Nanoo is an adorable boutique with lovely children’s clothing, carrying mostly European brands. Nanoo, the owner, is extremely sweet and helpful when assisting shoppers. She knows everything there is to know about children’s brands and sizing, and can surely help you find the perfect outfit or gift. She helped me find a great onesie(organic cotton!) for my friend who was having a baby boy, so now it is my go-to store when a friend or co-worker is having a baby.

Honestly, I’ve always been deterred from going in here because of the creepy faces in the window. It just doesn’t feel welcoming or do anything to bring me in unlike another children’s store nearby.

Nice selection and good service. However, the prices are very high and there are no returns — only exchanges or store credit, and this only within 14 days. It would be nice if they told you this before your purchase, but they don’t. I would be very wary of buying anything from a store like this that doesn’t offer returns. It’s just bad policy.

I recently went to Nanoo to buy a baby gift for friends of mine who just had a baby. They live in a foreign country and I was planning on visiting next month. Unfortunately, right after I bought a dress(at $ 130) I found out that I had to cancel my trip. Therefore, I wanted to return the dress(I’m a single guy and have no need for baby clothes) but I read on the receipt that Nanoo has A NORETURNPOLICY(which is not particularly advertised, if at all, within the store). Within 24 hours of purchase I called Nanoo and spoke to the owner. The first words out of her mouth after I explained the situation were, «I’ve had a no return policy for 10 years». She was absolutely unwilling to offer a return even after I told her my situation. She is well within her right to have such a policy but this is BADBUSINESS. Furthermore, she complained to me that she would lose a few dollars from the credit card company for a return(rather than treat a customer like she cared about my business). As I wrote above, this is BADBUSINESSPRACTICE. The upshot of this experience: the owner of Nanoo will treat you well ONLYTOTHEEXTENTTHATSHECANGETYOURMONEY, not your satisfaction.

Incomparable service and unique selection of children’s clothing newborn to size 12. Try to go when Nanoo herself is available to help you. If you want the usual vest for boys or dress for girls for special occasions or family portrait, go to gymboree or jill and jack. If you want something that flatters without all the fluff, this is the place. Great sale right now, 30% — 40% off. Yes, very few things are under $ 50 and most dresses are close to $ 100. I’d rather own 1 well made, well styled item from this store than 10 items from Target that only last a once or twice. My daughter tends to wear what she likes over and over again and the Target stuff never lasts long enough for her. This store and Patagonia Outlet(santa cruz) are two of my favorite for practical, durable and distinctive children’s clothing.

Found Nanoo at Town and Country Shopping Center in Palo Alto. Looks like the same set up they had at Santana Row. Sadly my kids have outgrown the sizes so I can’t shop there anymore. Great European style/quality shoes and clothes. Prices are high for the imported merchandise, but if you are looking for GOOD quality and unique/trendy styles, then check it out.

Whoa! Cute shoes, but way overpriced! I bought some cool, leather European-style shoes for my daughter here. Choked on the $ 75 pricetag, but figured they were well-made, so would last. Hah! Two months later the shoes have shredded at the seam. Sad tears. And the same shoes are available for $ 40 from the manufacturer! I won’t be going back to Nanoo.

I know for a fact that Nanoo closed her store at Santana Row to re-open at Town & Country in Palo Alto. However, the weird thing is she hasn’t re-opened!!! She said she would re-open in February but still no store front. She has always had a great selection of beautiful european clothes, shoes, and accessories. If you have the money and want to dress your children in the euro style this is the place to go… if she re-opens.

This is the most adorable children’s clothing store in the entire South Bay, but unless you have a lotta moola, be content to browse. Cutest kiddie shoes ever are sold here, and make me glad that I have 2 boys — we’d be bankrupt otherwise.
