tons of seating, lots of events, has a good local bar feel.

I wouldn’t call their food terrible but I definitely wouldn’t eat there unless I was hungover or at least halfway in the bag already. The biggest reason I don’t normally go there is because the service is awful. Every. Single. Time. If you do go, get the pizza… and go early enough that you are able to actually be served.

First time here. Was not terrible impressed. It seemed you had to know someone to get attention from the bar staff. And when you did get their attention it was extremely rude or short. The food was just as expected as normal bar food. If it wasn’t for a friends birthday would not have showed up here. Please pay attention to your paying customers.

I will start by saying this place would have gotten a better review! But! They broke a big rule in restaurant liability!
Stopped in for a few beers with a friend, been here before and liked it! 2^nd beer in and I cut my lip on a broken beer glass (it happens and is to be expected) but what followed, Damn near knocked the 2 of us off our bar stools! I Pointed out to the bartender that the glass was broke, she acted surprised (guess I look like I always have a bloody lip!) I showed her the crack and said «go ahead run your finger around the rim» she did and responded «that’s just a little knick» I said «little enough to cut my lip!» She looked confused (again probably the blood!) what happened next was crazy! She grabbed a glass and poured the beer from the broken glass to the new glass and said «here ya go!» (Maybe because it was still a full beer?) I’ve been around the block once or twice, but how did she not know that the glass was contaminated with broken glass? Clairvoyant? And you ran your finger around the rim of the glass to check for a crack! Makes one wonder do you keep the kitchen clean? Wash the dishes? Come on one beer won’t blow the budget! Train your people to better understand there responsibility, health concerns, and the liability of the business!

I really enjoyed the Fried egg burger!
Maybe I caught this place on a good day, but the food was great, or I was hungry!
I’ll be back, we’ll see what happens the next time…

Service was great and the food was delicious. Prices were on point and the staff was very helpful. The environment was very fun. Would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends.

A pleasant surprise… Beer menu is probably the best I’ve ever seen. It’s like 20 pages long. Many well made beers on tap with a wide variety of bottles as well.
The food is absolute crap though. Had nachos, the menu said topped with cheddar cheese… the cheese was that nasty processed crap cheese from a can. You know the kind, the kind your high school used for their concession stands nachos. I ate the veggies off the top and a few of the non-​saturated, un-​noodle soggy chips. It was a piss poor attempt at food. I was curious about other things on the menu, so I began to look around at other peoples plates. Idk, everything looked pretty bad. I overheard some other people at the bar joking about how bad their food was too.
There damn beer menu is so good though. I just don’t understand how one can have an appreciation for great unique beer, but serve such crap looking and tasting food.
The service is really excellent too… the bartender was almost mothering. Very nice girl. I would come back just to drink some beer or to have a cocktail.

An A-​OK place for sports and music and bar food — although their Mac & Cheese made to order is quite good! Perfectly sized and staged for musical performances — we’ve seen some surprisingly excellent musical shows here.
Elevated seating along side wall is great idea. Having to walk clear across to opposite end of bar for restrooms on busy night can be challenging.
Service is just alright — a bit inconsistent when busy, and it’s busy a lot. Servers are mostly cute young girls who seem mostly distracted with their appearances, their phones or each other. Also was served wine in a spotted glass which was remedied but took forever — our waitress said that all of the glasses were «that way» In our opinion, this should NEVER happen as it is indicative of overall cleanliness and routine procedures for same.
Overall, not bad for a sports bar.
