I am a little biased because it is the only Authentic Iraqi restaurant around. However the food is great. And I am sure the food is South Iraqi, as there is a huge Indian influence.
Southern Iraqi food is basically Indian and Lebanese fusion. They have Iraqi biryani, tikka, kababs, etc. I will recommend getting the mixed meat.

Having visited Paterons, NJ many times to taste the middle eastern authentic cuisines, I had Palestinian, Turkish, Syrian, Lebanese so many times, it is good that an Iraqi cuisine finally joined the town to break the routine, and add more to the variation. My Iraqi friend and I visited this spot and we were very pleased by our experience. The menu is similar to what is served back in Iraq, Baghdady has carried the taste from back home and added an exceptional service and friendly staff. Will visit again.
