I’ve only been here for brunch, so that’s what I’m reviewing here. A good friend from college lives in Pomona and I live in Studio City, so Pasadena seemed to be a solid halfway point. After realizing that this place has $ 3 mimosas, we decided to come here for brunch yesterday. The first thing I noticed is that the prices are insanely low for the quality you get, and the ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. You feel like you’re in a really nice, swanky restaurant but are paying college-student prices. It’s awesome. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was really sweet(even taking a photo for us when we asked, and didn’t make us feel stupid or awkward for asking), and she was prompt. As soon as we walked in, she was ready to help us and was quick about delivering our drinks(and refills!). We did have to wait a little while before we got our bill, but she seemed to have quite a few more tables at that point. We stayed for two hours catching up and there was no indication that they wanted us to hurry up and leave or anything. The $ 3 mimosas and $ 4 pomegranate bellinis are delicious! They don’t skimp on the champagne or the size of the glass — they’re the normal-sized drinks of normal quality for a reduced price. Super yummy and bubbly. The food was fantastic and for so cheap! My friend had the crab cake benedict and loved it, while I had the breakfast panini and really enjoyed it(I’m picky about my breakfast sandwiches too). For the two entrees, with added avocado on mine, and four alcoholic drinks, the bill was around $ 34. Fantastic! I would consider driving to Pasadena from Studio City more often just to have this brunch again.

Great food! Everything I have tried here is great. One of our favorite lunch and dinner spots. Highly recommend the fish tacos!

Anyone who goes to olive garden or any chain restaurant is nuts when you have real Italian places like this around. Great food made with real ingredients and a sophisticated workstaff. The busboy here is very personable and attentive. Good food, great atmosphere and just an overall great experience.

Meh, tried the Nikki’s Trio and was pretty disappointed. Ravioli and pasta ok, but lasagna tasted like it was made last week… very stale and boring. Will give it another shot, as room is comfortable and service good. Definitely not four star.

Breakfast was delicious! I had the crab cake benedict, chilaquiles, and some lentil soup. Of course, we also enjoyed«manmosas», which are stronger/larger versions of the normal mimosa. Loved eveything! The service was slower, but very attentive.

Happened by this little place one evening. What a pleasant surprise. Delicious food, good drinks, great ambiance. The only negative was that shortly after we arrived, they sat an older very loud woman and her party next to us. From then on, we pretty much were unable to carry on a conversation. Not sure if this was avoidable, but it kind of put a damper on our evening as fast as being able to converse. Parking was a but of a challenge, but worth it. Overall a positive experience. We will return. :)

Good: Had no trouble with parking behind the restaurant on a weekday evening. We were seated promptly and given bread and water to start. The bread was AMAZING. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer which was great as well. I would give the dessert 5 stars if I could. We got the tiramisu and the adffogato and both were amazing. I would probably come here just for dessert. Not So Good: I ordered the Fusilli Gianna, which was not good at all. It was so bland and did not taste good at all. I took most of it home and ended up not eating the leftovers. I was really looking forward to it and it was pretty much the reason I came here, but it was very disappointing. My boyfriend was not a fan of his entrée either. Overall, the main dishes were not good, but the rest was great. I would definitely come here again, but I would get something else for my entrée. They were also very attentive with filling our drinks and taking away plates which was nice.

Definitely recommend the Rib Eye steak and Nikki’s trio.(Cork fee is $ 9) On Mondays they have a special for about $ 21 per person, you get an appetizer, main course, and dessert!

We arrive around 6pm on weekday. Little parking lot on the back which i dont think it can accommodate all the guest if its full house. Otherwise, We have good time here. Satisfy with all the food. The service is fast and prompt. Fill out the water quick without request. Check on us here and there. The store even put a little candle on desert for birthday. Thats really nice. They honor Unilocal discount. In additional, We have little incident which one of us lost wallet n cellphone. It ruin our night but the store manager handle it pretty well. Call police, search the bathroom. Leave phone number in case they find anything. Other than parking issue n our little incident, it ia a very good place to go.

