Most delicious of all the new do it yourself Pizza places i’ve tried. None of the others compare in taste to Pizzarev

Huge fan of this place! Tried ‘em all; Pieology, Blaze, etc. Pizza Rev is the freshest, cleanest & most generous. Never a problem when I want a little extra of a topping. This location exact! LBC is cool but we prefer this one. Always will drive the extra miles for Pizza Rev in Pasadena! Two thumbs up!

Delicious wood fired pizza, but overpriced! Even Blaze is cheaper! Besides the prices, I love the fact that you can add as many toppings as you want without additional charge. So pile up! The pizzas are really good, I love the charcoal flavor, it adds a nice rustic taste. There is a touch screen Coca Cola machine with an extensive variety of choices, but some of the odder flavored like Vitamin water raspberry tastes flat. Like all restaurants this place gets crowded, and the tables are first come first serve and they call your name when the pizzas are ready. There is a nice big parking lot, and close sidewalks open to parking. Also, a great way to end a day of shopping across the street!

Loved it. Excellent gluten free crust and fantastic yummy toppings. Service was super friendly and all smiles and quick. Next time I’m in town I will be heading back over there again.

I prefer coming here than going to other fire grill pizza places, even I have to drive a few more miles. Besides being more spacious and having better services, the pizza taste delicious with lots of toppings and fresh ingredients. My baby loves coming here too!

This company is cheating its guests by downsizing the size of the crust and charging more for it. Male employee was touching his face, rubbing his eyes while handling food. He didn’t offer a receipt. I spoke with Matt that the Corporate Offices for this so-called chain. Matt offered no explanation, no apology, nothing. This company plans to expand nationwide? Good luck! By the way, the use the exact same size equipment for the dough as Blaze. Blaze seems to have it together.

Went here today. Been to a few places like this in Pasadena. I actually enjoyed this more than Blaze and better prices than the other place in old town that I ended up spending $ 27 on a single pizza(forgot name) Only $ 13 for a pizza as I wanted it and a house salad! I’ll be back

I am updating my review as this will now be my last visit here. Who charges a dollar extra for a fountain drink on a kid meal & then gives you a broken pencil to sign your cc receipt and just stands there looking at you? I’ll tell you who — the people(person) at Pizza Rev. Used to be amazing service. Tonight I felt like a meaningless number. Too bad. So long Here is my original review from a couple months ago :( We love Pizza Rev! Build your own pizza with super fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection in an open-flame stone-hearth oven. Kids meals are fun & easy. Everyone is very accommodating & flexible. Plus they are full of welcoming smiles. Love coming herewith my kids and friends!

I like PizzaRev, the pizza is tasty. My issue is with the young girls that work there. They have such a miserable disposition. They seem to not want to be there and are not friendly or helpful. On two occassions, I was greeted by an angry looking bunch that have difficulty speaking and answering questions. If you do not like customer service, I get it. Its tough smiling all day, so get a new job — or start being helpful, smile, and fake being friendly. Another issue I had is with the dirty sink in the mens room. It has a layer of scum that can use some scrubbing. It takes at least 2 weeks to develop scum like that. Please be more diligent about cleaning.

Great service and great pizza every time! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Price is also very decent, I recommend the build your own pizza, so you can really design your pizza the way you want. Salads are good too, I always order them, and their desserts are so delicious! The Oreo cookie pizza is delicious!

Excellent, one-price pizza – no worrying over extra charges(unless you want vegan cheese or gluten-free dough). You can take one of their pre-listed ones and tweak it to your liking, or start from scratch and make it up yourself. The staff is fun and clearly happy to be working there(always a good sign), and happy to suggest topping combinations and add-ons for you. They throw it in the oven and it’s done in minutes. Usually I’m not fond of «thin-crust pizza», but I suspect that’s because I’ve had sub-quality ones.(It always tastes like a piece of slightly burnt poster board with sharp edges that will end up jabbing you in the gums at some point.) This was excellent – a freshly backed cracker or flaky tortilla with fresh toppings on it. There’s soda, iced tea, beer, wine, and some desserts we didn’t have room for, but that’s o.k.: we’ll definitely be back.

