OK… so keep in mind this was based on a single experience that was a company dinner. We sat outside on a blistering hot summer evening with no shade whatsoever. I was so sweaty and uncomfortable. I’m not blaming them for this, its probably just where they had space to put our large party(which had been reserved for quite some time). What I will blame them for is their service and food. The service was sorely lacking. I sat with an empty wine and water glass for 30 minutes before the food was served. They would come and ask others at our table for their drink orders but never would ask me, had to finally flag them down to get service. The food was not good. They knew the amount of people that were at this dinner and did not provide enough food. It was family style and so little portions came out that we had to cut single pieces of appetizers into halves or thirds just so everyone could have a taste. One of our VPs had to keep asking them to bring out food because there was not enough to go around. The food I did end up getting was nothing to write home about. Several of us felt sick later that evening and the next day, not sure if it was because of the food or sitting outside in the heat for several hours. I was still hungry so had to stop somewhere on my way home to pick up an actual dinner.

Had the Sunday brunch. Was very happy with the food. The bruschetta was excellent, the kids loved the chicken tenders. Really good prime rib and the desserts were tremendous. That said, the service was less than satisfactory. Our server rarely came by the table. Water glasses were never filled, plates were not removed throughout the meal and check didn’t come until we requested. We sat patiently for 20 minutes waiting for anyone to come by so we could request it, but it never happened. Place has a nice vibe but the service needs to improve significantly.

It’s a nice place. They messed up my reservation for 10 people and no one apologized. We had to wait for seating too. I had a surprise party for a friend and they ruined it.

Had my first visit yesterday and I really liked it. A co-worker and I went for lunch. My incentive for going was because I got a coupon at the Unilocal Restaurant Week Event(thanks, Unilocal and Pinstrips!) Our server, Josh W. was great. The chop salad and tomato basil soup were delicious. We also had the Thin Mint Gelato… with chunks of real Thin Mint cookies in the gelato. Yum! I will definitely be back!

Interesting place. I came here for a work event, so I wasn’t able to see the entire place, and what they had to offer. What I did see was unfriendly and inattentive staff, working in an awesome environment. The positive– this place has Bocce ball, bowling, corn hole, yard golf, fire pits, and drinks! We were able to spend the chilly night outside on the deck because of the fire, which was awesome. Their food was average, I don’t remember good or bad, so no complaints. The bad– strictly staff. I was greeted by a lady who could not have cared less about my presence. After explaining to her it was my first time here AND I was supposed to find the room we had reserved she said«annnnd??» then proceeded to talk with her coworker. After resourcefully finding the rooms I was greeted by a server. The server took my order and my card(for the tab), and was never seen again. After tracking down my card and drink(by finding the bar myself) my coworkers found that it was quicker to go downstairs to the bar than to wait for the servers that were supposed to be waiting the party. When our reservation was coming to an end however, they didn’t hesitate to round up our signatures and their tips. Severely disappointed, and I’m not sure I would encourage anyone I know to book a party here.

I’ve been twice now, once for lunch and then again for Easter brunch. When we went for lunch I ordered the chopped salad. It wasn’t a chopped salad, it was just a plain salad. It wasn’t bad, but it was just a side salad at a chopped salad price. My sister talked me into going there for Easter brunch. She had been before on a regular brunch morning and said it was delicious. We gave it a try and the Easter brunch was just not great. Pinstripes had elevated their prices for Easter, but my sister said the brunch was not as good as the regular brunch. So they upped the price and lowered their menu choices. Now I will say my sister did call and talked to the manager and told her about the disappointment in the brunch choice and she did say to come back in and sent her a gift card. I will say after brunch we all played bocce ball and that was fun.

So, two stars because the food was good. We had two appetizers, the calamari and the tenderloin sliders. Both were done well. The free bread with dip was also good. The calamari was normal fair for a restaurant(nothing exciting, no special dips, etc — but it was hot and not greasy). The sliders were tasty and the bun and sauce were good. The downsides include the service and the pricing. The above two dishes came to $ 30 w/tax. Three sliders(normal slider size) and a regular sized calamari. It is sort of supposed to be an upscale place, so I could let that slide — except — the service was beyond bad. I’ve received better service from Chick-fil-a. The table was not entirely cleaned — and — when pointed out, they said they’d get to that(but never actually cleaned the table) — with a light crowd, our table was neglected to the point of running out of drinks for all people at the table. The server seemed uncertain about the menu when asked basic questions and didn’t seem overly concerned about much of anything. There are plenty of places to visit to take my wife out for food — if I’m paying premium pricing, I expect top notch service, clean tables, attentive and knowledgeable staff.

