I had the corriander garlic chicken. Food 6.8, small rock in my food, friends said it may have been the corriander, but when i went to the bathroom, i spat the food into the sink, it was a small rock i found. Service 7, asked for a slice of lemon for my water 2 times, never got it.

Great little setup for anyone traveling. Friendly staff and a nice range of good food dishes at reasonable prices. Quiet atmosphere too.

Don’t go! Food was weird. I was told it is Indian-Chinese. Drenched in brown sauce and loaded with ginger/garlic. The haka noodles was spicy and the chicken Manchurian inedible. I thought I was ordering tea for table(as is done in Asian restaurants) but not here! They brought out three pots of the worst green tea ever. And charged us $ 3 each! And they did not allow us to eat a birthday cake we had brought along with us. Said it was against restaurant policy. Fair enough I guess. We had not read the policy before arriving there, but who does? I’ve never ever had an issue in any other restaurant with bringing my own cake. And lunch was expensive! Stay away.

Excellent. This Panang Curry really hit the spot. I decided to check this place out for lunch and everything was quite tasty. I was surprised to find something so go outside of the city. I recommend checking this pace out if you are in the area. I certainly will be going back!

This is our favorite Indo thai spot. I have been here with my colleagues, friends and family and it has never gone wrong. Their pepper tofu is to kill for. I am the biggest fan of their Singapore noodles. I have tried the so called Indo Chinese’ or Indo Thai at many Indian restaurants but this is by far the best. Their white pepper flavor is awesome. This place is expensive but sometimes u need to pay a little extra to get that level of attention and great flavor of food. I am a vegetarian and I recommend this place to other fellow veggies.

Tasty, though not authentic. I had pad thai with chicken for $ 12, which is a bit expensive. I’d never been asked for spicy level before, so that’s when I was tipped off to the«fusion,» non-Thai cooking style. My best guess is that it’s an Indian-style take on Asian food. It’s good and an interesting take on Asia food, just don’t expect Thai food from Thai people.

The service was good. The staff was attentive and nice. We ordered a variety of food for lunch. The pad Thai was drenched in ketchup, and it does not compare to other pad Thais. The dishes were a bit small for lunch and I would say this place is average.

Vey yummy we loves the shrimp dumplings and chicken spring rolls. My friends loved the Mongolian beef, panang chicken curry, and Hakka chicken noodles. It was a great ambiance and we had a ton of fun! The greatest part is that they were open for Christmas!

Had to update my review. This place just continues to amaze. Hits on all the usual things you should expect. Great service and atmosphere. But the food is just so darn good. Try the dry hakka appetizer, it loaded with flavors that make me drool. I also had the Manchurian chicken balls for the first time, which is shredded chicken loaded with onions and scallions and other amazing things. Got a new dish in my rotation!

This restaurant is my favorite by far in Parsippany! I was in Parsippany on business for a couple of months off and on and visited Mélange four times. The food is the best Asian Fusion I have ever tasted. The service is exemplary. We’ve had 12 in our party: or 8 in our party, etc. and no matter what we get the best service. Everyone loved their dishes. I’ve had the spring rolls, lettuce wraps, cauliflower Manchurian app, Szechuan rice, and several other main dishes I’ve tried. They were all fantastic! If you’re ever in the area, you must go to this restaurant.

Overall the food didnt match with the price. We tried soup, and two entrees. All meals didnt seem natural, there was some gelatin type of ingredient used on all dishes. Also all the meals were on the salty side. The hakka chilli lamb dish was not great. The lamb didnt even taste like lamb, felt like some chicken. That said we cant complain at all about the pleasent and friendly service. However, food was more like fast food, and not worth the price.

We are so happy that our good friend recommended Mélange to us! Moving here from the city to the suburbs of New Jersey it was difficult to find cuisine that we were impressed by… the food, ambience and service is amazing. Definitely one of our favorite spots. Try the calamari appetizer– it’s unique… the lemon coriander soup is deep and delicious, the haka chicken is soooo good, and we just loved the coconut shrimp– don’t let the name fool you it is so unique and delicious! Just divine. Be sure to make reservations they are busy!

Good place when u are craving for indo-chinese(indian style Chinese food). Few may find it bit too spicy. Serving size was okay not too huge or extremely small. Fairly priced. Service can be improved. Only thing people need to know is that they state«gratuity of 18% will be added to your subtotal for party of more than 4 guests«. But it’s sort of lie. They charge 18% gratuity for everyone :-( I was impressed with food so wasn’t bothered much but they should state their policies clearly.

Good food, a bit too pricey though. Would give 5 stars if they gave a little more food for the price of $ 16. They are smart because they give you the entrée but only a tiny cup of rice, so that forces you to buy more rice to mix with the entrée. Don’t appreciate being strong armed into buying more food when the menu says«family style». Please remove this from your menu its false advertising.

Wow. First time here. We absolutely loved it. Food was super fresh and had a very unique flavor. Not overly starchy like most fusion places. We’ll be back!

I came here during the week to grab a quick lunch. I had never been before and didn’t even realize this place was in this particular strip mall(there’s also a Dunkin Donuts and a pizza place). They were busy but not too packed during the lunch hour. I was able to get seated immediately. They pretty much have all of your popular dishes you’d see at most Asian Fusion restaurants. I went with the Pad Ke for lunch. I’m a huge fan of the broad flat noodles. My dish came with a cup of soup. I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure it was some sort of pea soup. It was tasty and had a peppery kick to it. My lunch was a nice size. Everything was pretty fresh and tasted very good. I’d order this dish again. I liked this place and would have no problem returning. The service was pretty quick and efficient.

Eh, this place was nothing special. I was there with four other people. The total bill for the 5 of us came out to $ 125 before tax(1 Thai iced tea, 1 coke, 3 appetizers, 5 entrees). We ordered three appetizers: chicken satay(which I didn’t get to try), crab wontons, and vegetarian spring rolls. The later two were okay, though the spring rolls were over spiced. For entrees, two of us got the stereotypical pad Thai. It had almost a curry on it, and the sauce was just too much. It was heavy and sticky and the noodles were drenched. I agree with another review who said the dishes seem more like Indian takes on Thai. The other three people got different curries on the menu and while nothing was bad, no one seemed to have stellar reviews. While the food was not horrible, I do feel for the price, it was not the quality of food I would expect. All the entrees were around $ 14. I also thought $ 5 for the Thai iced tea was very over priced.

The quality of the food is ok. Dont go if you are in a hurry because they are very slow. There are better asian or thai places around.
