Sad to see them go. The Putting Green was fresh. The BBQ chicken was good. Not a bad deal for $ 8 a pie. I went back during the summer and they had $ 3 pints during happy hour. I haven’t been since, I wonder what happened.

I work across from this restaurant and can see it from my office window. They never really took hold and now are finally CLOSED. They were struggling ever since they opened and started by serving smaller and smaller portions and were staying open shorter and shorter hours, now closed forever.

I’m really disappointed this place closed down: C Its in such a convenient location for PCC students(literally right across the street from Shatford Library!) and their pizzas are pretty darn good. Definitely on par with Blaze and Pieology in my opinion. Where am I going to find a delicious build your own pizza place within walking distance from school now? On another note, I think its really unfair for reviewers to write one star reviews based only on the fact that they weren’t able to use a LivingSocial deal or whatever online deal they purchased for the business. C’mon guys, you didn’t even get a chance to eat there! How is that even a valid basis for writing a negative review? Not that it really matters in this case anymore since the business already closed, but seriously, the worst that can happen in this sort of scenario is that you have to return your deal. Big whoop. At least you can get your money back right? So long Flamzz Pizza. You will be sincerely missed.

The workers were friendly and patient. They are generous with toppings, pizza came out quickly and tasted good. I would come back.

If I could give it negative 1 star I would. I bought a living social deal for this place yet they are never open. I purchased it on 12÷19÷14 and every time i would try to go to the Monrovia location it was closed. I finally gifted the voucher to my daughter because she goes to school near the Pasadena location and she went yesterday and they are also closed. Why would they even sell vouchers on living social to this place? What a waste of my time and money.

Bought a livingsocial deal. Tried to come here three times and the Monrovia location once. Unsuccessful. Went to Monrovia and it was closed for remodeling. Came to Pasadena and first time they had to close early(got there at 830pm). Second time got there at 745 pm and they had to close early. Then third time they were just closed. Decided to get a refund on my livingsocial deal because I didn’t it was worth the money spent on gas trying to catch these guys open. Also from the reviews it doesn’t seem great anyways. Good riddance

I do not recommend this place. A very bad imitation of Blaze Pizza. Place was empty. That should tell you something. Only reason we went was because we had a Groupon, which didn’t work. They are very skimpy on the toppings, which don’t taste great anyways. The soda machine didn’t work. The lemonade was horrible. I personally watched the cook drop a buffalo wing(with sauce) onto the floor and then put it back onto the plate. I was going to throw a hissy fit, but I then saw he was serving it to his himself and his coworkers. I figured they deserved it. I laughed when the lady(maybe the manager) ate it. Still, I won’t go back to a place that has no problem serving food off the floor.

First time we came here and it was empty. Maybe one other person. Staff was sitting down chatting and quickly got up when we walked in. Variety of sauces to choose from. I had regular marinara and the boyfriend put pesto on his. They didn’t have anymore chicken but the other toppings were good. I had mozarella, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onion, olives and jalapenos on mine. Boyfriend got meatballs, bacon, mozzarella and parmesan, garlic, onion, tomato, clamato olives and basil.(His was actually tastier than mine I will have to admit :) Pizza was ready quick. My pizza crust was more flimsy than his was but overall both were good!(Probably because of the type of sauce) Comparable to Blaz, which was the only other«build your own pizza» I ever tried and about the same price. A little extra for gluten free and vegan cheese(which I didn’t get) Service was good with workers greeting you when you walk in and thanking you when you walk out.(Place was clean also) Pizza was $ 7.50 each and the beer we had was happy hour prices. So $ 8 bucks for two. I didn’t see a sign for happy hour but we got there around 7:00pm. And… some guy walked in and took a beer to go! They poured it into a clear cup and he left. Lol. Good to know? I think so. So overall all wasn’t a bad place or experience and I would go back. They were definitely not as crowded as Blaze. But it was a Tuesday. We’ll see how it is another time. Their do it yourself soda machine wasn’t working so people were getting cans. Just FYI.

I cannot express how amazing this place is. I love how I can create my own pizza. I can make it healthy unhealthy and it’s still the same price. Wow !!! All the ingredients and topping for the all one price of $ 7.99. Customer service is great. A lot of young college kids are the ones that serve you super friendly and fast. They also have karaōke at this location. It’s a good place to eat and enjoy a beer also.

I would just as easily give this place 5 stars specifically because of the number of losers rating it down to promote Blaze pizza /other competitors. Regardless, I placed an order tonight. Pizza is delicious, great crust. I will be coming back thanks.

This is turning into my favorite pizza place! Think of this like a higher quality subway, but for pizza. You have all the toppings there and you tell the cook what you want. Best part is, the price never passes 7.50 so you can get as many toppings as you want! I highly suggest and recommend getting the bacon jelly topping if you’re a meat eater, DELICIOUS!!! If you like very very spicy food, try the habanero chicken ;) Also try their cucumber mint lemonade, goes really well with the food! Also the Monrovia location is great too, the owner is super friendly so it makes the vibe very nice.

