Me and my wife love this place! Hands down they have the best pizza in town. And I love their chicken ceaser salad. This is a family owned business who cares about their customers.

MAKESURETHEDELIVERYGUYGIVESYOUTHEBILLSOYOUKNOWWHATTHETOTALIS. 1 Stars is for the food and only the food… They used to have a different delivery guy who was good, but this new guy they have delivering is crap. TWICE I have caught him marking up the bill giving me a different total than the one quoted to me by whoever took my order and even different from the total on the receipt. I have worked service and generally tip above 25% for everything but I also know when I am given two different totals. So to mark up my bill $ 2.50 or something like that doesn’t even make sense, but when you do that’s all your going to get… Had 8 bucks waiting for you on that $ 30 dollar tab but if you want that $ 2.50 that bad… its yours. So I tried to call and inform the owner or who I guess was the owner and tell him what his driver was doing the subsequent denial and argument for what I had just experienced convinced me that Romeo’s Pizza neither deserves nor will receive my patronage.

Got a cheese slice. Very basic no frills pizza. I ordered a reheated plain slice so I can’t really give a full review. Service was good, and they had a football game on tv. Good local spot.

Craving a tasty pizza, i searched up restaurants near the Guitar Center. The photographed pizzas on Unilocal appeared to be pretty appetizing, so we visited this fine little establishment. Upon entry we were greeted with a friendly welcome, warm smiles, and a great aroma. Ordered a bbq chicken pizza, ate it, and LOVED it. I’m very eager to pay them another visit and would recommend to anyone in or out of the area.

Oh man, this place is too good. Two slices and a soda for 6 dollars. I won’t say it’s as good as NYC pizza, but it’s about as close as I’ve gotten. And they sell«by the slice».

Ordered a calzone for delivery at work. Got it with pepperoni, ham, and extra cheese. The amount of pepperoni and ham seemed like the amount you would get if you folded a pizza in half. More of the meat would have been done wonders. I thought it was okay. The mid section of the calzone is really good, but I don’t think it’ll be a go to for lunch for me. Every so often I’ll probably crave a calzone and this will be on my radar.

I usually order double mozarella cheese with pepperoni and its always good. I used to go to Sbarro’s but that was too far. There was one other place in Monrovia I would go to for pizza but now Romeo’s is the one. I’ve been here about 8 or 9 times in the past 3 months and really love it. I’m going there later today and going to update my reviews some time after that. I usually order a small pizza with double cheese and 1 topping of pepperoni. They are very generious with the toppings and always greeting me with a smile. The place is small. I think there are only 5 or so tables to sit and eat, but it works for me. I often stop by on a break from work/projects. I always get it to go, although sometimes I don’t get called back in and can actually sit and enjoy my lunch there. I can’t say anything about the other food items there, as I only order the pizza.

I order the spaghetti and meat sauce dinner with salad and garlic bread on Sat. evening April 25. It was the worst spaghetti I have ever had except when my little boy used to eat Chef Boy-R-Dee. The pasta was soggy and sauce tasteless, the meat virtually nonexistent. I’ve order pizza from Romeo’s before but there must be new owners because this was not edible. I threw it out. Joan Newman

Pizza is great for the price. They offer a gluten free pizza which is great. The owner is a great guy. Very fast service. I am picky when it comes to eating pizza having grown up on the east coast where pizza is on a completely different level. I only go there for the pizza. I can’t recommend anything else. I almost eat the whole pizza myself every time I go. I started limiting myself to one time a week.

This family owned gem is a must try at the southwest corner of San Gabriel Blvd and Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. Great made to order pizza and they have slices ready if you’re in a hurry. Good specials and definitely one of the best pizzas in Pasadena. A bit more pricey than the chains but worth every extra penny. Love supporting a local business that really cares about the food they produce and cherishes their customers.

I stopped by Chase Bank and I was very hungry. I went around the bank to get to the corner and found this little pizza place. This is my first time here and I was very impressed and I have to say that this pizza is EXCELLENT! I had a single slice with a soda and it didn’t cost me much. That is FANTASTIC! the crust is very very good and everything on the pizza tastes great. I will definitely be stopping by this place more often now that I found it. Next time I will try a whole pizza and I hope it will taste just as good. I Will provide an update then and if my experience is the same then I will give this place 5 stars. I definitely recommend it! :-) .

