The ladies here were great! Huge selection. Greeted us when we walked in, started dressing room for my daughter, anytime they seen we pulled a dress from rack an associate quickly came and took it to dressing room. They allowed us the time to try on a LOT of dresses. Pulled some additional dresses even to try. Very attentive. Highly recommend.

This shop exceeded my expectations! This was the second store I came to, and I loved it. There is so much variety that it’s impossible not to find a dress. There are so many designers, a lot of styles, and a variety of price ranges. I cannot stress how amazing the staff was. They were incredibly helpful and super hands on. They aren’t pushy, and they even helped me pick out dresses. The nice thing about this store is the amount of space. Because it is two floors, there is more than enough room for the customers and dresses. Initially I went to Wolsfelts Prom in Aurora, but they didn’t have as much variety this shop. I will definitely be coming back.

I shopped at the Prom Shoppe all through high school and was in love with every dress I purchased. Even though I’ve outgrown the occasion, it’s still refreshing to be greeted by a great group of girls when I head to Bella-Gia. Keep in mind — Homecoming and prom seasons are especially busy on weekends, expect a wait for a fitting room. Bella-Gia’s selection and PRICE is hard to beat by other competing boutiques(online and in-store) carrying the same clothes. Stacy, Lindsay, and the rest of the girls always lead me in the right direction with clothes that fit my body and even help me step out of my comfort zone with fashion. Everything I own from there earns a compliment. Always trendy; priced right; honest salesgirls who make you feel confident in what you’re wearing!

A little disappointing. The only dresses available were VERY, very gaudy. Nothing at all plain and sophisticated. Very shiny. The salesgirls seemed very helpful, but not the same for the cashier. If the dresses aren’t enough to scare you away, the prices definitely will! Nothing appeared to be under $ 300, and the same dresses were at the mall for much less.

They completely ignored me the entire time I was in the store. I went in today looking for a dress or suit to wear to a wedding. I wandered around the store in the basement Prom Shoppe for about 10 minutes by myself — not one employee was there. I could probably have walked out with a dress if I wasn’t an honest person. Then I found my way upstairs where there was a flurry of activity: a Mom trying to wrangle her two toddlers as she tried on dresses, a gaggle of middle-aged women in the front of the store huddled together giggling about cologne… and another lone woman standing at the counter waiting to be served. She was ALSO ignored. I looked around that upstairs area for about another 10 minutes by myself and the entire time the other woman was standing there at the counter. I noticed someone finally said, «Have you been helped?» She replied no one had helped her. So what did they do? KEPTHERWAITING. I wish I was kidding. Not one person in the entire 20 minutes I was in the store looked over at me, let alone smiled, or breathed a «hello.» I was dressed casually but had my hair and make-up done and jewelry on… I looked like a shopper ready to try on clothes and buy something. Could I have asked for help? I suppose… but why would I spend my money at a store that ignores it’s customers? Maybe you need an appointment at this place? If so, they should prominently post a sign«shop by appointment only.» Or maybe they need a lesson in basic etiquette. I live in the same town and will never go back; I will also warn away all my teen daughters friends and their Moms to shop elsewhere for their special occasion dresses. DONOTSHOPHERE. Go somewhere you will be treated with respect.

We visited the Prom Shoppe today for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. It was a GREATEXPERIENCE! Plenty of dresses to choose from in many colors and styles. Price ranges tend to be on the moderately high side but not over the top. Size selection in store favored the 6 and up sizes but were able able to find a dress that my daughter loved in her size(2). Best part was dealing with Jen!!! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, honest, helpful and very efficient even when helping several girls at a time. It was evident she enjoys her job and is very good at it. We are grateful for her help and sense of humor! Makes the stress level non existent! Thank you Jen great job!!! Well done at the Prom Shoppe keep up the good work!!!

The Prom Shoppe in Oswego has had a fantastic reputation since I can remember ! I bought several of my prom and homecoming dresses there when I was OHS. It was the ‘place to go’ and it still is. Jackie was a great person, with a classy style. I think she would be proud that the shop has kept up that reputation ! I have purchased several dresses for my daughter at the Prom Shoppe or as we called it ‘Jackies’. We always ask for Jenna T. She is knowledgable, has a sense of style and adorable ! She always meets(remembers us) with warm smile ready to help us out. When you go there ask for her, she is all about customer service and will do her best to find you the perfect dress or outfit ! We love her and the Prom Shoppe ! Oswego was 3,000 people when I lived here… yes it is ‘past the loop’…but it is worth it, small hometown service with the big city selection !

Well, as a dad I can’t say that I have been to many prom dress stores. But I can say that«The Prom Shoppe» is a Beautiful Shoppe. Racks of beautiful dresses arranged by colors of the rainbow(see the couple of photos that I posted). I thought that all the people that I met inside were very friendly and helpful — not pushy. My daughter had already tried on every dress in the store during her last visit and chose the perfect one for her. Quite lovely(and glad I wasn’t there for the 1st part of the adventure). She thought the the staff was very helpful and not pushy — good for them! They also have some very nice guys clothing(non-formal) as well as tuxes for prom or that other special occasion. This place is a gem in the middle of where — Oswego(holy cow — who would have thunk).