The chicken bits were NOTFRESH. I was sooo sick to my stomach for the next two days! The crust got burnt black all around the edges and I was left with an OILY mess from the pesto sauce… OILSEEPINGTHROUGHTHECRUSTANDBOX. I much rather go to BLAZE Pizza. There’s no price difference and it’s better quality over there. I feel that the ambiance, taste, and freshness is totally sub-par to BLAZE Pizza and Pizza Rev… This place is no good. Please don’t serve a paying customer OLDMEAT. Quality check your ingredients!!! Go to Blaze or Pizza Rev because their fast-fired pizzas are delicious! More topping choices and FRESHERQUALITY. I will never recommend a place to friends that serves old, spoiled meat nor will I come back to eat.

Pizza is delicious! They have really great beer specials as well. Flamzz is almost identical to Blaze, Pizza Rev, etc. If you haven’t been to one of those, it’s a great concept. You get to build your own pizza for $ 7.50, or choose from some prebuilt ones listed on the menu. It takes about 5 – 7 minutes from start to finish. There are plenty of toppings options from artichoke hearts to mango habanero chicken to 6 different types of cheeses. You can even choose which sauce you want. I went with the spicy marinara, mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar cheeses, topping it off with ham, garlic, onions, artichoke hearts and fresh jalapenoes. They have a few TV’s(6, I think) to watch Sports Center and a whatever games are on. that combined with the great beer prices, you can’t beat this place. The layout for the front of the restaurant is a bit funky, as they have you start the process immediately as you enter the restaurant. this works if you’re not very busy, but once a few people start gathering, you end up with chaos and having to fight your way through a crowd to get in line. It’s located across from PCC, which I believe drives in most of their business. other than that, there is no advertisement. We just happened to find it while walking by. I’m glad we did.

The line was way to long at Blaze Pizza so I decided to give this place a chance. I must say, the crust at Flamzz was exceptionally good. Unlike other pizza places, this place acutally brings you the pizza to your table. They also have $ 3 draft beers. I’m defintely coming back here!

The name bugs the hell out of me, but the pizza was solid. I like that you can pick as many toppings as you want, and they certainly don’t skimp or cheap out on you, even if you go overboard. Of course, going overboard is obligatory. If you’re a «less is more» kind of person with your pizza, you probably won’t be to impressed. If you’re a man like me, you’ll think Flamzz is a-okay.

Wonderful product! Build your own stone-fired pizzas. It’s great for adults and kids alike. Great prices! About $ 8 for a build your own pizza. $ 12 for a pitcher of Lagunitas IPA ‘Happy Hour All Day”. Refreshing lemonade! Raspberry and a delightfully different cucumber mint. Horrible restaurant flow. You begin your order at the end of the counter, which is directly in front of the door. If you have more than 3 people in line, you need to work your way around the crowd to enter the line, or wait outside, releasing that precious SoCal air conditioning. Zero advertising. We happened upon it by chance. Driving or walking by? You’d never know it was there. Disoriented staff. There are a few A+ players here, but most of the time it is chaos. If they’re busy, the staff has a hard time figuring out which pizza goes where. If I ask for some toppings to go on after the pizza is out of the oven(arugula, prosciutto), 80% of the time, they forget. The Pros outweigh the Cons and Flamzz is on our pizza radar.

I stopped by here earlier with a group but I hadn’t actually sat down and eaten a true Flamzz pizza until now. Well it’s awesome. For $ 7.50 you can make your own pizza pie. The crust can be a little thin, but as a native New Yorker, it’s perfect. They have listed pizzas with suggested toppings if you don’t want to make your own(like the Bianca) but hey if you could put anything on your pizza, why choose from a list right? Well anyways, the toppings are plentiful, for both carnivore, herbivore, and omnivore preferences. :) There are a lot of veggies, pretty fresh. There are also a lot of meat options, just a lot of everything. You get to choose your sauce too! And yeah BBQ is an option my friends. The dough is also fresh, made within the hour(you can taste it too!). My order was marinara sauce with all the meat toppings(bacon, pepperoni, and more bacon I lost track), olives, mushroom, and cilantro. The pizza is baked immediately after you choose your toppings, and it actually takes not as much as time you think! Very fast service! Also smells amaaaaaazing. In addition jf you’re having trouble ordering, the girls out front can help you! If you’re a little indecisive, don’t be that shy around here! There are also like 6 TVs here for you to catch ESPN if you want to. Along with beer on tap and dessert(ice cream and cookie) if you need a sugar fix after beer. Very friendly lovely atmosphere!
