Yes I am a fan of the Phở! Although they can add more shrimp to their seafood one. come on only 2 for the large? Love their mango bubble tea!

First off, this place is not bad, but as far an authentic phở place is convened, it’s far from it. It’s more of a multi-purpose café. You order from the counter, pick up from the counter, and bus your own table, honestly I don’t know why they expect you to sign for a tip. I don’t mind paying at the counter at the end, as this is normal at many Vietnamese restaurants, I have eaten at dozens around the country. Also, a phở place that only offers 4 variety of phở, being: beef, chicken, seafood, or tofu is lacking a lot. No tripe, no meatballs, no rare brisket or well done brisket. In a region that does not have a huge viet base of people, maybe some down here in the suburbs don’t know the difference, especially if you are white, like myself. I know what good phở is, I’ve had it up and down the west coast. Anyways, it didn’t taste bad, and the serving was very large. Just kind of an annoying place that does not scream little Saigon to me. The portion was almost too large, I should have ordered the smaller bowl, and the quality of the beef is not on par with better places.

I have visited this casual café on numerous occasions since discovering that it offers authentic and fusion Korean fare. Love the food and prices. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

Great little informal place for phở or noodles, flavor, price… winner! This is now my 3rd time coming here, and I live 6 hours away. Anytime I come to Kansas City on business, I make my way down to this place for the phở. Chicken, beef, seafood, or tofu, all are worth rolling in for.

Went on a cold night interesting in some warm food. Unilocaled«Phở» and this place came up. It’s a super causal place that was full or people. Not super fancy décor but who needs that with a delicious bowl of ramen. I got the ramen and spring rolls. Checked out super cheap. Once I grabbed my order we plopped down and waiting for our food to get called. Holy shit, my eyes were a lot bigger than my stomach. Walked back to the table with a huge tray of food. The ramen was in a spicy broth. I also got some spring rolls. An order comes with two and they were huge. Overall 4 stars. The flavor of the broth was great. The price was on point and the serving sizes are huge. Check it out for some simple, good food.

Was in the area doing some Black Friday Shopping, and heard about this place the day before while getting fat with a couple friends. They really enjoyed their experience in this joint, so my girlfriend and I, being huge Asian cuisine fanatics as we are, just had to check this place out. It took a little bit longer than 2 minutes for us to place our order. I understand that with little staff during the Holiday seasons can be tough, but I would think at least a little acknowledgement, or a simple«I will be there with you in just a sec» woulda been nice and sufficient. Price wise, it was actually pretty acceptable. A giant bowl of phở for just abuot 8 dollars. A small is actually enough to make me feel satisfied. I don’t even want to imagine what a large bowl of phở entails. But those that dares, beware, for you knows not what fear of full from food is. When the food came, I was pretty excited. The phở taste different than my usual place(iphotower), but since I am not viet, I can’t say which one is more authentic, otherwise that would just be opinionated. But I take the bowl as it is, and decided that it is nothing short of delicious. It has a subtle spiciness without adding any of your usual sauces that accompanies the bowl of noodle soup. My spider sense is telling me that the spiciness originates from white pepper. But sweetness of the soup base that probably comes from MSG but its such a vital element that contribute to this bowl of harmony that you simply forget about the consequences of congesting MSG. Overall, it really is worth checking out. Taste wise, it’s a different take on the phở, but it has its own merit.

For my birthday one year, my mom bought me some sweet treats from Formosa Bakery. After one bite of the delectable tiramisu, I was hooked! I mean, hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Anywho, this bakery is located in Lawrence, Kansas, which is too far a drive for me; so I was very excited to find out that Café Vie started selling the Formosa sweets. So while I give this bakery and the tiramisu 5 stars, I give the café 3, because it’s simply okay. The bulgogi and a few other dishes are decent; if I wanted bulgogi, I would go to, perhaps, Sobahn or Chosun. I guess what I’m trying to say is if I was craving bulgogi, phở, or pad thai, this place wouldn’t be anywhere near the top of my list. I would come here to indulge my sweet tooth and order their food out of convenience.

Review is for the milk tea my hubby just got. It is A okay because from what I’ve tasted around town this is the norm in the taste of milk tea. I wouldn’t say this would pass as the absolute best in the Bay Area because it doesn’t even come close to comparing, but for the location being the Midwest this is decent. I didn’t care too much for the milk tea, because it was a slushy smoothie blended ice type. I much rather prefer actual liquid milk tea, but what can you expect. I would give them credit for the tea feeling a little strong on the caffeine so it wasn’t totally just powdered instant tea mix. I also have to preface that as I write the review I’m dreaming about Gong Cha milk tea so I apologize if I’m too harsh on my review.
