Our expectations were high due to the reviews. However, we placed an order for machacado minus onions and instead received machacado with only onions. The food was okay but not the authentic flavors we were looking for.

This place is great! La comida como lo hacía mi abuela. The red salsa is amazing & it’s super cheap! You won’t regret coming here for breakfast or lunch.

This Mexican restaurant is so authentic Donald Trump would build a wall around it. This place is amazing and really really good! My husband is Mexican and says that this place is very authentic! It’s kind of simple on the interior, but the food makes up for the lack of ambiance at the restaurant. The prices are really really good, the food is amazing and I believe it’s run by a family. It’s not a corporate chain and I like that. There’s pictures on the menu but don’t let that throw you off. My daughter ordered the pork tostadas and I had the beef fajitas and for both of us it was under $ 20! I came back a couple of days later and had the breakfast burrito for around $ 3.50 and I have to say I was really impressed. My husband actually didn’t want me to write about this restaurant because he wants it to be our secret but that is the point of these and Unilocaling. This will be a new place for our family to go to and I suggest you take yours as well

We tried Jalisco Grill for the first time on 4÷13÷16, actually we did the drive thru. We ordered tacos pastor(pork) on flour tortillas as well as fajita tostadas. The tacos were $ 1.75 each and the tostadas were $ 2.75 each. The young lady who attended to us was very nice, she explained what ingredients each order had, the food was prepared fresh to order. Wait time was about 6 min. The food was outstanding, they don’t skimp on the meat, it was delicious and for the price… you can’t beat it. The sauces are a little spicy hot but overall they tasted great. Surely we’ll be back again, just love that there is a drive thru.

Love the food. Best part is that everything that they served is fresh. Service is great and very friendly. Great prices for the amount and quality of food you get.

This place was empty on a Saturday night, so we were nervous about going in. We loved the menus because there were pictures of every dish. All the food was good. Service was great. I loved the posole. And yes that green sauce is spicy.

First time here; and I used the drive-thru. Had the Tuesday special — castillos de res. Everything was definitely tasty. but do watch out for their salsa verde(green sauce), it is super hot. I will be back.

Friendly staff, serving up breakfast in Pearland. The Orange Juice was surprising delicious, fresh squeezed served in a large glass at $ 3.00 a glass(no refills) other traditional drinks looked delicious too, rice water, lemonade and hibiscus tea(yum). The salsa was made in house(chips I’m not sure) they were a bit stale. The kids had pancakes(fluffy) eggs, bacon(thin sliced curls up when prepared), the kids enjoyed it. My dish was ranchero sauce over chips and topped with sunny side eggs and cheese, was rich in flavor, the dish also include potatoes(it was under cooked) the refried beans(ok) it was just beans. All in all breakfast for 4 cost $ 39(including tax and tip). If your looking for an authentic Mexican Meal in Pearland, Check them out,(just bring your own syrup, unless you like budget friendly brands).

Popped in for breakfast, and to be honest I was looking for something specific. Let me say the migas they make here are excellent, and the fact that tortillas are fresh and hot didn’t hurt my feelings either! As well as my awesome breakfast I got a to go order for the sleepy heads back home. Pancakes for the daughter and bacon egg and cheese tacos for the rest. I didn’t try the tacos, but was told they were good. I did try the pancakes, and they are good! Will have to try them for dinner, but breakfast is a winner!

Yummy pancakes; delicious machacado a la mexicana; chips could be better, but overall everyone was very happy with their meal!

I wanted to try out something new and support a business in my neighborhood. For less than $ 10, I ordered: pancake; omelette; bacon; breakfast potatoes; beans; and tortillas. I also had an iced tea to wash it town. Everything I ordered was good, but the beans tasted like they were cheap and canned. The ladies were sweet and the iced tea was strong like I like it. I’m sure I will be a regular patron and I look forward to trying them out for lunch. I’m sure I will take advantage of the drive thru for dinner after work. I didn’t even notice there was a drive thru from inside the building.

It’s very good if you order the right thing. It’s not really Tex-Mex. It’s straight up Mexican so don’t order queso unless you like that canned Rico garbage. I love the mini taquitos with beef fajita. It’s 5 little tacos on corn tortillas with onion, cilantro, and avocado. Squirt some lime juice on em and you’re set. The charro beans that came with them were very flavorful with bacon and garlic. Their beef fajita is a little different than most other places. My man in-the-know says it’s skirt steak which is what fajitas are supposed to be, but most the places around here have switched to using sirloin or some other cut that caters more to American taste buds. It was delicious. The quesadillas are also good. The only thing not great last time was the rice. The service is good and the prices are pretty cheap. I didn’t love their breakfast, but mostly because I’m just disappointed when ever a Mexican place doesn’t have a big burrito full of everything on their breakfast menu. This place is akin to Taqueria Arandas so if you like them and you like the Jalisco style of Mexican, you will like this place.

Food: 4 Service: 4 Cleanliness: 3 Menu: 4 Décor: –2 Not sure if all that adds up to a 4 but we were pleasantly surprised by this place and intend to return. They have a lot on the menu –much like any taqueria. We liked all of our food, especially the guacamole. We had the mini taqueria(beef, pastor), the ground beef tacos, and chicken flautas. The thinner salsa was really good and fresh, but the thicker dark red salsa was too hot for us. We look forward to returning to try the Pozole and the chocoflan. Give this place a try. Oh and it’s super cheap.

Can I tell you I really like this place. I first I was skeptical since this will probably the 3rd or 4th restaurant in this location. Let me tell you I’m a big fan of barbacoa. My kids love it and crave for it all the time. Couldn’t find a place in Pearland that had the tender meat and great flour tortilla. Well I thought I give it a try since it’s near my work. To my surprise it was pretty awesome. :) Introduced it to my kids and all gave it thumbs up. I tried their breakfast taco also and it’s pretty good also. All in all I give it 5 stars because of great tacos. I haven’t tried anything else yet but I see their chips and salsa are freshly made. Good luck to the business. The ladies working there are very nice.

Just ordered caldo de res and it came with corn, potato, rice, squash and fresh hot tortillas. My soup was small and tasted good. I also tried his soup which was menudo and it was very good. He was not able to finish his large soup. The lemonade was not too sweet.

Slow service, bland food. It tasted like something I’d make in my dorm room in college on a hot plate. It’s brand new. They’ve got a long way to go to get good. I had the #21 cheese enchiladas. Completely flavorless. Also the nachos were dry.
