Sleep Inn & Suites Pearland – Houston South

This hotel is good in a lot of ways … comfortable, good food, quiet, etc. Unlike other reviewers, I did not have a walk-​in shower with two shower heads which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. However, it would have easily been four stars except that the the housekeeping was really hit or miss. The room was clean coming in. The first day, the room was serviced very poorly — beds made up sloppily, trash not emptied, coffee not cleaned up or replaced, no clean water cups, and not vacuumed even though it clearly needed it. We mentioned it at the desk when we had to go get the things we needed and then again when we went out the next morning. Day 2 was fine. Day three they knocked at 12 pm … we had gotten up late and were still in the shower so asked them to come back in an hour when we were gone. No one ever came back at all and we were gone until midnight and got to return to dirty towels in the bathroom and bedding on the floor. We got clean towels at the desk. If it was my hotel, I would have done a little better than hand the person a comment card the second time they had to complain about poor housekeeping in a four-​day trip.

I was surprisingly impressed that a Sleep Inn would be this modern and elegant. The walk in shower had two heads! :) loved the fresh Texas waffles @ breakfast!

Very clean and quiet. Front desk staff are very friendly. Good free breakfast includes both hot and cold foods. Choice of 4 juices. Big-​screen wall-​mounted TV with DISH. VERY large bathroom with walk-​in shower. Will happily return.

This place has bed bugs. Could not sleep. Do not stay here.
