Rather unhelpful staff who refuse to let us have a salad because they are a half hour until close while the salad bar is still open.

Avoid their penne chicken Marsala. Super salty and the sauce tastes as though it came from a mix that you just add water too. Garlic bread is yummy. Won’t be back.

So far so not good. We walk in. Only one waitress and we had no idea that we had to order the pizza and they bring it to our table. No one noticed us when we walked in and no suggestion that we should order first then be seated and so three parties got here after us. This pizza better be good that is all I got to say for now.
Verdict: so okay pizza supposed to have sauce on it right? The sauce was practically non-​existent. The sauce is my favorite part. Disappointing. I had to order a side of sauce just so I can taste the «world famous red sauce».
Again, the waitress. She plopped the salad and pizza on our table without a word. Well needless to say we tried this place once and will not return.

Been going here for as long as I can remember! Maybe about a year ago I wasn’t so happy with them, but they’ve definitely made a comeback.
This is the best pizza in all of Paso as long as you eat it inside the restaurant. Pizza is always best super fresh straight out of the oven. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, the cheese and melty and delicious, topping are fresh… I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. And of course the best part, the crust is nice and crispy so the pieces aren’t all floppy! I don’t know what kind of ranch dressing they use or what their recipe is, but I could literally eat it by itself because it tastes so good.
The staff has gotten so much better than it had been in the past. They’re very friendly and attentive and will clean up tables as soon as someone leaves so that another customer will be able to have a seat.
The only complaint I would have is that very frequently they accidentally put diet pepsi in the regular pepsi soda machine slot. Yuck! Really not too important, though.
Overall this is the pizza place of my choice especially since I live a short walk away. They definitely get super packed on the weekends so watch out for that.
Oh and yes, GET THE KITCHEN SINK! Best combo EVER!

That’s pretty much how most of my conversations go when people ask me what’s a good restaurant in town. PPK just rates higher than the rest in my opinion.
This review is about their take out option. I’ve eaten inside many times and have always been impressed with the staff’s service. They are always keeping themselves busy when I come in during a lull, the place is pretty clean and they are never short on friendliness. I always try to tip them very well because of this.
Their take out service was great. I called in, was greeted by a friendly employee who read back to me two times what I ordered. I liked that. It showed that they wanted to double check they got it right. They did the same thing when I picked up my delivery. Whomever trained the employees did a good job.
My take-​out was quick, the toppings were fresh and the pizza smelled amazing. Within ten minutes my date had consumed 2 slices of our medium Kitchen Sink pizza and was dying with love for the crunchy crust, the freshness of the ingredients, and the amazing signature PPK taste. It became an instant favorite of his.
Also, please, please, PLEASE love yourselves and get their Kitchen Sink pizza. Don’t fart around with just pepperoni or extra cheese. No. Treat yourself. Kitchen Sink or nothing. You won’t regret it, I promise you! :)

Perfectly filling lunch meal

Very very disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again. Almost 2 hrs of a wait for 1 lrg pizza they said would take 45 min. I call to make sure my order is still coming, girl says he left 15 minutes ago… I live about 8 minutes away. We’ve had a couple drinks which is why we couldn’t pick up ourselves. He gets here, pizza is cold, disgusting, pizza is also missing ingredients, and the ingredients that were on there were very skimpy. He didn’t even bring the ranch they charged me for and when we asked for crushed peppers, he claimed he didn’t have any. We ended up just throwing it away after a couple bites off one slice. Ugh! Totally frustrated. Farwell ppk, you used to be our favorite. We will now be switching to Marv’s pizza or Chubby’s from now on. but never again PPK. Before readers think I’m being too harsh… this is the third time in a row the pizza we ordered here was horrible.

