Ok let me explain. I love pollo loco. I love the chicken and their under 500 calorie menu items. I also appreciate the prices and my mom gets senior discount which is awesome. The food gets 4 stars and the service from a cashier named Jessica gets 5 stars. Jessica the cashier was patient and friendly. The restaurant is clean and the salsa bar is always full.
The reason for the 1 star rating is because management sucks. There is a manager named Jessica (not the cashier the manager) she is absolutely rude not only to customers but to the employees mainly. She very rudely called out employees in front of customers and ridiculed them, I was so embarrassed for the employees she said at multiple times «that is the only way they’re going to learn» wow! I am very unhappy with how the manager treated the employees. Like I said I do love me some pollo loco but I would not be returning to this location.

This was our first dine-​in at any el pollo loco and the service was great! We were greeted by the whole team when we walked in and Jessica let us know when ever we were ready to order she would help us. She was very pleasant and had a smile the whole time. The food came out fast and it was delicious.

I’ve always liked Pollo Loco. I usually just get the regular chicken and sides. Today, I decided to try their Baja shrimp menu items.
An order for 5 people came out to $ 40 ish. We ordered a chicken avocado burrito, a shrimp avocado tostada and a shrimp avocado burrito.
The food was tasty and portion size was good and they’re not cheap with the shrimp and include a fair amount. The shrimp is a good size and well seasoned. A little on the rubbery side, but not bad for fast food.

Decent Chicken Avocado Burrito. If mom wasn’t with me, I’d have driven the few extra miles to go to Super Taco.
It’s a hit or miss with them having the Wing Lovers meal-​which is perfect for mom. Today was a miss.. Next time… Maybe

I met up with a friend here for a nice luncheon to catch up and have a cheap meal :)
I like how quiet it is here since it’s really not that busy but their drive-​thru was bustling lol.
I ordered the tostada salad and it was kinda small but was actually filling for my tummy. They have a really good creamy cilantro dressing to kill for: D
Surprisingly, there are lots of parking spaces just for El Pollo Loco lol Won’t have trouble finding parking here :)

Drive thru sucks… The slowest one ever and they always forget to put something in my bag or there is always something wrong with my order that had NO alterations/​subsitutions.
This place is JUNK!
