The«go to» place in east Pasadena. Switched to Cathe when Lee(the previous owner) retired and have not had any one else cut my hair since. Great ambiance! Prices are reasonable. Be sure to give it a try.

My go to place to get a haircut. Very reasonable price considering the talent and professionalism they posses. Wendy cut my hair and I will be returning to her. Just communicate and tell them what you want, or would like and they will try their best to give you the cut you want. It’s a very clean shop, well decorated, plenty of parking on the street or an adjacent street.

Sir Guys has been an East Pasadena institution for at least thirty years. The barbering is excellent and the ambiance is «old fashion barbershop mixed with Rock and Roll. They have great 60’s art on the walls. Cathe at Sir Guys has cut my hair for many years. She is professional, and great fun. The other barber is Gary and although he has never cut my hair he always fun to see and has lots of repeat customers.

The Unilocal reviews of Sir Guys let me there and I had a really good experience. I’ve done salons, and strip mall chain stores, but I really prefer a barber. Sir Guys is a classic — real hair cuts for real people. I’m very happy with a sharp look, neat and trim. Gary cut my hair and I’d be very happy to go back to him. This is the kind of place where you can specify who you want, and there’s no charge for that.

Great place! I happened in by accident from out of town and this friendly barber shop accommodated me immediately. I got a great cut and a good price(20.00) I left looking better than when I walked in. Gary is a talented professional.

Mike’s been my man for years, can’t imagine going anywhere else at this point. I’ve never had my hairs cut by Gary but I like rapping with him since we’re both rednecks! A great place for me to rant about liberals and other foolishness that is wrecking our country, and get a great haircut while I’m ranting.

I’m going to agree with the other reviewer — Gary is as good as it gets for the money. There are other barbers there but I’ve never tried them, as there’s no need with Gary behind the clippers. The man knows his way around a head of hair, and more importantly knows how to listen to his customers. That’s really hard to find when you’re in this place’s price range($ 18 for a normal men’s haircut), but Gary is like a diamond in the rough. The shop itself is always clean, and there’s easy parking on the street or right next door(I recommend going on the weekends so you don’t have to worry about getting towed by the Chinese restaurant next door). As for appointments, my impression is that they’re preferred but not required. I didn’t have one the first time I went, but since then I’ve called and made them. At the very least it ensures that there’s no waiting time. All in all, a great place that I will continue to frequent as long as I’m in Pasadena.