Personally I think this is the best pizza place in paso robles and maybe even the Central Coast. Why?
1. Fresh toppings — you can tell the toppings are cut fresh and it tastes healthy!
2. Not a fan of white sauce but their white sauce is AMAZING. It’s actually delicious — you have to try it.
3. From salami to pepperoni to their chicken all their meats taste fresh and great. The chicken pieces are so big compared to your average dominos or Pizza Hut toppings and doesn’t taste «a day old».
4. I appreciate that they don’t mess up my order. I come from a family that all has various taste. We always end up swapping toppings, adding items. Doing half pizza one kind and half another. It’s never surprising people mess up our order– but not ppk!
5. Quick service. Called just the other day and pizza was ready in 20 minutes!
6. I’ve dined in about twice here and I liked the service. It was busy too when I went and the staff was attentive and quick. I have no complaints.
7. The selection of the menu is phenomenal– there are so many speciality pizzas with such interesting touches and tastes. I never know which one to chose!

This wasn’t our first visit but will be our last. The management seems to have changed along with the clientele. Non employees were observed entering the kitchen area and just wandering about the restaurant. Children who seemed familiar with the employees helped themselves to croutons and sunflower seeds from the salad bar– using their hands. The employees were friendly and helpful but the service slow.

We’ve ordered from here several times and are never disappointed. The owners and staff of this establishment are awesome, and the pizza is too! I know this is a short review, but what more should be said when the food and service speak for themselves?!?

Well I slipped and fell and hurt myself in this place today. I love this place and come here all of the time and always love it. Today there was no napkins no ice in the ice machine. Tomatoes and water on the floor that I didn’t see and slipped on. It’s been about 20 minutes now and it the pain is awful. Not a single restaurant employee came to see if I was okay only my boyfriend and a person sitting there eating.

This spot has a great menu of sandwiches and pizza. I was here during a quiet time so service was fast and the server was friendly.
I had a Philly cheese steak and it was tasty and filling.
They local Firestone ales and beers on tap.
Yes I’d return here as this was a positive experience.

The staff was really nice, the inside seems nice and open despite having seating for a ton of people. Good dinner specials and half off pitchers of beer on Sunday’s?! Yes!
The pizza was better than Marv’s but not as good as Bravo’s in Atascadero.
The people working seemed to be a bit flustered but despite that were very polite and helpful.
The antipasto salad was okay, not enough meat/​cheese/​olives, etc. and too much iceberg, but it was fair.
The hot wings were standard fare, and nothing to try again.
Though that being said, I would eat the pizza again. It was fine.
It was a nice place with polite helpful staff and food that you wouldn’t mind eating again. Can’t beat that in Paso.

Ordered two pizzas for delivery at 7:50 pm asked for paper plates and parmesan cheese. Dodnt even get napkins. The order took a hour and a half to get our food and it was wrong. Horrible

Our first mistake was that we were trying to find a pasta place in the area and the other Italian restaurants didn’t open until later. We ordered two pasta dishes (pesto tortellini, vodka penne shrimp). The tortellini dish was so small — maybe just over 1 cup of food. My husband was trying to carb up for a 100 mile bike trip, so I gave him part of mine. Flavor was OK on both. The vodka sauce tasted like store-​bought and the shrimp (5) were rubbery and overcooked. The food aside, the restaurant was pretty quiet (4 tables were full when we arrived) but the tables were not clean. Maybe a rush had just left. An employee was in a corner booth with a group of people and two little boys spent our entire time there running everywhere in the restaurant, helping themselves to drinks, going in and out of the back room, sometimes coming out with salad bar food in their hands. Hardly relaxing to have a meal, even in a pizza restaurant, when kids are running everywhere. After finishing, we went to a popular steakhouse nearby and shared a couple of happy hour appetizers since we were still hungry. Should have started at the steakhouse.

The restaurant itself has a pretty laid back environment. It’s the kind of place you would go to watch a game (in our case, we were watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup).
Their pizza is outstanding! Their white sauce is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the ingredients are just right. Our service was also top notch. We had a specific order in which we wanted the pizza to be white sauce, but they gave us red sauce instead. To show how apologetic they were, they not only made us the pizza that we wanted, but they also let us keep the red sauce pizza.
All in all, we had excellent service from this restaurant and I do intend to drop by again.

They have a thin crust chicken pizza that is delicious and I enjoy their spicy chicken wings. I have never dined in the restaurant. It was a good place for the occasional pizza delivery, however. Enjoy!
