Oh. My. Gawd. Marv’s pizza is the best in Paso. The place can be VERYVERY busy, which some find frustrating. Make time for it. My favorite pie? Chicken and artichoke with garlic white sauce. Oh yeah! Like everything around the park… Parking is a b*tch tho.

Similar to Pizza Hut… Not awful but could be better…

Pizza was so expensive and the crust was chewy and hardly cooked. I’ll have to put it in the oven and finish it myself. Not worth the money at all!

So, is the pizza good? Yes. Is the pizza great and worth the price you pay for it? Absolutley not. The prices are so inflated and the quality not so worth it, that I have zero plans on returning to Marv’s. For the money and quality, I will pick Fatte’s pizza any day.

Really awesome pizza, it was recommended to us by a local. I love the crust especially! Good to know it’s been around for a while! When I went to pick up my order, the owner was the cashier. She was super nice and welcoming!

Staff is unfriendly. Way over priced. Ordered a large combo and a small gluten free and it came to $ 60. When they brought it out it was barely warm. If you are in town I would personally go to atascadero two towns over to fattes. I am definitely not coming back.

We ate there the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. The pizza was good but the wings were horrible. They were still raw & tough. The service was good. The prices are too high for the quality of food. The restaurant & bathrooms were clean. I would give it a 3 ½ stars.

Sadly disappointed. I had heard many good things about this place in the past. I finally ate here and wondered what planet were these people from that had given it such rave reviews. I came in with my fiancée and my eight-year-old son. We ordered a spinach salad to split(best thing I had there), spaghetti with meat sauce, large cheese pizza, chicken wings, and cheesy bread. First off, I didn’t know that you could do cheesy bread wrong… The spaghetti seriously lacked sauce and was sitting in a bowl full of water, the cheese pizza tasted as great as the frozen store-bought crap. The dough was NOT fresh and the pizza sauce, was seasoned with too much dried spices and really tasted like it. There is a big difference in the taste of fresh herbs vs dried, which this place is clearly unaware of. All together, the spinach salad, large cheese pizza, cheesy bread, wings, 2 sodas and a beer cost $ 77. I was shocked at the price BEFORE we got our food, now, having eaten there, I’m disgusted at the price for such poor quality. Save your money and eat at ANY other pizza place.

Bad service The staff are unfriendly and do not even acknowledge you, even when the place is empty. No wonder this place is dead whenever I go in. Also there is this loud thumping noise coming from the ceiling… wtf? Pizza is decent but overpriced, they only serve single slices before 2 on weekdays. Overall just a mediocre restaurant Id rather avoid from now on.

All around great food and great service. I would recommend the following: meat lovers pizza, spicy buffalo wings, chicken Parmesan sandwich. Service was quick and that’s that I came with a party of 16. Service was friendly and efficient.

This place is a joke of a business! Most EXPENSIVE bad pizza Paso has to offer. Fit with an owner Terry who lies about how many«complaints» you’ve made to get a discount on a new pizza, when the previous one was horrible(cost $ 40). Told her employee to hang up on me when I called to complain. Her manager looked in the system to find that I had rarely complained and when I did it was justified. Going forward I will never order another pizza from them, oh wait she BANNED me anyways! Haha what a disgrace!!!

Recently had a pizza to go brought to me while in the area for work. It was a medium combination. And it was absolutely amazing! It was loaded with all kinds of delicious meats and veggies. The crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings were all the perfect balance. I really enjoyed this pizza, and would go back again when I am in town!

Yummy pizza, but pricey. Went there this evening and ordered an XL basic Hawaiian, a large BBQ Chx, 2 salads(large Caesar and a spinach-which I was told was only 1 size) and my total was $ 96. Ohh and a pitcher of lemonade! Service was fine and everything tasted great– but seemed like a high price to pay for a seat yourself, eat off of paper plates type of place right?! I think yes.

This has been my favorite pizza place since I was in high school around 1997. I live near Seattle now, but every time I’m down to visit family in Paso I insist that one meal needs to be from Marv’s. They aren’t the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Too expensive for what they serve. $ 28 for a large two topping pizza is too much. Kids meal was just milk and reheated frozen chicken strips in a basket. Video games didn’t work well, wish they had said something when we got quarters. Food was not bad, just not on par with what they charge.

I remember coming here in 1999 when I was in High School and thinking how cool it was there was a local pizza place near the park. I hope kids today are thinking the same thing… 14 years later though I feel a bit sad to come back and sit in the empty restaurant, eat their pizza which isn’t all that great. Not enough sauce, the sauce that is there tastes only okay, and toppings that look like they could have come from any other pizza place, with the TV blaring in the background and the sad staff just standing around… I wonder… Did this place change, or did I?

The veggie pizza is just okay. Nothing really special about it. I do not like raw bell peppers. The crust was crispy around the edges but I did not care for the flat bread texture underneath. Much too expensive! Not worth the $ 30.00 for a large!

Where to start. We called ahead and asked for our pizza to be ready at 530. We arrived at 530 and what is suppose was the owner, a middle aged woman said the pizza was already out of the oven. We ordered drinks and one salad in addition to the 2 medium pizzas. $ 60 and 15 minutes. Later we finally got the pizzas. They were cold and rubbery. To top it off my husband went and asked the same woman for another orange wedge for his beer. When she gave him the end rind piece, he asked for a middle slice. She got angry and shoved the bowl in his face and said you just pick the one you want. He said sorry to make you mad. And she actually said it’s alright. Horrible service, over priced and just bad service.

Wine tasting is hard work, so at the end of the day you just want to put your feet up and enjoy someone else’s cooking. That is exactly what we did while staying at the Paso Robles Inn for a few days of wine tasting downtown. One night I walked over to Marv’s and ordered a pizza to take back to our room so we could kick back, rest and watch a movie. It was very, very good. We like our pizzas well cooked, thin but not droopy and Marv’s did it right. We will definitely go back when we are in Paso Robles again!
