A simple Tiki Bar themed bar in Patchogue. It’s a nice spot to get a quick drink with friends or to enjoy one of their«theme nights» I had gone to their Burger night with my boyfriend and friends. the food was decent, but they did forget one or two things. Once we noticed this the waitress took care of it instantly and apologized for the inconvenience. The waitress was friendly and definitely had no problem talking and joking with our table. We had a great time. I hear it can get busy during the weekends but for a Tuesday night it was pretty enjoyable. The things stopping this place from being a 4 or 5 star place is only a few things. The music can be very loud and talking with your friends may be difficult and your may be missing an item on your burger. All in all everyone who went had a great time and we had gone back at other date for a quick drink and had another enjoyable experience.

I can’t stand this place and don’t see the appeal others do. The food is absolutely horrendous and a lot of the staff is rude. My family was asked to leave after paying for our food because they needed our table. However we were still ordering drinks and waiting for the band to come on. It wasn’t like we were just being lazy. Not to mention they weren’t remotely busy. There are significantly better options in Patchogue to hangout at.

Went here several weeks ago. They had a band on Friday evening. Mixed crowd from 21 – 60 Band was great and food was bar food but I enjoyed it.

Dublin Deck has this Tiki Bar type feel to it. I’d say one of Patchogues hot spot for the summer time bar scene. I actually went today for someones 21st birthday party(surprisingly at 7pm). This was the first time I actually ate dinner here. I had no idea the Deck sold/cooked food to be honest. Every time I’ve been, its on a weekend and usually after that 9/10pm time. The food was really good. The service on the other hand… The waitress actually came off a bit snobby to be honest. One of the party members asked if «they were having the half off app special» and the waitress gave her this«are you serious» look, Granted it is Labor day. but I thought it was a legitimate question… being it is a holiday and they are open, why not have a special? Besides that point. The place has 2 beach volleyball courts inside which is really cool. They tend to have a good amount of seating, Plenty room for dancing. There is 2 bars upper deck and lower which usually is staffed by 2 or more bartenders at each bar. Over all, the place is cool. I’ll go back next summer maybe once or twice.

Went there on a Saturday night. The band poparatizzi was so good, so much fun. Got there at 9pm from 9 – 11 it was fun. After that it was like a bar full of trashy girls wearing boots in mid-August and juice heads wearing ‘smedium’ t-shirts. I live in a beach community so I was a little disappointed about the misrepresentation of a «beachy water view bar» you can’t even see the docks! Dance floor was fun DJ music was OK. Security was a little too aggressive. I saw them put their hands on people one too many times. End of the night(1am) there was a lot of drunk girls crying and fights. If I decide to go back it’ll deff be for dinner/cocktails/the live band and out before the chaotic messy people. Oh also! Its a bar rule —- boys are not allowed to wear chains! My boyfriend was told by a bouncer that he had to take his off and then they were walking around telling guys to tuck in their necklaces(weird)

This place is a complete joke in the club/bar scene. People are attracted to the fact that they say it’s on the water and even though water does sit behind the building, you don’t get much of a nice sight from it because of how it’s set up. This business also try’s to reel people in with themed nights. They offer reggae night, ladies night, hoedown night, etc. I’ve been there almost every night of the week and for the most part they are usually dead with the exception of Thursday’s. I cannot even begin to explain to anyone though how unorganized and terrible the place can get on a Thursday night. The last two times I went for ladies night was a disaster and I should have learned from the first time around! First off it was a $ 10 cover for both guys & girls. That would normally shoo me away right there but all my friends wanted to go. Ladies get a free cup to be filled with bud light. The catch? There’s only one small bar that was filling the free cups for us and it turned into a stampede. They eventually ran out of beer on tap so the bar backs came with cans. Instead of just pouring the cans individually into our cups the bartender decided to waste more of our time and pour cans into a pitcher making it ¾ of foam and THEN pouring it to us. What she was doing just made no sense at all. After I finally got my beer I was walking up the stairs but some drunk kid in front of me was blocking my way and at that moment a very large bouncer roughly grabbed my arm and practically flung me up the stairs and he screamed in my ear«GOTTACLEARTHESTAIRS.» Excuse me but why was I grabbed and then thrown off the stairs while the drunk kid is about to vomit on them? It’s safe to say that I will be blacklisting Dublin Deck from my bar list.

Ladies night last night. $ 10 admission. Free bud light for the ladies. Different groups of people. The live band was decent. Enjoyed myself with my girlfriend.

Cool place… been there a few times this summer. I love the atmosphere, drinks are good, and the food(ate once) was good. Great live bands played… saw a band called Pump and they were amazing. Will definitely go back there to see this band. They have country music on wednesdays. Great summer spot!