Went bowling at Pinstripes with the kids. During the day they have specials for the kids so the prices weren’t too bad. The food on the breakfast menu also seemed reasonable. $ 4 waffles that were a hit with the kids, coffee for $ 3 not bad. The way it works is you pay for bowling by the hour and you can fit in about 2 games in that time. I enjoyed it, will go back for sure.

I really enjoyed Pinstripes! I hadn’t been bowling in years due to the dirty bowling alleys and the risk of lung cancer upon entering. I am so glad we tried Pinstripes! I can’t speak for the food or the buffet, as we are elsewhere. However, the bowling lanes themselves were super clean. I would recommend that you make reservations for bowling, as they are very busy and we had a 2 hour wait for an open lane. Another note, Sunday’s are brunch menu only until 2pm. Pinstripes is not the cheapest bowling alley you will attend, as we paid $ 29 for 3 people to bowl 1 game. In my option it was worth it for the clean lanes and clean air. We had so much fun and will be returning soon!

A group of 9 of us had a reservation for 6pm thinking that if we reserved for dinner, we can bowl as well. When we checked in an asked for 2 lanes, they said we might have to wait until 10pm to bowl. We were not going to sit around for 4 hours for overly priced bowling. We understand that they are located in the nice part of town and its not the typical«bowling» experience but 4 hours for 2 lanes sounded ridiculous. However, the food was pretty good. I had the chicken and goat cheese pasta which was flavorful and I loved the extra kick that goat cheese gave the pasta. My husband had the«Italian» jambalaya that was more of a risotto with jambalaya toppings. It wasn’t what he expected but he enjoyed it. We also enjoyed a cocktail made with port wine and ginger ale that tasted like sangria and an old fashion made with maple syrup which mellowed out the flavor of whiskey. The food was good but don’t come here expecting to bowl.

Came here for a Sunday brunch and it was clear they were not prepared for a large crowd. Very slow service and constantly running out of food. Many other options in the area with a better experience. After sharing our concerns with management they did the right thing and compensated the meal.

This was the most fun I have had in a while. When my friends described it I didn’t really understand. It is a bar/restaurant/bowling alley/bocce ball place. We had an office party on the second floor. We got 2 bowling lanes and a bocce ball lane. It was catered with lots of food that was outstanding. The staff was super nice and explained bocce ball rules to us. This place has 3 bars and lots of staff so your next drink is never far away. Can’t wait for work to send me back to KC so I can go again.

Too loud for me. Another failed attempt of new trendy bars that lack ambiance and just too noisy for any conversations.

I came here for a work event, so we had a private room and what not. They had arranged food for us, flatbreads, hummus, sliders. All of the food was pretty dang good! Especially the flatbreads. The service was great, our group had our fair share to drink, and kept the bartender pretty busy(great drinks by the way!) the only issue, was they had the heat on. Bowling, it gets warm anyway, but we had to ask 3 – 4 times for them to turn it down a notch, everyone was sweating, and not because of the bowling scores. Still, I would love to come back, if they had some free lanes at some point. I have tried to make reservations twice, but the only time they ever seem to have open, is 9PM, even on weeknights.

Yes it was a Sunday and we sat outside, nice seating by the way. Expected sports bar food but the fig flat bread and tenderloin sliders were great before a movie. Will be back with friends to play bottice ball

