Mr USA 1 Hour Cleaner

I’m updating this to a five start for a few reasons…
1. Just brought a dress there that I had ZERO hope for. It was dirty and I had no idea what was even on it so I thought for sure there was nothing that could be done.
2. It was DONE in 24 hours.
3. It looks BRAND NEW.
4. The guys shared in my excitement that it was super clean!
Parking still sucks but I’m giving a 5 anyways!

I’ve been using Mr. USA for years. They are thorough and fast. Occasionally I have had to sign a waiver if I drop off a leather top or delicate silk tie or tablecloth but I’ve never had a problem with anything being damaged there. The staff are always friendly. Take note that they are cash only and you need to pick up dry cleaning with your receipt or you will be charged an additional fee.

Surprisingly clean inside & friendly staff. Needed to get my husband’s suit, 2 shirts & a tie dry cleaned in a hurry. I dropped it off at 10am and it was all done by 1pm. Only cost $ 15 too! Great deal. Cash only, but it’s cheap enough that you probably have the change in your pocket!

There are so many other dry cleaners I could go to that are closer but I always go here. Outstanding service, honest, cheap, and quick. I’ll often leave money in my coat and they give it back every time.

False advertising: They are incapable of cleaning anything within one hour.

Have a fly out tomorrow for a funeral. Can’t believe they got my dry cleaning done in just a few hours. And they are super super friendly. Other reviewers must be wackos. PS. I live on Aquidneck island and came up to Pawtucket just to get clothes cleaned in time. Highly recommend.

This dry cleaner has great turn-​around and same day service. Cleaning is done on site.
We have used this cleaner for the fast turnaround but will not do business with them again. They do not have great attention to detail and damaged my specialty care items.
Regular cleaning is ok, but do not trust your high end items to this business.

Like: cheap price, fast turn around and quality of work
Dislike: location especially lack of parking space and difficulty accessing the building due to construction that seems to never end. Also dislike that they don’t take credit card, very inconvenient for customers. My biggest dislike about this place is the attitude of employees. They NEVER say good morning or thank you or how are you nothing. They never smile either. Just a horrible attitude towards customers.

HORRIBLE cleaning, pressing, customer service etc. I bought in a new sweater to be cleaned and discovered not one but two holes in it from their cleaning process. I asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning fee and cost of the sweater with no success. This place has no regard for customer service, and quite frankly they don’t give a damn. I was told I could have run over MY sweater with a car and tried to blame them, that’s logical. Needless to say I will never be using their service again.
All Unilocalers make sure you check you clothing before you leave this place!

I’ve been here a few times and they seem to get things clean in a reasonable mount of time. The prices are a little expensive– I recently dropped off 3 cotton dress shirts and it was $ 11.25 for all of them. There are a few things I dislike about this cleaners: 1) they only take CASH– this is a little inconvenient in this day and age– 2) and this is not their fault– it is soooo hard to get to them because of the construction going on all around the location– 3) they do not starch clothing– am I old fashion or what? I’m from the south and we starch everything there– when I asked for my shirts to be starched the lady at the counter loked at me like I was crazy before telling me they do not do that there– 4) there is not a lot of parking– i think there is some parking around back but since there is also a strip club back there– it might be for that…

Seriously, I LOVE this place! They always do a fantastic job with my clothes and the prices are fantastic. On top of that, the employees are so sweet and friendly. Turnaround is very fast and they do their best to accommodate any special requests. I trust them with even my most prized (garment) possessions!
Heads up though, parking can be tough since their «lot» is shaped kinda funny. I always park on East Ave and run in to avoid getting blocked by someone else.

As long as I live here (in the area) this will be the cleaners that i use if I need something done fast and done right! I had an interview to go to and I needed a suit cleaned for me by the next day. Everybody I called wanted a ton of money or had all sorts of extra stipulations on whether it would be cleaned properly. I brought it in to these guys and with «not a blink» they told me that it would be done in about an hour and when I came back a short time later, the suit was done and it was clean! I’ve used them numerous times since then and had absolutely no problems with any of my things or my wife’s. I guess the only thing that keeps me from a five star rating is the malaise that the people in the cleaners have — I guess I might be the same if I worked in the heat all day like that too. Definitely use these guys if you have the opportunity!