Unfortunately I can’t say that I agree with the reviews that first brought me to this place. For $ 16 I received a personal pizza and garlic bread. The garlic bread was less impressive than what I usually buy at Costco and less than half the size. I ordered the pizza that was most often ordered from the menu and added pineapple for some flare. The pizza itself was a hefty weight so I was pretty excited. The initial presentation was a bit off as the toppings weren’t really distributed evenly but clustered in the middle of the pizza. The first slice of pizza I couldn’t really taste much. The crust was not really crunchy, the pizza kind of warped in on itself when I tried to lift it, and the toppings didn’t really have any flavor other than the pineapple. While this wouldn’t really be a big deal usually, my $ 16 could feed 2 – 3 people at other pizza joints around town so I was pretty disappointed. Other than that, parking isn’t that bad, the folks who work there seem pretty cool folks and it’s got that mom and pop type of feel.

Service was quick due to individual slices being available to order immediately. Guy at the counter was friendly. The wings taste a lot like the ones that are microwaveable from costco and most likely wouldn’t order those again.

I love pizza and this place was close to my sisters home. I often do not eat pizza, so excited to have a slice or two. To my dismay, was not that great. Why? Crust, plain, no flavor. Red sauce, need a bit of salt. Cheese allows bland. Mushrooms did not taste fresh. Overall, pizza was lacking flavor with the exception of garlic. Delivery on time. Customer service great and man who delivered pizza friendly. I had no expectation of this place, would love my food to have flavor not just from the garlic.

I’m always on the lookout for new pizza places to try, so when I noticed the reviews for Romeo’s, I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread, and both were OK, but nothing special. For my tastes, the pizza was a bit undercooked and doughy. It wasn’t bad; in fact, I’m a fan of whatever sauce they use. Still, it could’ve used a little more time in the oven considering how overly chewy it was. The cheesy garlic bread was fine, but it didn’t have much of a kick.

This place is a hidden gem, so hidden you might just drive right by without a second glance on your commute down Colorado Blvd. I am a pizza aficionado, and came here with my friend who so charmingly calls himself«The Baron of Pizza». Needless to say we are both PIZZAFREAKS and Romeo’s Pizza did not disappoint! We ordered the small pizza(half pepperoni, half sausage) and two drinks which cost us just south of $ 12. Not bad for feeding two people! We were going to order the special($ 4.99 for two slices and a can of coke) but it was no longer being served. The pizza was delicious, and I will be rating it on the components of crust, marinara, cheese, and topping. Crust: Perfectly cooked! Slightly crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The interior reminded me of biting into a pretzel. It was unique, and I loved it! There aren’t any fancy seasonings added to it, so it just tastes like really good bread. Marinara: This was probably my favorite part, it was deliciously tangy! Just enough oregano as well! Cheese: The mozzarella had such great flavor! I love it when the cheese is a little chewy when it gets colder. Topping: Probably my least favorite part of the pizza, but still good. The sausage had a game-y taste to it, like frozen pizza would, but still edible. My friend really enjoyed his half(Pepperoni) and says it was perfectly cooked and not dripping with grease. Very little grease or oil is used in the pizza, and absolutely none on the crust, which I enjoyed! They rely solely on their quality ingredients as opposed to loading the pizza up with fattening additives for taste. Definitely ordering or stopping by Romeo’s again!

I’ve tried pizzas from all around Pasadena, in vain, until ROMEO’s won hands down. We’ve tried ‘em a few times now(once by delivery), and today we’re gonna try their sub/italian sandwiches(Drive-In theater time!) I prefer a pizza with a medium thin crust, with JUST A FEW good, fresh toppings, and real — not industrially grated/sliced — cheeses and sausages etc., and it needs to be be easy enough(right crust and not overloaded) to pickup and eat by the slice. Romeo’s pizza fits teh bill, it’s very good, you can tell they care about their product, unlike so many pizza joints run by kids and managed by nobody who cares beyond the bottom line.

The price is right, though the quantity is lacking. The pizza taste store bought and frozen. Though I doubt it is. That’s what I tasted. I received a reheated pepperoni, the was way too hot with the pepperoni added to a cheese slice afterwards and a Luke warm cheese pizza. The place was clean. My biggest issue was that I was the first customer of the day and this was my experience.