The location has a bit of an upscale feel and look, and prices to match. The bowling area has nice couches, and wood floors and furnishings. I came here a few months ago for bowling only. They have 8 lanes with enough seating for only three right next to the lane, an additional love seat is available every two lanes, and a high table with two stools per lane is available a bit further back. The lanes are a bit cramped and the sparse seating can make it uncomfortable for large groups; a couple on a date will be perfectly comfortable. They also have three bocci lanes inside and two outside. We were back at prairie fire today and decided to stop there for dinner. We sat outside in the outside area which is ample, complete with a fire pit surrounded by chairs. There was also live music in front of the location which made the outside atmosphere livelier. They have a varied menu: pizzas, flatbreads, burgers, and sandwiches ranging from $ 13 to $ 15. Pastas are also available, from $ 15 to $ 20, and other entrees(filet mignon and braised ribs come to mind) in the mid to high $ 20 range. The beer menu is small but varied, and there is a nice variety of house cocktails. Service was a little slow, but the waiter was polite. Several minutes after placing our order the server came by to apologize for the delay, indicating he had not hit the send button after entering the order, and our meal was further delayed. I really appreciated the honestyand the free dessert he offered to make up for the wait. Although prices are a bit high portions are generous and the presentation and atmosphere are appealing. However, the food wasn’t particularly great. The mashed potatoes were a bit bland, the grilled vegetable flatbread was tasty, but a bit spicy which was an unpleasant and unexpected surprise (I don’t like spicy), it also has too much Olive oil which made it a bit greasy, and made the bread soggy and difficult to handle. The dessert was the best part. We were given the flying trio. I’m a chocolate fiend and the frangelico chocolate cake was a disappointment but the caramelized cheesecake was great, and the apple pear bread pudding was even better.

Had dinner here for the 2nd time last night. Wife and I both had the seafood Taglietelli, and it was great. I also had the lobster bisque, which was among the best I’ve had. The tiramisu gelato was just ok, kind of icy, vs creamy. Service was great both times, very attentive and helpful. Would definitely eat here on a future visit to the OP.

We had a group reservation for about 20. They didn’t seem to have it together when we arrived. They basically didn’t know who we were or where our group was meeting. After a discussion between a few staff member’s they got us situated. They have a diverse drink menu and the appetizers were all delicious: tomato-mozzarella bruschetta antipasta & cheese platter hummus and avocado platter We ordered too many meals to list, but the food did not taste as if we were in a bowling alley, but at five star restaurant. We played bocce ball, which was fun, but the lane was anything but level. As far as service and facility, I was not impressed. The food though, was great.

The food was on point. Decadent & Delicious! #Fancy! My Partner and I celebrated our 21st Monthssary here and I couldn’t be more happy dining here on our special day! The place is stunning and with the beautiful sunny weather, we definitely had to eat in their outdoor seating. One of the perks of being a Unilocal elite is that there’s usually prize drawings at the elite events and I just so happen to recently win a gift certificate from the last event! So thanks Unilocal for a lovely dinner at Pinstripes :) We also got these special red wristbands, so every time we dine in at Pinstripes, we get one glass of either red or white wine for free!(I’m not sure how to actually obtain, try asking the Pinstripes folks to hook you up with one!) We came on a Tuesday evening, so there was no wait. FYI they do not do same day reservations for dining, lol so for all you procrastinators I suggest to call in and reserve at least one to a few days before your date :) Our waiter was top notch. He even made sure to take lots of photos of us just to get that«perfect» shot with the sun behind us and our food glistening in front of us hehe. Bravo Samir, Bravo.(I think that was his name haha) Appetizer: Fried Calamari was fried to perfection. The tomato sauce that accompanied it, helped bring out the flavor of the calamari. Succulent and if we didn’t have entrees, I would have ordered a second helping! Entrees: My Italian Jambalaya Risotto came out looking like was cooked up by a MasterChef! Presentation was FAB! It looked so classy. Actually everything about Pinstripes is the definition of classy! So glad we wore striped polos. #preppyboysforaday. Anywho, back to the food. The shrimp was grilled with such flavor! Like they were ridiculously tasty. The grilled chicken was a close second place to the shrimp. I love Surf and Turf dishes… and this has catapulted itself to the top of my faves with its very soul food-ish risotto! I liked how it was your usual jambalaya, it had the perfect amount of sauce and not drenched in it. WILLDEFINITELYCOMEBACKJUSTFORTHISDISH! :) My partner’s Gnocchi & Ahi Tuna was good too. Now I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of Gnocchi, so it wouldn’t be fair of me to review it… BUT that Ahi Tuna though was delicious. Dessert: House-made Chocolate Profiteroles: OMG. I died and came back from heaven after my first bite. I love these fancy cream puffs filled with gelato. So sweeeeeet and gosh oh so delicious. Oh did I mention they drizzled hot fudge on top! Paired quite well with our white wine! I adore this place! I loved the bowling and bocce experience, but after dining here… I LOVEITEVENMORE! :) :) :) Happy Eating!
