We will never go back there again– hostess acted like it was a chore to seat us for lunch and we sat there for 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged us — ending up leaving and going to Zoom where they were very friendly. If you are going to charge high prices you should have service that goes along with that.

1. Nice décor and great view of the action with all of their windows in the front dining room 2. Great service. Mediocre food. Mashed potatoes were dry and unseasoned. Same for the other seven entrees our group ordered 3. Their«local, old fashioned» root beer has HFCS. I call shenanigans. It tastes like repackaged A&w 4. Great place to socialize but I’d skip most of the food. Also, FYI that Utah liquor laws are in effect

Good food, a bit pricey and small portions. When you order two spring rolls, you get one spring roll cut in half.

Arrived here for dinner just before 6pm during the Sundance Film Festival and it was nearly empty. We were a little apprehensive but we decided to give it a try because there were vegetarian friendly options on the menu, something we were not seeing a lot of. The food was delicious(and by the time we left, the restaurant was nearly full!). The carrot pepper bisque(vegan) was yummy and flavorful, the bread warm and oil tasty. The fettuccine was flavorful although the asparagus was crunchy(my first bite but the blending of the rest of the flavors good and unique) The bread pudding was a great finish. Portions were, although on the pricey side, very reasonable(not over the top large). Pleasant dining experience in Park City.

Was in town for business and skiing during sundance and was there on Thursday night the first night. Although service started slow upstairs the wait staff and team really picked up and did very well given how busy they were. We had a party of 16 so lots happening. The duck two ways was great. Lardon salad was really really good! The beef Bourguignonne was amazing. Would highly recommend. Bar upstairs is great for diner and atmosphere. Fun!

We were in Park City for an annual ski trip last week and tried Bistro 412. The restaurant has a nice feel to it and the staff was friendly but the food quality was underwhelming. The escargot was tasty but the shishito peppers were disappointing. The trout was just okay and the hangar steak/flat iron steak was slightly better than that. The upstairs bar had a good feel to it(we only had a drink there).

Came here for lunch and my husband and I split escargot and the Poutine. Let me just say, that Poutine has got to be the most unhealthy dish I have ever had in my entire life, and wow was it amazing. My trip here was a week ago and I still think about how delicious that Poutine was. I know I could probably find it in LA, but will refrain as to avoid gaining 20 Poutine pounds of decadent duck fat on my thighs. The escargot was great too, but overshadowed by the duck fat fried, smothered in duck confit(more duck fat), local cheese curd(let’s toss in some dairy fat), pomme frites. I would come back here just for this. Followed by an entire day of riding to burn off this heavenly dish.

The French fries are AMAZING! The escargot was great and so was my steak frites. Everyone at the table was happy. The butternut squash soup was a bit peppery according to most of the guests at our table. But other than that everything was excellent.

This place is fantastic! Everything was spot on. I had the short rib. It was incredible. Our server Justin was charming and attentive. We were seated promptly without a reservation and treated exceptionally well. I would come back here any-day!

I was very underwhelmed by the food here. While it may be less expensive than other restaurants in the area, food quality did not meet the price point. I got the pear and goat cheese salad and the French onion soup. The French onion soup was fine, but the salad was very disappointing. The pears tasted canned and the greens were slightly greasy. However, the service was excellent and my water cup was never dry. Perhaps one of the entrees would have changed my review entirely.

We live in Salt Lake and there just aren’t fabulous restaurants like this. I love coming up here and eating this amazing food! Just absolutely delicious. It’s dine about right now have the arugula beat lentil salad and the pastrami sandwich. Oh and don’t forget the bread pudding for desert.

Good food. Decent service. Not super memorable but satisfying. We were stumped on a place to go and liked the variety.

Below average food that is way overpriced. Poor service, and unfriendly staff. –French onion soup is thin and not very flavorful Good thing: The bread and the herb oil was good I most likely will not be back.

