Cuppa Joe

First impression didn’t meet my minimum standards
Walls filthy with coffee spills. Bagels tasted old. Eaten plenty in my time. Toast looked and tasted like. It came from a convalescent hospital. In my humble opinion the person should interact with the customer like it’s the first time visiting. Perhaps she had other things on her mind.

One of my favorite breakfast spots the owner is very nice and the service is A1. I recommend the hot Chai tea always really good and the sunrise breakfast either on a bagel or in a breakfast burrito very delicious. Every time I go to cuppa joes it’s a pleasant and delicious experience I don’t hesitate to recommend this to friends and random people.

Sadly disappointing. Long wait for luke warm drinks and a stale bagel. Used to be the best in town

Cuppa Joe is small business done right. The food is great. I love the Lombard breakfast burrito and for a light lunch a Lombard salad. The service is fast and friendly. I love to be able to call ahead and have my food ready for me when I get there. It is a great convenience for the business around their location.

Here every Friday and Saturday a must try I always get what ever the pull pork is on the menu give a try

Decent quick food. Small shop kind of feel. Had a steak burrito. Wasn’t super greasy or anything. The Vanilla Steamer was tasty; it totally hit the spot. Cashier described it as a vanilla hot chocolate. It tasted like a warm vanilla Frappuccino which I had no idea that’s what I totally wanted.

Staying at a friends and just looking for a good place to have breakfast. Found Cuppa Joe by accident. Reminded me of the place in Grosse Point Blank. Had the best chorizo breakfast burrito I’ve had in years. Balanced flavors and nothing overwhelming. You’ve gotta try it!

Delicious Food & great service. I try something different every time & I am never disappointed. Just had their Californian sandwich now & I think this is officially my new favorite !

I work for Kaiser and saw the sign so I tried it. Food was good that’s why the two stars. Asian lady was very rude. Terrible service and terrible attitude. She acts like she hates her job. My first and last time here. Would never put up with that in Los Angeles. I guess in Oxnard the bar is low.

I usually don’t write reviews but I’ve been going to this place for a while and they’re amazing. I’m always bringing friends in with me who are angry I didn’t take them somewhere with good coffee and food sooner. The amount of food they give you for the price is amazing, also considering it’s really yummy food. The staff is also really friendly. I highly recommend this place

Great coffee but the sunrise bagel (egg, ham, cheese) was less than average. I guess if you like processed American cheese you may like this. I may give it another try and revise my review with a diff food item.

Not bad but wasn’t overly impressed either. Not anything to rave about but in a pinch it’s a good choice

This place deserves more attention than it gets. I love their Monday Morning English muffin sandwich with avocado, egg, ham, cheese and a slice of tomato. Really healthy and filling breakfast. It comes with the fruit cup which I could do without to be honest. But overall this is my favorite breakfast go to place.

Cuppa Joe is my go to for a healthy and delicious lunch. The Southwest Chicken Wrap is my favorite but everything I have eaten here tastes great.

Fast courteous service. I ordered a spinach omelet with potatoes and toast. Very tasty, I also ordered a cuppacino frappé and large diet coke.

My kids & I like going before work/​school when we’re running late. I love the chorizo burrito and their desserts are yummy!

Closed on Sunday’s, booboo.
Centrally located between medical offices and a condominium/​townhouse neighborhood is where you will find this mediocre coffee shop.
Heads up, they are only open until about 3:30p everyday (except Sunday’s since they are closed completely) so basically this is just a breakfast and lunch spot.
I’ve tried their steak breakfast burrito which is pretty tasty, but can be hit or miss on the flavor/​quality scale. Sometimes the potatoes in the burrito are not cooked enough or are over cooked. Sometimes there’s not enough meat and too much eggs. The one thing that stays constant is the ‘homemade’ salsa that comes with your burrito… Ask for extra it’s soooooo delicious. The cost for a breakfast burrito is less that $ 5, so the price is right but the quality is inconsistent.

Bad customer service. I can never get a smile from the cashier lady Lisa. I ordered a coke, she drops the lid on the floor and USES that same lid to put on my coke. And seems offended when I ask her to grab a new lid! Amazing. Anyway they could use a new cashier, one that actually cares about her job.
As for the food it’s a hit or miss depending on what you order. I’ve ordered the breakfast steak and egg burrito which was not good. The meat was tough to chew. I’ve also ordered a double burger, but was falling apart so rapidly I had to pick everything up from my plate afterwards. The fries are OK, crispy and thick. Their iced smoothie type drinks are also good.

I’ve been here for my lunch breaks and it’s usually busy. Everything that I have ordered (BBQ chicken salad, turkey avocado wrap and California chicken sandwich) have been hot, tasty and flavorful. The whole sha-​bang.
They have delicious french fries here that my coworkers rave about but be careful because the edges can be rough when you’re excitedly eating them and it really hurts going down my throat (insert nasty comments lol).
Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu items :)
