I am sad to report that they closed up on April 18, 2015. We were there on the last day to get our last chocolate cookie dough and dipped Rice Crispy bars. We will miss coming here on weekends for treats.

Very friendly folks own this location. Lots of really great stuff here! I love the caramel apples and the chocolate dipped cookie dough! They even have chocolate dipped Oreos, rice Krispy treats and more!

I bought a tour Chocolate Tour here and what we got was more of a tasting. The chocolate was 4⁄5 star and the service was 5⁄5 stars. I was just a little disappointed that it was a franchise, the chocolate was not notch as other reviews said, and the tour was really more of a tasting. Overall, it’s a good stop if your in the neighborhood but don’t go out of your way.

This place was awesome. Had a groupon for a chocolate tasting and went with my friend on Wednesday. They were so friendly and gave 8 generously sized samples. They were such big samples we had to take them home. Because the lady that did our sample tasting was so wonderful, my friend and I both left the store with $ 20 worth of chocolate. Not only was it fun, relaxing and educational. The chocolate was amazing and it was fun to learn how they make everything. They had all different kinds of chocolate to try and I guarantee anyone would find something they like here.

This place is great! They came through for our order in an emergency with less than 24 hours notice. Everyone loved the chocolate covered rice crispy treats and the packaging was excellent. Superb product outstanding service.

I bought a chocolate-making workshop session for my mom on Living Social for Christmas. Parking was nearby and easily available, and we were able to grab a quick dinner at Panera nearby. The class started on time, and turned out to be more of a workshop than a class. We had our choice of dark or milk chocolate, and there were two bowls of white chocolate for the table. The owner set out all sorts of mix ins and toppings, and made a few suggestions about what we could try out. This would have been perfect for kids, because it was so easy. What was strange was that our classmates were gone in like 15 minutes. My mom and I lingered, using up all the chocolate and making as many creative combinations as we could muster. We had a great time, but it isn’t quite what we expected. We really just dipped things in chocolate and let someone else clean up the mess. We did enjoy the experience enough to buy a chocolate tasting session at the same place, though.

You have to thank coworkers to luring you to the dark side. For me, that is any kind of candy store. Caramel apples of all sorts, chocolate covered Rice Krispies treats, ½ pound peanut butter cups, toffee, fresh caramels… you get the idea. There’s anything chocolate, sugary, and sweet that you could imagine. For those like me who prefer((more like need)) something sugar-free, I was really happy with their selection. I picked up a couple SF mint meltaway type chocolates and a couple pecan clusters for myself, and some full sugar chocolate covered pretzels and potato chips for the bf. Neither of us were disappointed. I’m not a huge chocolate fan, so one downfall was that I was bummed to see there wasn’t any«gummy» options. Service was really great. The staff was friendly and helpful and was willing to provide samples of anything we wanted to try((which is dangerous)). Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, you make my pancreas cringe with your amazing selection of chocolately and sugary goodness! Ugh. Why must I be diabetic?! Sad face.

I really like the products they sell here — I haven’t had anything I didn’t like. What I didn’t like was the service and how they handled an order for shower favors. They wanted to charge 5CENTS for a cheap ribbon to seal the bags. OK, well how else would you seal them? Metal? It’s not about the money, I mean it came out to like $ 2. I just felt like I was getting nickel ‘n dimed. To top it off, they wanted to put huge stickers of their logo on the favors! I was like«Yeah, that’s NOT happening.»

I was lured into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory after lunch when I saw a sign for chocolate dipped Twinkies for 81 cents! The lady working the shop was really nice and welcoming. She gave us a sample which was really nice! There is a huge variety of chocolate treats(fudge, dipped fruits, and gummies, oh my!) The frozen chocolate dipped Twinkies were delicious as expected. I will definitely be returning!

I had Rocky Mountain come to my home for my daughters birthday party. The girls loved it!!! Linda from Rocky Mountain came to my house with all the supplies including cute bags for the girls to put their creations in! They dipped apples, pretzels, marshmallow’s, Oreos and all sorts of things in chocolate! They also were able to decorate everything with colored frosting, m and m’s and sprinkles galore. Everyone had fun and yes I made my own things too! There was no skipping here at all! Linda brought more then I ever expected it was amazing and they girls had so much stuff !! They ate plenty and had lots to go home also! They truly had a great time and the value for this party was amazing, and don’t let me leave out it all tasted sooooo good! I highly recommend Rocky Road for a party!,

Talking about losing your mind! There is no way that I could work here and I am not a big chocolate fan. Their carmel apples looked delicious. I got some peanut brittle, and white chocolate pretzels. But the Peanut butter cup that weighed about 2 pounds was awsome. I think it was meant to be shared. Right! Thank God this place isn’t near my house.

I’m not a huge sweets fan, so I would not have stopped by this shop had it not been at the suggestion of a friend. My friend, on the other hand, has a sweet tooth that can seroiusly get her in trouble. I sampled several treats and must admit the dark chocolate covered strawberries are oh sooo good. As for my friend she did alot more sampling and raved about everything. I left with strawberries in hand but she left with strawberries, fudge and rice crispy treats. As we were leaving she mumbled«I will be back» and she means it. This is a cute little shop so give it a try. Our small businesses need to be supported.

As close to Door County as you can get without leaving Illinois. I love this store. Cases upon cases of hand dipped apples, strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows and rice crispie treats. They have tons of chocolate and fudge made on site. And SAMPLES! This is a great place to order favors for a shower or wedding or just a gift for those who love chocolate. I don’t want to divulge the damage that we did in this store… but I did go into a chocolate coma.

I went into Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and it seems like your in another state other then Illinois when you go into their store. The atmosphere when you walk in is tremendous. The lady that was running the store was so friendly. The setup of the store is very country. I bought the hand dipped chocolate brownie on a stick and it was some of the best chocolate I have ever had. I bought my mom the chocolate covered Chow Mien Noodles and she loved it. they have excellent gift ideas. I went a few weeks before Halloween so i can imagine what they offer around the Christmas holiday as far as gift ideas. They have the most unique apples covered with all kinds of things. I’m definitely checking them out during the holiday shopping season. if anyone gives tbhis place less then 5 stars, I would be very shocked.