This review is for the bridal shower I recently went to here. It’s been quite sometime since I’ve been to Dublin Deck(easily at least 6 years ago). This place used to be one of our summer time favorites when we were younger. Now it’s just kinda meh and I think this is a younger crowd and we just wouldn’t fit in as most of us are in our 30s! Eeek! That includes me. Anywho back to the review. The bridal shower company was nice but the food/drink/service was just the pits. I got here and needed a chair so I kindly asked one of the waitresses for a seat. First she offered me to sit in a bar stool until I quickly denied her as I was wearing a dress telling her I’m not comfortable. Sorry I’m not comfortable in a backless bar stool in a dress I rather be seated next to people I know rather than a Lone Ranger at a high table. Second… as soon as I deny her she cops this attitude with me telling me that«it’s set for 80 people okay. Because 80 people are coming right?» Uh how about I have no idea I am not part of the bridal party and you need to quit your little assuming crap attitude. Sorry I have a problem when waitstaff has attitudes. It tends to leave a sour taste in my mouth. Finally after a few minutes of waiting here comes my folding chair. Next we can have a warm mimosa if we’d like. Yuuuum. No ice or no waitstaff to flag down. I proceed to the bar with two others. We are charged 32 bucks for our drinks because we didn’t want mimosas. Man I remember we used to get twofers on cans of beer and it being dirt cheap. Yep. Girls night used to consist of us going to Dublin Deck during the summer getting beers. I still like beer but I prefer wine these days or my chambord or my vodka. Hahah. Memories! Next the food just ick. Maybe it was just me but the brunch was for the public as well as the shower and it just was unfulfilling. Therefore I barely ate and came home famished. About ¾ of the way of my time at the shower(yeah I didn’t stay but stayed to watch her open presents and do the cake bit. Afterwards I was out!) they finally started bringing waters. They should’ve done this from the get-go. I get that it’s hot and they have other patrons but c’mon! I’ve been to many bridal showers and most have been on their A+ game with making sure people were eating and their glasses were filled with whatever bevvie. Sorry Dublin Deck but this just ain’t my scene.

I ordered two shots from the upper bar for $ 12. The bartender puts the shots on the table and I hand her a fifty dollar bill. I turned to get my friend. When I turned back to get my change there was nothing on the table and the bartender was helping someone else. When i asked for my change, the bartendr calls for security to pulI me out saying i was giving her an attitude. Now, I did not get to take the shots of which was left on the table because I was waiting for change, i also didnt my get my fifty back. Notice they do not give receipts for the drink purchases and they do not ask you if you want a receipt. I am not the only one this happened to. The bartenders are taking advantage of the fact that there is a lot of drunk people. So if you are coming out on a thursday, friday or saturday night out watch your money and the purchases you make they will take advantage of you and the owners know it.

Been here once for a late lunch and it was pretty good. I had a wrap with fries and a couple drinks. Only disappointment was the large amount of ice in the drink and the fact that I was paying $ 10 for it(alcoholic drink). I mainly come to this place for the nightlife. I go on the nights when its either ladies night or a dance kind of night because I love to dance. There usually is a mixed crowd of younger and older people so the DJ will go from a top dance hit that’s «in» now to a throwback from the 90’s. The drinks are always good and unlike my dinner experience you get what you pay for.

I’ve been here for hump day hoe down, had a good time and enjoyed decent bar food. This however, is a review for Sunday brunch, are you sitting down? Brunch for 2 was $ 77 with tax and the gratuity they added. So here’s the thing. Brunch includes free flowing mimosas, but we(hubby and I) had things to accomplish the rest of the day and asked for OJ and coffee. To our astonishment, there was an extra charge for these nonalcoholic beverages. Had we known perhaps we could have ordered mimosas and asked them to hold the cheap champagne. The food– some was very good and some was truly awful. Eggs Benedict was really good with perfectly poached eggs, the fried chicken was very good and was moist, and there was a very nice salad bar that was not loaded with filler food, but you could make a good green salad. The omelet station was a plus. And also on the plus side, is atmosphere with live entertainment and attentive wait staff. Oh, and that coffee that was extra was good too. Now let me tell you about what was awful aside from the price. There was a hot vegetable medley, or in this case malady. It looked weird enough for me to ask the server to identify it. It had the usual veggies like carrots, zucchini and summer squash, but they added 3 bean salad(I finally identified it when I ate a single kidney bean) and cabbage floss like there was sauerkraut added black pepper and who knows what else. The other disaster was a steam tray with apparently defrosted, but not dry heated Belgian waffles. Terrible texture, not enjoyable even with fresh fruit toppings that were available.

It’s great if your just going to hang out and drink but please don’t eat here the food might look ok but it’s terrible. Our friend had burnt grouper, another had a sandwich that prob sat out for an hr b4 we got it, my chicken was dry and I’m pretty sure the clam strips were not real clam, A little scary. And the food took 2 hrs to get to our table Will never eat here again

We visited this bar during a busy weekend in the summer late at night. We were not allowed in because it was too late, which seemed fair, but heard a bouncer curse loudly at a woman and then threaten to hit her. She was just in line talking to the staff. The apparent manager laughed out loud as she walked away. Do not visit this bar. Ever.
