Great customer service. Welcoming clean place! Food was delicious it is so hard to find good QUALITY ingredients these days but this is the spot. Big portions too, I expected the sauces to be in a little container but they give u a large container and you get to pick 3! I had the chicken pita it was great. I will definitely go back!

A casual, fast, counter service place that doesn’t make me feel terrible after I’ve eaten it. All the salads/sides were so good, I loved the hummus and tabouleh. The manager was so nice and friendly, and the décor was very modern and trendy.

Totally satisfied. Great service, customizable menu, Delicious food, big portions. I’ve been here 5 times and I’ve never been disappointed. Paramus has many good places to eat but most of them are far from healthy and after leaving you’re never quite sure if you might have heart failure. This place supplies good healthy food that satisfies. It’s sort of like a Mediterranean chipotle. I recommend the chicken and jasmine rice with a side of cucumber salad and hummus. Perfect for a lunch. Take a little home and eat the rest for a snack.

Nice hot lunch with generous portions. Will be back again. I got the steak which seems to be cooked to order. The sides I picked were roasted veggies, tabbulah and cucumber tomato salad. The tea of the day was Earl Gray.

2 stars only because the environment was very comforting, clean/luxurious, and the people working there were friendly. I wouldnt go back because the taste of the food was dull. It was too basic and not enough flavor. Plus the food was cold. They had it laid out in a «build your own» platter with a server. I asked for chicken in my meal. There were like 10 chicken cubes left and I got 6 pieces… I wanted more chicken. 2 platters with drinks were $ 28. Environment/Vibe: 4⁄5 Customer Service: 4⁄5 Food Quality: 2⁄5 Would I revisit? No

Waste of money don’t even bother. They don’t know what they are doing. Food is tasteless. Place has potential but they are doing everything wrong. I hope they improve the food. Looks like your are paying for décor rather than food.

Kind of like a Middle-Eastern Chipotle– I loved it, I ordered the chicken kebab salad bowl with yogurt with cucumber and mint, hummus and roasted vegetables, this also came with a quarter pita– good deal with a generous portion. I especially liked that they use organic vegetables and antibiotic free chickens. I would definitely come back for a quick lunch option.

I’ve been waiting for this spot to open so I could try it out. The wait for my to go food was pretty long although the place was empty. Everyone else who ordered before me seemed to have the same wait. Apparently everything I ordered was in process of being grilled. I was a little concerned when the employee told another customer that the meat was precooked and wouldn’t take long on the grill. I would go back– the food was ok. I don’t think I would make a special trip to go here again.

Mediterranean, organic healthy salads or platters? Yes. Very excited to try nooshi jon today! I piled up the greens on my chicken kebab salad today after a binge of pasta this week and thoroughly enjoyed this meal. I will be back to try the shrimp! It’s like the clean eating version of juicy platters. They need a loyalty card asap. It’s very beautiful décor in here and the staff took the time to explain the menu to me. I’m here on a Wednesday for lunch so it might be busier here later or on the weekend.

Came here with high hopes and I was immediately blown away by the décor of the place. High ceilings, great furnishings, and a really cool semi industrial look. That’s about where the positives end however. The ordering system was a little chaotic because the place is set up like a Chipotle but you order at the register first before you actually walk past the food. The counter person told me it was because it was slow so they were trying to minimize waste. The food took forever to prepare — there were only 5 people in the store but they had to make our proteins to order and then the counter person had to go back and forth between the kitchen and register while making the food. Some of their sides are free and some you have to pay for with no ryhme or reason. The food itself is. bland. The meatballs were dry and just lacking in any flavor. The hummus and tabouli came in REALLY small portions but I did get a giant scoop of tzatziki sauce(which counts as a side). The meal was average at best but $ 15 total I really would have expected more. It’s a new restaurant so I’m still going they’ll get some of the kinks worked out. Decent concept but execution needs work.

I give this place more of a 3.5 stars. It’s fast food mediterranean, with the chipotle menu concept. Pick pita, salad, or plate. Then your meat. And then 3 sides. For a relatively healthy, fast food option, this place is solid. No the quality of the kabobs is not on par with restaurants, but I pay two to threes times more at the restaurants, so I have no complaints. I’ve tried the platter and pita, and must admit that I like the pita better. The place is really nice, but the music is a bit loud(And this is coming from someone who attends concerts and goes to clubs regularly). I had trouble hearing the girl making my food, and just prayed that I answered what she asked me, and she could hear what I wanted as my sides. Overall, I’ll probably come back here again.

Nice interior design. Looks much nicer than other fast casual restaurants. However, food is just ok. It’s good but not great. The concept is similar to Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. You can choose your own protein, then have that over rice, salad, or a pita. Then you get to choose three sides. Some options are hummus, tabouleh, mint salad, grilled vegetables, and cucumber & tomato salad. There are other better local Mediterranean places nearby. If you want cheaper Mediterranean food, you can try Juicy Platter. The food there is better but the ambiance is not as nice and always fairly crowded. I ended up getting the platter of the meatballs over rice. Like I said. Food was decent but nothing amazing. Nothing stood out. They turn on top 40 songs in the background. Staff is friendly enough. The place is quite empty. Not a lot of customers even though it’s lunch time. So if you are looking for a quieter, less busy place for lunch, this might be a good option. FYI — it’s next to the Staples.

Excellent fresh organic food. My new fave spot in Paramus area. Perfect place to stop in between shopping and doing errands. The eggplant stew was awesome. My boys loved the meatballs with rice. The shrimp kabob was great… not over-cooked, nice and tender. My husband made his own wrap sandwich with meatballs, hummus and spicy yogurt with the mint… out of this world. They also have great selection of loose-leaf teas from alternative brewing companies. My critical feedback is the tea cups were too tall and large… I don’t drink that much tea plus it took too long for the tea to cool down. Also there is too much rice on the plate. I think 2 rather than 3 servings would be enough. I’m so happy we have a healthy spot… and the interiors are beautifully designed… so open and clean. Happy tummy!

