First Watch

Fresh squeezed juice: 3.5÷5 for flavor which is saying a lot since I don’t like carrot juice but I like orange and ginger do it was nice.
Coffee: ⁵⁄₅ A nice roast flavor but we needed sugar and cream because we’re babies
Avocado toast w/​basted egg: 5÷5… from Cali and I could never get this much avocado on that there and while it bums me out to think like that, it certainly made me happy while eating here.
Key West Egg Crêpe w/​potatoes & English muffin: ⁴⁄₅ the Crêpe was good but had too much sour cream and the salsa was whatevs (Cali here again, salsa anywhere here pretty much sucks to us). The potatoes had good flavor but were a little soft and we would have liked them crispier.

First Watch is simply in another league compared to most other breakfast spots. Skip the big chains and visit here for fresh and tasty dishes. Both healthy and indulgent options are available and you won’t be disappointed by either choice.
Very cool spot that is packed for a reason. Great for kids and a steal for what you get.

I enjoy breakfast any time of the day, and First Watch is one of my favorite places to enjoy it. Met some friends for lunch there today. Each of us ordered something entirely different, and we were all satisfied with what we selected. Made plans to return once a month.

Worst experience in a long time! Rude staff! We put our name in and were told there was up to a 30 minute wait. Checked again and were told 10 minutes. Checked again 40 minutes after originally putting in our name and were told 40 minutes.

This is my favorite restaurant … Great food and great service !!! The best part is they have healthy, natural food that taste great. Excellent service and the place is always busy because people come back to where they have a good experience.

Milan (server) was awesome and attentive.

The Trifecta was great, the pancakes were amazing (don’t get 3 unless you’re seriously starving) and everything was awesome.

I have never had a desire to go into this location simply because the outside is less than appealing. It’s just down the street from where we recently moved to so we decided to give it a try. I was so surprised at what we found on the inside! The décor and atmosphere is amazing. The service was great and the food was good.

Don’t like the new décor, hate the new seats (especially the high-​tops). Service has suffered during and after the remodel, and menu prices reflect the new upper-​scale décor.

Pretty darn good. So close to my house, I Wish I would have found this place sooner. I had the chicken enchilada dish (forget the name) it was very good.
I did have the potatoes, they were good, slightly salty.

The food is always good, healthy and plenty of it but the best thing is the staff! Their attitude is always positive, friendly, helpful, and proactive and one of the reasons I enjoy breakfast there is I always leave in a better mood, ready to conquer my day.

Food has always been consistently fresh and delicious. Service, however, can be lacking at times. I dine here often, and at times, several wait staff are seen standing around, doing nothing. My last experience here had me waiting for 10 – 15 minutes before wait staff even came to acknowledge our table.
The locations have also recently remodeled. Remodeling looks modern and clean.

I had breakfast here without knowing exactly what I was getting into. The price of the items looked to be quite acceptable given the portions, but I was surprised by the quality of the food.
The eggs were noticeably real and fluffy. I had the Cajun omelet with the Santa Fe sauce. The sauce assisted in making the already well-​flavored omelet delicious. The mushrooms were cooked to the point that they did not lose any flavor but had the right texture, not-​rubbery nor mushy.
The English muffins were perfect, toasted brown and coated in butter, crispy without a bit of blackened edges that so commonly can be found from being in the toaster too long.
The staff was helpful and friendly, but quite busy. Understandable, and any qualms I would have was settled by the seemingly fresh orange juice.
I decided to try the chocolate chip pancake as well. Ordering just one, thinking that the portions would be relatively average, I found it to be quite large and feeling. It was not a denser pancake, simply large and fluffy. The chips were melted to the right level, and the bottom was not burned at all (a feat for most given the chocolate chips).

I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at First Watch when my wife and I ate here the other week. I had the Pumpkin Pancakes, which were awesome! My wife had the Beefeater and Pecan Dijon Salad, both of which were good as well. We also had a chance to try one of there juices, which was delicious.
I would definitely put First Watch ahead of a lot of other breakfast places including the nearby IHOP and Denny’s. They have great food, fast service, friendly and helpful servers. There are also a lot of different and unique breakfast options, many of which I believe are original creations and from what I have tried, all of there ingredients taste very fresh. I’ll be back and would recommend as well.
The only negative that I can think of is that they have limited hours, closing in the mid afternoon most days I believe.

Good food. Sat at their community table. I’m not giving 5 stars because of the service. Had to ask for water, silverware, and correct the wait staff when the wrong bill was brought to me. Otherwise, I much enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food and the prices are reasonable for the area.

My husband and I were looking for breakfast places near us one day and decided to give «The Watch» a try… AMAZING! Not only were the staff pleasant and offer great customer service, but the food was phenomenal. I loved that they offer a lot of variety and whole food options. The prices were also very reasonable!

The food was great, décor is nice, the fresh juice was delicious. Our server Suzanne (I only know her name from the ticket, she didn’t even say hi) was rude and not very helpful. Just hoping a manager reads this, because I honestly would have rather had self service than have her make me feel like a jerk for troubling her for water.

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here. Between a friend and my self we split three HUGE banana granola pancakes, bacon and onion hash, and a sausage biscuits and grave menu item with two coffees and an orange juice for $ 31.
The pancakes were fluffy, the hash was well seasoned, and the sausage biscuits and grave hit the spot. Our serve was very well mannered and checked in with us at the right times, not shoeing us out the door. I would certainly return here if I was not visiting over a weekend.
I feel most people hand out 5-​star rating too easily, so this is good praise from my personal opinion.

What a great find. My wife and I were on a cross-​country trip and stayed in Overland Park for the night. We found First Watch on Unilocal and boy, are we glad we did. Found a great, healthy breakfast. I ordered the Healthy Turkey omelette and my wife had the Traditional Breakfast. Neither disappointed.
The food was fresh, the eggs are cage-​free and my omelette was super tasty. My omelette came with fresh tomato on the side, which I didn’t realize and it isn’t my favorite. Our server swapped the tomatoes out for a cup of fresh fruit without even asking. Coffee was good, service was great!

Update: do not order the veggie burger. It is mushy and definitely frozen. But they were awesome about changing it for something else after I made a comment to the waitress. Excellent service!
I am a picky eater when it comes to my breakfast and brunch, and I love this place. Food: delicious, well cooked, use local when possible, big plates, big coffee mugs. Service: have always had different servers and they were all great. There is always a wait time on sundays for brunch when we go, but it is never as long as their estimated time. Grab some free coffee while waiting. Location: in a shopping center, so its easy to find parking. Do not be fooled by their decoration. It is really plain, so it can be shocking on your first time, but after your food arrives, that won’t matter anymore. Have nothing bad to say about the place. Love it! Personal favorite: too many to pick. Never had a bad thing here.
