My son thinks my hole in the wall haircut spot if a little too dicey for him, so he prefers the chains around town. I like Great Clips because we can make the appointment online or with an app and they are pretty good about sticking to the correct times. Now the haircuts on the other hand are hit and miss. It really depends on the stylist. We had a vision of what he wanted for his haircut and really got something totally different. I am pretty sure he needs to stick to one stylist and make sure he or she is working that day. I will stick to my hole in the wall in the meantime!

This place is awesome. I got a 5.99 haircut today and my stylist was very professional and personable. I thoroughly enjoyed my haircut and my overall experience. I finally found a place AND stylist that I can actually look forward to visiting. The regular price is $ 13, but they gave me a $ 3 coupon on my way out for my next visit.

I’ve been bringing my family here for about a year and we’ve been satisfied with most of our cuts. If you get a cut you like, remember the stylist’s name since the staff really varies. Some do better men’s cuts than others and like any salon, it really helps to know what you want before you come in. Really reasonable rates, like $ 12 for adults plus $ 5 for a wash and unless you want a Toni & Guy Signature style, the stylists can do reasonable trendy cuts. Sign up for email/text coupons and get huge discounts like $ 5.99 cuts. It’s very clean, the staff is friendly and doesn’t rush you if you aren’t satisfied with the length/texture. I no longer take my teen girls to T&G(I can mix and apply dye as well as most of what I’ve paid for there) or Visible Changes since Great Clips is closer and helluva lot cheaper and frankly, you don’t always get what you pay for! My girls have gone from medium/longish to Ellen Degeneres short using Great Clips and are always satisfied with their styles. We have medium to thick wavy or curly or straight hair between all of us and bring several photos to show what we want done. The staff doesn’t push product on you, and sells the typical salon brands that frankly I can buy cheaper at HEB or Sally. All in all, a good deal for frequent simple cuts. Deduction on stars for never having new, trendy hair magazines.
