I went in on Friday afternoon to get a quote for numerous preventative maintenance items I wanted done and spoke to Jeff. He was very courteous. I made an appointment for Saturday morning at 7am. When I arrived, 5 other customers were ahead of me to drop off their cars as well. I was in-​processed and out the door by 7:15. They changed out the O2 sensors, an engine brace mount, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the fuel system, and installed 4 new tires for me. Before noon Jeff called to let me know that my car was ready. Very good overall experience. I recommend making an appointment.

The time frame (very long and delayed) was expected as I read the reviews first. I had to call to find out my appointment was delayed rather than contacted by them first. But they were very polite and friendly. The shop is clean and the pricing is reasonable — they’ll search for discounts to save you some money and be up front about what you are paying for.
That being said, Aaron was awesome. I was a picky customer and he helped me in the days leading up to it with research and he was very polite. He even saved me money by letting me know I didn’t need all the work I thought I did. I may it may not have used firestone again after, but after Aaron’s help I definitely will! It’s hard being a female getting car work done and he never condescended me or made me feel like my opinion didn’t matter.

UPDATE: I called the store manager, and it turns our he was the one I was dealing with on the 3^rd visit. He proceeded to argue me down about how he handled the situation properly in his opinion. HA! What a joke. I will be calling the regional manager on this issue.
Okay. I had to write a review on this place because despite the convenience of being near my home, I will not be returning.
I have come to location 3 times. The first time I came I needed a tire repaired and they were able to get me in and repair the flat. No problem. I asked if they could rotate the tires while they already had the car up there. They said, no, they didn’t have enough time. Okay, fine. Once they were done, I had to come back because the pressure on another tire was off. I mean, how long would it have taken you to check the pressure on the other 3 tires?
2^nd visit. I came in at 4pm because I needed an oil change on my husband’s car. They told me that they could not get me in because there were 10 other cars in front of me and they needed to knock those out before closing at 7pm. Really? 12 cars??? Okay, fine.
3^rd visit. I made an appointment for the EARLIEST time slot. I just knew that they could get the oil change and tire rotation done on my husband’s car this time because I had done everything right, right.?WRONG! I came in for my 7am appt on time. Guy said he could not find it in the system, I showed him a copy of the verification email and he said no problem we can get you BUT the technician would not be here until 8am because he got his car stolen last night??? REALLY!!! The guy who was helping me said thats not anything that he can do about that, which made him sound more like a defensive friend of the poor technician than an apologetic professional like he should have been.
I proceeded to walk out of the door, knowing this was the last time I would come across their threshold with a chuckle about my luck, and the technician/​representative who was clearly offended stated to me that he was «glad I thought this was funny» and in response to his snide comment, I stated «yea, I do think its funny that ONE guy stops this whole operation.» STAY AWAY.

The Pearland branch by Pearland Parkway is a much better firestone branch, but only by a hair. The guy initially told me that I needed all four tires replaced at a cost of $ 600+, at that moment. I declined and from then on it was a 1.5 hour wait for an oil change when there were only 4 cars in the bays. Not to mention the evil looks from the «staff», I’m guessing because I wouldn’t buy their overpriced tires. Blah blah blah blah.

What can I say, this place is just mediocre. The only thing good about this place is that the techs are courteous.
I went to have my battery replaced and it took them over an hour to get this done. I got so frustrated that I got up to ask the guy at the register how much longer it would be. Apparently my car had been done but nobody came out to say that it was complete. I don’t care where you go to have it done, it should never take over an hour to have a battery replaced.
I am convinced, that if it took so long to do a simple battery replacement, it would probably take even longer to have a major service done here. Warning to all in the pearland area, find somewhere else to go and have your auto work done.

Not too bad. The experience was confusing however they removed any extra charges that occurred because of slight miscommunications. Be sure to specify exactly what situation your vehicle is in and this Firestone is an adequate choice for service.

I recently took my car to this location for 4 tires, front end alignment and an oil change. They called me when my car was ready. When we got there they told me in order to change my oil we needed to spend an additional 300.00 for a new oil pan and so son. Well, of course my husband told them to forget the oil change. He took my car to another more reputable shop and they told my husband that there was nothing wrong with the drain plug in my car and took it right off and changed the oil. I put a complaint into the shop and they said they would speak to Kevin who told them this about my car. I will not go back here due to the fact that this is the second time they tried to get me to do unnecessary work on my car. THIS SITE WILL NOT LET YOU GIVE THEM NO STARS BUT I GIVE THEM NO STARS AND ALL THUMBS DOWN. KEEP TRAVELING TO ANOTHER SHOP AND GET HONEST WORK DONE ON YOUR CAR.

I took my car in for its state inspection last week. I didn’t have an appointment, and they took me in right away.
The inspection went fine, but they were pretty busy, so it took a while. Luckily I had my smartphone to keep me busy. I came just in time because after me, tons of people started coming in wanting all kinds of services done on their cars. Some people even left because of the sudden backup and wait time.
A couple of things I didn’t like were: 1) When registering me (I had never been there before), I had to say my address and phone number out loud, which was within earshot of all the other customers. 2) The waiting room was pretty dirty. I felt like a million asses had sat on the chair before I did.
Other than those things, I was satisfied with the inspection. They did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need, and didn’t overcharge me or try to upsell me on anything. It was nice to come back to my vehicle and find that they had put a clear plastic cover (think disposable shower cap) on my steering wheel.
I would use them again.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I dropped my car off for an inspection and was told it would be an hour and fifteen minutes MAX! Went to lunch and went back to pick up my car… it was still in the same spot and hasn’t been touched. Another lady in the waiting area had been waiting 2 hours for her inspection and told her it would be 30 more minutes. The company blamed it on the «state».
Horribly maintained business and you should not give them your business!

I liked this place the first couple times I went there but the last few times I have not been impressed with the service.
They are always very busy and wait times can be hours or even days. There seems to be some miscommunication between the mechanics and the inside associates. I’ve had three different stories from three different people about the same service.
The service prices are okay but there is a huge markup on parts. A $ 30 part from autozone will cost you $ 120 at Firestone even though they bought it at Autozone. I asked about this and they said it is in their computer system and they have no way to change it. I’m thinking it is B.S.
The reservations for service is a load also. It is always first come first serve. I had a reservation to get work done on a Friday at noon. Showed up at 11 and got my car back on Sunday. They didn’t even start looking at it until Saturday.
If you go here be prepared for long wait times, overpriced parts, and poor communication. Then again this seems to be the case at most auto shops.