Who would have thought, in a ski city, would there be so much good food? Then your friends remind you that the Sundance film festival is held in this very spot and then everything comes together. Good food + a zillion Unilocal reviews + a world known film festival = sense. So Bistro 412. We go in to get a quick bite to eat as we just have enough time to window shop and grab lunch before having to head to the airport. Our friends went to a deli down the road and we weren’t in the mood for what they were serving so we cam upon Bistro 412. It looks pretty fancy and the menu looks decent. We go inside and ask to get food to go and the hostess looks a little confused. She says to take a seat. A minute later she comes back and says, «A waiter will come and take your order soon.» So we have to wait for a waiter and then order our food through her. It takes some time but the food was worth the wait. I got a shrimp po’boy. It comes with fries and these fries were probably the best fries I’ve ever had. Seriously, they were garlic fries and it was fresh garlic. With a good amount of salt, not overly salty and not bland. Just perfect. The po’boy was an excellent sandwich. The shrimp were well breaded and fried and it was a good temperature even for a take out order. Other than the wait, I have nothing bad to say about this place. If you’re in a rush, you should probably find something that’s kept under a heat lamp. One Bruce Star: Would come back again.

Popped into Park City for Sundance and was so impressed by the restaurants, but especially this little gem! Seriously…the forest mushroom app, doesnt get much better. I swear I could of eaten 10. Such a sucker for some good goat cheese. Hubs ordered the Brie all to himself(yikes!) but likewise loved it. Mac n Cheese was so worth it. GO!

The food here was wonderful! We started with Baked Brie, which was so savory. I’d never had Brie before and loved the texture and berry twist. We also had the Caesar salad with anchovies(nothing too special here but good). They also bring out delicious French bread with oil and vinegar. It was warm, crispy, and free! The bottled water was even classy — delivered in a fancy serving bag of ice(also included). Now to the main dish: I ordered the Duck 2-ways and my wife ordered the Bison Burger. First time ordering duck and it was not disappointing. Each way the duck was cooked was enjoyable — one with a salty glaze and the other roasted. I loved the flavors of each. The vegetables were a great compliment too. My wife had the Bison burger & pomes frites & loved them both but couldn’t finish either. Big portions. We finished with the crème brûlée, which was a perfect ending to a delicious & memorable meal. We would definitely come again.

A group of friends and I decided to try this place given the 2 for 1 entrée deal. The manager was nice enough not to force us to buy a 2nd newspaper clipping to bring the coupon in — whereas some restaurants require you to bring the coupon in(I guess loss of business for them). Anyway, the place has got a french feel to it and the menu is a bit more french than american. The service was pretty decent, nothing spectacular. We ordered baked escargot in a puff pastry, caesar salad and some mixed salad with some type of grain that the waiter didn’t know much about. The baked escargot and caesar salad was pretty good although the salad was a bit small/medium sized. The mixed grain salad tasted like the grain wasn’t even half way cooked but they said it was«al dente.» I ordered the Utah Trout and tried the baked scallops. They were good but I don’t think there was anything special about them. The trout tasted dry and the leeks that came with them were a bit weird. The scallops were good but then again, we make them at home and nothing special about them. Overall, good if you can get the 2 for 1 deal but anything outside of the shoulder season, I wouldn’t go there.

We arrived late on a Sunday night, when other places(Adolph’s, are you listening?) were closed. We cruised up and down Main and remembered an excellent meal we’d had 3 years ago here. Would they abide? The answer, I am happy to say, is a definite yes. We started with escargot and an unusual wild mushroom and goat cheese combo and found both were quite good. One of us had the duck, and she liked it. Another had the bourginoise(sp) and gave it a thumb up. I enjoyed the lamb shank, but have yet to find a place that can make as good a shank as our French restaurant in Kona. I digress. The 10 year old enjoyed his burger from the kids menu. The ladies each had a couple of glasses of champagne. So the four of us with all that food and alcohol were around $ 150 or so; I was floored at how reasonable it was, or else I’m still running on Kona time. It’s the shoulder time of year here, the time of transition between summer and winter sports. We really appreciate the fact that they were open and welcoming at almost 9 on a Sunday. Our server Dan was friendly as were other staff, and we will definitely return. Right now Park City Restaurants are doing a prix fixe menu(the ones that are smart and staying open during this slow time and using it to try out new menu options etc) for $ 20 or $ 30 throughout October. Be sure to check out that as an option. I would have gone for one option on that menu except they’d sold the last of it, alas.