This place is chipotle-style middle eastern food. Here’s the pros: Yummy food Great concept and easy to customize your lunch just how you like it Pretty healthy Clean, modern Nice bathrooms Good soda machine Good service Fast Here’s where they can improve: More lettuce options They need falafel Everything could use more salt More rice options(like brown rice) Bigger protein portions! Option to do half-half proteins like half chicken /half shrimp Yogurt dips should be whole milk yogurt not low fat They need a tehini More salad options, like cabbage salad, grilled onions Pita chips should be a topping option, especially for bowls and salads They need a fish option like salmon They need good juices or agua frescas, not just sodas or Gatorade They need homemade hot sauce, not just bottled chalula Where are the olives and pickles??? Overall I give it four stars because it’s yummy and that’s the main thing I look for in a lunch. Looking forward to seeing how it improves in the future!

I hate to kill the excitement of opening a new restaurant but I am going to be very honest in this review. They say 90% of the restaurants fail within the first year. It’s going to to be a huge challenge for Nooshi Jon’s management not to be part of that statistic. While my experience is based on a single visit during a soft opening but I can usually sense things quickly. Sorry management… but things need to change dramatically or I doubt the restaurant will survive. The place absolutely looks great. I give a lot of credit to the interior designer. It must cost a fortune to build the place from a scratch. Yes, this is another«Chipotle» style fast casual restaurant offering a selection of protein that you can have over rice, salad or in a pita. Then they give you up to 3 sides, hummus, grilled tomatoes, cucumber salad, yogurt, etc. The ground beef I had was just okay and other proteins(with only a few pieces in the trays) looked just alright. I suggest management to get food serving trays that are compartmentalized so that the sides are not all mixed together. The problem is Mediterranean food is popular but it still has a limited audience. And you have double or triple the size of a typical Chipotle(can you imagine what the rent is for this location?). So you have a limited menu with limited audience. On top of that, you are trying to be «healthy». This limits the audience further. There is no brand identity but the price point is higher than Chipotle, Moe’s or other fast casual restaurants which is just too much for what you get. For a fast casual restaurant in a high rent area, you need a lot of customers. It doesn’t matter how good the place looks if there is no customer traffic. If the menu is limited, the price is high, and the food is just average, it will be hard to get repeat customers. There are many Mediterranean fast casual places that work very well. However, they usually have smaller footprint and usually offer a lot more. How about offering falafel or other sandwiches in a pita at a lower price point? Visit Crisp which has a loyal following in suburban NJ and see what they are doing right. Best of luck. Contact me anytime for my suggestions.

Managers and workers are all very friendly! Still learning the flow of how to run, but eager to learn and please the customers. The food is also excellent and very unique to the area! You get to pick your protein(steak, ground beef kabob, shrimp, chicken or seitan) seitan– excellent vegetarian option, somewhat like tofu, it’s cooked made to order but well worth the short wait! With the protein you get a choice of rice(with saffron) salad, or pita(made like a gyro/burrito), BUTWAITTHERESMORE! With that you then get to choose from their endless supply of sides, 3 are included(tabouleh, grilled tomato, grilled vegetables, hummus, tomato cucumber salad, yogurt-plain, yogurt with cucumber and mint). The eggplant stew is also so good! I felt like the amount of food you get for the price is a really great value! Good luck!

I’ve been waiting to try this new place! Their tag line is «food to nourish the soul», which to me meant healthy– I’m all for it! It was a halal/Greek type place with a chipotle style station line and lovely design. I would say more upscale than your average gyro/halal joint, but you are paying for better quality ingredients-It is not often you find a restaurant that even offers such clean ingredients. We ordered two pita wraps and two drinks, the total was $ 25. The pita wraps were very large and filling, and all ingredients were fresh and healthy. You get a protein,(kabob chicken/steak/shrimp), turmeric rice, and then a choice of 3 side additions– tabouleh, hummus, cucumber mint yogurt, grilled veggies, etc. I will definitely come back! The service was quick, though they are still in the process of opening – I believe they still have a limited menu. I would recommend this for a quick lunch or dinner when you don’t want anything super heavy or greasy. Pros: Antibiotic and hormone free meats, organic vegetables. Very clean, quick and healthy Cons: You can really only order a full meal, not many small plate or appetizer options.

This is my first visit. I ordered a salad with chicken, hummus, tabbouleh, and the yogurt with mint. It came with a quarter piece of pita. The food was good and the employees friendly. Since this place is new I think they may need time to get it to flow smoothly. I thought the price was a bit much for a salad, $ 11.95, but the portion was generous. The extras are reasonably priced at a $ 1 each.

Brand Spankin’ New. This week is their soft opening. They are located just North of Midland Ave on Rt 17 South. They are located in the old GAP plaza near Staples. The place was spotless but one would hope so since they just opened. Nice modern atmosphere. It is similar to Chipotle but more Greek style. You can choose Pita, Salad or Rice, you pick a protein Ground Beef, Chicken, Steak, or Shrimp with a choice of 3 sides. I chose the ground beef pita with salad, Tabouleh, Yogurt cucumber — mint sauce inside and Tomato Cucumber Salad on the side. It was very tasty. They put a light dressing on the salad first before going into the pita, honestly it was good but very oily. The ground beef was not what I expected it was more like a patty but extremely taste. They have 8 sides to choose from and a list of extras you can get. Currently the have limited hours. Hope to go back when they have there full menu available.