One of my close friend made me crave for pizza the other day so now I want pizza! I came here on a weekday, it wasn’t busy at all. PizzaRev is one of those Create Your Own Pizza places. They also serve salads and desserts. You can create your pizza or choose one of their already put together pizzas. If you don’t want pizza, you can also craft your own Entrée Salad. Each employee is stationed, 1) Choose the dough and sauce, 2) Choose the cheese, and 3) Toppings(meat and vegetables). Then the pizza is placed in a stoned oven. After paying, they will call your name when the pizza is ready. Music is playing while you eat your pizza. ~Note: $ 2 extra for gluten free dough. When you choose gluten free dough the staff will ask if it’s preference or allergy. :Food: My daughter got a regular pizza with all-natural Italian Cheese, red sauce, spicy pepperoni, tomatoes, and mushrooms. I got gluten free pizza, all-natural Italian cheese, red sauce, spicy pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, and artichoke heart. The crust of my pizza was over done and the gluten free pizza had this after taste; I can’t explain it. The toppings didn’t taste fresh. ( ) ( ) :Dessert: My daughter got the Red Velvet Cake Monkey. It was wrapped in foil and inside is a round mini cake with chocolate on the outside, red velvet cake, and vanilla cream(I think). I took a bite and I thought it was dry. It was just«ok». :Customer Service: Friendly and quick. :Rating: I am giving 3 Stars because I’ve been to better create your own pizza places. This place didn’t satisfy my pizza craving. My daughter and I wanted to sit at the booths but they were dirty. :M’s Notes: ~Kids Pizza available(children 9 and under) — Kids size cheese or pepperoni pizza, apple sauce or Oreo Cookies, and Milk or Apple Juice Box. ~They have the cool Coke digital machine ~Indoor and Outdoor Seating ~Fire pit outside ~Serve Beer and Wine ~Catering available ~Order Online ~Parking lot

I was turned onto creating my own pizza, in a chipotle-like atmosphere at Pieology in Azusa. When I moved to Pasadena, I realized I no longer lived close to a Pieology but did live close to this place. I definitely wasn’t disappointed when I tried to this place. There are three things that set this place apart form Pieology. Number one they have a better selection of toppings, number two, they have beer! The third thing I appreciate about PizzaRev over Pieology, is their option to create your own designer salad, using the pizza toppings.

Wowza, with the advent of all these customizable pizza places — it’s hard to keep track of what sets each of them apart. I’ve had Pieology and Blazed, but I think I have my favorite now in PizzaRev, one sample size not withstanding. On a whim, I ended up here. I entered, got a half and half pizza, and it came out deliciously loaded with toppings. Entire pizza staff went all out with the toppings, without me having to ask. Lots of cheese — I opted for mozzarella, feta, and ricotta. Ricotta cheese is bomb! Next up was the meat selection which was so plentiful — good idea starting with meats first than vegetables. They had pulled pork which was their monthly special. They also had 3 different types of pepperoni — spicy, regular, and beef. Dude, they even had anchovies and capers. Was I dreaming? Added a fountain drink. They had those freestyle machines, which allows even more drink customization. I got to make my universally disliked but personally adored mix of coke orange, coke cherry, and regular coke. Then, to top that, they had a slew of sauces just asking to be grabbed — and upon further inspection, two of them were their own branded sauces. The garlic habanero sauce = mad good. Walked to their nice-looking outside patio and gorged. Mhmm, the red sauce and the crust. Ended up completely full and satisfied after 4 slices. Plus leftovers, that’s a great value. Yes i know I may have gone overboard with the toppings, but don’t fault me — stuff looked good. Thoroughly surprised, I didn’t think it could be done any better.

I was greeted right away. People were very nice and happy to serve you here. The food was great and amazing. I am super happy the last place flopped. The pizza was made right away and was totally freash. Its too bad they are far away from me. Every thing was done right and just an all around great experience. Great job here!!!

I used the Unilocal app option to order and I think it comes in handy if you are coming by during busy lunch hours. For 8.25 $ you can create your own pizza(6 slices). (+): –So many options! Fresh homemade dough, 35 toppings, all natural cheese, and gluten-free/vegan options as well! There are also different types of hot sauce including Sriracha. Toppings were fresh. –There are also other options like salad, cookies, etc. (-): –No eating utensils easily available. Would come back again.

Our first time here one of the employees haves us an introduction and we were on our way to creating our very first pizza. They were really generous with their portions. After paying and being seated, one of the managers, Chris, brought over our pizza and asked if we needed anything else. Later on he came over and asked us how we were doing and brought over a PizzaRev scratcher and we got two complimentary drinks. Overall the customer service is excellent, great environment, pricing is under $ 10. I would recommend coming here for a quick bite or with a group. Thank you Chris for being so welcoming and helpful! We will definitely be returning in the future :)

I wasn’t so sure about PizzaRev only because I went to a create-your-own-pizza kind of place where it was just decent(sorry, Pieology). Now that I’ve been here a few times, I can honestly say that this place is pretty damn good. I like how they have more sauces to choose from rather than your regular red sauce, and they even have vegan cheese which made it easier to bring my cousin here with me. I was surprised to see that they had beef pepperoni and/or beef sausage each time I paid a visit because I don’t like pork; so, I’m glad they had more beef options other than that average meatball. If you decide to not create your own, they also have some of their combinations of ingredients ready-made so you don’t have to think about what you want to get, really. Either way, it’s all $ 7.99 and it’s cool how you can have as many toppings as you want and with as many different types of cheese, too. The pizzas are made pretty quickly and so the wait won’t be long. They also have Jones soda along with regular fountain drinks. After finishing your pizza, you can walk it off and shop at Best Buy across the street but I prefer Ulta. Lol