The food was very good. Got the fusilli Gianna. service was slow, didn’t get our server until 20 mins after we were already seated. That’s why I’m only giving them 4 stars. But would come back

Visited this place on Veterans Day. Nice and cozy establishment. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. I got the prime rib sandwich(French dip). Only ate half, there was a lot of fat. I would come here to chill and grab a drink.

This restaurant is VERY average at best. I just moved to the area and I pass by Nikki C on my way home on a daily basis. Naturally, it was only inevitable that I visit and sample their cuisine. I ordered the ribeye steak medium-rare. How can anyone mess up steak, right? What I got was medium-well instead and very bland at that. I had to add salt and pepper to taste – well, anything. I can fire up a ribeye at home better than this and I don’t even cook well. And if you can admit that to yourself, then it doesn’t say a lot about the restaurant’s culinary skills does it? So, as it turns out, my first visit shall also be my last. I’ve had better, especially at this price range. I would suggest going elsewhere for a better dining experience. Seriously.

Very dark and depressing atmosphere. We went for a weekend brunch. Menu is rather small, good was just okay, service was just okay. We won’t be back.

Breakfast. Great ambiance and the service with Camella was amazing! Mimosa was cheap for $ 3 a glass. I had the sparkling greyhound and it was good. It didn’t have too much grapefruit. chilaquiles was probably my favorite. The spice and eggs were a good mix. Short rib scramble was good. The meat had good flavor. I added some spice with the meal. Overall I liked it all.

Nikki C’s was a wonderful surprise. There are so many good Pasadena restaurants, but we let Unilocal show us new places. The first surprise was that the Wednesday we were there was half price wine night. We usually share an appetizer and an entrée and sometimes the waiter does little to accommodate us. But here they went out of their way to make it easy. The split the salad and the entrée and served us good sized portions. We had the calamari, nicely fried with two sauces. We then had Pescatora pasta which was a good combination of shrimp, scallops, clams, whitefish in a tomato sauce. Very fresh and tasty. I wish I could remember our waiter’s name because he deserved a callout for his attentive service. In fact all the servers were good. If you are in the area we fully recommend this place.

Very nice date atmosphere, a little pricey for the quality. Most of the food at the table was great. Not to thrilled about the pasta I ordered but the Kobe burgers and appetizers we had were delicious.. Waitress corked our wine bottle but it was an old bottle so no harm, however they didn’t have a nice wine decanter to pour it into, they used a juice style one to put wine in.. so they will have to work on that. If you are going to charge a corkage you need to know what you are doing when handling wine. … just saying. Parking is a lol difficult but doable. It wasn’t a totally bad experience we had a great time and heard they have a good brunch so I will try it again!

Nikki C’s was a dining pleasure. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Located in beautiful Pasadena. Look to the left and you can almost touch the mountains. Nikki’s has ample parking in front and back. I love the front of the restaurant, it’s very inviting. Nicely manicured plants in beautiful pots. The door has a sexy curved handle. Black and white. Simple yet elegant. The inside is well decorated. Hand painted art on wall and alot of different framed pictures. Some pictures have Italian themes, nice touch since it’s an Italian restaurant. Dining area was dimly lit. Bob marley music was playing. Very neat and clean. Someone invested alot of time and money in the décor. It has a warmth about it with a touch of class. Kate was my hostess and server. She was very sweet and informative. Since it was my first visit she gave me a list of favorites. She knew her menu and actually has eaten from it. It’s always good when a waitress actually can tell you the ingredients and how the item taste. The food was very pleasing to my taste buds. I ordered the” Green on Green”, with grilled chicken sandwich with homemade pasta salad. The flavors were balanced. I was very satisfied with portion size. Visually the plate was gorgeous. It looked great but tasted better. I got chocolate Gelato for dessert. Nice touch by serving it in a coffee cup with a strawberry and mint leaves. I can tell the chefs are passionate about the food. I have put Nikki C’s on my list of favorites. I love Nikki C’s!!!
