The service is good. The food is good. The Iced Tea taste like swamp water. We live in the modern world. There is no need for iced tea to taste bad. Southern or not southern ice tea is coast to coast make it right.

What a great location! Antique and design district is right around the corner of Sunny Dunes West. Industrial Place street has terrific wonderful Antique Galleries of Palm Springs! I found some great mid century modern furniture there! My teriyaki bowl at Jack in the Box was awesome!

Back when I was a kid in Jersey I remember Jack in the Box restaurants being all over the place. I guess at some point they decided the competition wasn’t profitable so they closed up shops. Well, last night my daughter and I got to our hotel late and needed some grub. Not many places were open so I decided to give Jack a try. It’s a fast food restaurant so I don’t ever have high expectations, but it wasn’t too shabby. My daughter loved the chicken strips and my burger was much better than McDs or BK. Neither of us was a big fan of the fries… just meh. A little pricey for what we got, but it hit the spot. Just on for me.

For FASTFOOD, Jack has got it right! The food is ALWAYS very good… especially the breakfast items. The restaurant is kept fresh and clean in spite of what several have already mentioned… homeless camping out! This has been on on-going problem and we have complained to PSPD as well as their survey. The staff manages to do their best to keep everything running smoothly and we appreciated that! Mr BOX is as good as it gets in the fast food arena… so come on in!

Why do I come here? This place is a hangout for the homeless during the day. If their not inside at the tables they are outside setting up camp on the south side of the restaurant. They really need to clean this place up.

It was cool to see the machine where you could order and pay by yourself. It was clean and fast service. The ladies behind the counters were friendly as well.

Food was good but the workers seemed mad and rude. They need to pep up and be happy x) & learn how to talk to customers.

First time I’ve ever had Jack In The Box was in Palm Springs today when I was dropping my friend off at the airport. I was so jealous of his breakfast tray that I had to order my own as soon as i got back to 29 Palms. I will say the supreme croissantwiches at the 29 Palms location are much better than at the Palm Springs location. On to the breakfast tray! Upon opening, the nutty aroma of mini pancakes assaulted my nostrils. The Log Cabin brand syrup really spices things up. And don’t let the off-yellow eggy mess turn you off — they taste a lot better than they look. Just add some pepper and they taste great! The bacon was extremely crunchy and thin, and probably made early this morning(we ordered food at 3:30pm) but it could’ve been worse. The tabletops were a little dirty but the food made up for that. Only other minor complaint is that it took 3 times of me repeating my order for the lady to get it right, it seems she couldn’t understand English all that well. And she wrote my name down as Cory when I clearly enunciated the T in my name. Oh well.

I hate to be a hater, I use to go to this location until now. It wasn’t the food, it was the worker who over charged me and just randomly made up a reason of why, so he wouldn’t have to void a order and redo it. I only get the #30 breakfast combo, always with a small drink that comes with the combo and never with sausage, I pick bacon instead. So if you look at my receipts the first one is correct and my total came to $ 4.24 with tax. The second receipt is $ 5.00 for the exact same combo? I asked the worker Antonio why it said Plus bacon charge of .50 because I wanted bacon not sausage & bacon both. He said the .50 cent add on was for the soda instead of coffee… I have gotten a small soda before with the combo and was never charge extra. Needless to say he didn’t budge on the fact that he was wrong. I know its .50 cents, but .50 cents that i got nothing extra for. I even gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they gave me sausage and bacon… but no, just over charge for nothing. If I honestly cant trust what you will charge me for a combo and it fluctuates .50 cents here or there it will be even more next time. I’m done with this location, and suggest you really look at your receipt if you go there.

Ok, it’s fast food. 4 stars because I don’t think I have ever had a order I customized messed up and the staff has always been fun. Love our Cathy on Friday and Saturday nights, she is fun. Otherwise, yes, there are bums in the area, seen many drug deals go on, one guy even rolled a joint on the table behind me one day! Good thing is they have never bugged me for change or harassed me, but every time I am there in the afternoon it’s almost like watching a free show and you watch and try to figure out who’s who in their world.

Standard 1990s Jack: tired red and black color scheme with flickering flourescent lighting in the dining room that you will share with homeless men and women from the nearby Taquitz Creek wash. Like the OP says, best use the drive-thru until Jack orders a makeover(for both décor and customer mix).

I gotta say, drove through this Jack in the Box location. AWESOMESERVICE, quick and easy. Good food too. 5-stars for the cute and funny drive-thru server. She was so funny. Apparently this Jack in the Box is now franchised-own so they can’t give you a handful of ketchup, creamer, Equal, etc. She was cool though. hooked it up and entertained us for a few minutes as we waited for our food. She loved her job apparently… and it was a Sunday morning! These establishments need to hire more friendly and nice staff like this young gal in the drive-thru.
