Love the food but hard to order when u close before posted times. Called @7:45 and already closed, closing was 8 pm. Previous time I called around the same time he «did me a favor» by taking my order.

The calzone is «momma mia» good, as is the pizza. We really enjoyed the freshness of the dough and ingredients. The quality was evident and the owner was super nice.

Best calzone on the central coast. Great pizza, Steve has been at it for what? 30 years? The CC special is piled high (all meat all veggie) the Grecian (white sauce tomato bell pepper feta olive) and Tuscan (pesto chicken sundried tomato artichoke red onion) are good gourmet pizzas (I’m talking to you buzzed wine tasters from LA/​SF) keep it at pepperoni and olive calzone though, it’s the most basic, delicious experience here!

I have been eating pizza from here for as long as I can remember. And I can honestly say that this is the best pizza that I have ever had, and I think I ever will have. The pizzas themselves are expensive. However I would gladly spend double to have pizza from Chubbys. I would highly recommend it.

Back around 1999, when I was in high school, my girlfriend’s mom won free pizza for a year from Chubby’s. Of course we were the primary benefactors of that prize and that was a great year! Chubby’s pizza is flavorful and always cooked just right. This place is among my favorite pizza places anywhere.

This is an expensive pie, but the customer service is good! We decided to pick up, as when we ordered on a Friday night, the delivery time was estimated at an hour and a half. Would be nice if they had more delivery vehicles. The pizza itself was good, not as much cheese as I recalled it having when I was a kid, but definitely still a solid pizza pie.

Chubby Chandler’s Pizza is the best pizza I have had in Paso Robles. I definitely will go back.
I had the Mexican Pizza and it had lots of vegetables and was fresh and hot.
The price was reasonable.
They only have outdoor dining tables available. I presume most of their orders are take out.

I came here after an obstacle course race ready to devour some pizza. This place was great. The pizza was great, fresh, hot, and crispy crust. The service was outstanding. The man brought us water out of his kindness probably seeing how disheveled we looked and the fact that 3 men ordered 3 pizzas. He was close to closing but didn’t rush us and was very hospitable and kind. Overall a great experience with great pizza to boot. If I’m ever in the area again I am going back for sure!

Best Pizza in Paso, hands down. The Calzones are amazing, the Deep Dish Pizzas delicious. Chubby’s has been bringing delicious, fresh Pizzas since I was a Kid, and it’s the only place I order Pizza from in Paso. NOM.

This place was a nice suprise from Unilocal where the reviews are true. I ordered a veggie calzone to split with my spouse and it was huge. The ratios were perfect inside but what I was most impressed with was the bread! It was not heavy but a great density. It actually had a good flavor all of its own. The prices are great if you are on a budget/​student or hungry man. The place has outdoor seating.

Eat pizza and watch the train — Chubby’s is right near the tracks. The patio is comfortable, even in the heat of summer. My favorite is the Grecian — sometimes I get it gluten free. They are always so nice, and even cook the pizza a little longer the way I like it. HIghly recommended!

There are many people that really enjoy this pizza. For me, I have tried it several times and every time I find it greasy, extremely thick/​heavy and it gives me a stomach ache afterwards. Hopefully it is just me. I love the cute little location and the people seem really really friendly. So, that is just my opinion…

Went there for lunch today and had a chicken, artichoke, white sauce calzone. Great value for the money! Worth the 10 minute wait as it was made to order. It was big, the right amount of toppings, cheese was perfect. Crust was soft, chewy, and just a little bit crispy on the outside. Baked to perfection. The one thing that would have made the calzone absolutely perfect: a side of marinara. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a great lunch in a lovely quaint outdoor setting!

With kids, I end up eating plenty of pizza. Although none of our Paso pizza places is amazing, Chubby’s is my favorite. However, it’s not a great place to sit and eat. Outdoor tables are all that’s available. All of my experiences have been delivery, which has always been pretty fast and friendly.

The lunch calzone is perfect — Perfect for two people — Lots of goodies and the cheese was perfect. It takes a few minutes — as in freshly made — and is worth the wait. I will be coming back for more on my pizza days! (Which could be any day!) Thanks for lunch. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing!
