Texas Roadhouse

I’ve been away from Texas for awhile and everyone in back in state, I look for chicken and steak. The steaks here were delicious and cooked perfectly. And having been in the northeast for the last few years, I’ve missed fried chicken. The fried chicken is perfect, soft instead of dry.

This place is a very good place to bring your family for a nice little steak dinner every once in a while.
When you walk in you are greeted by a handful of very cute hostesses that look like they are straight graduates from high school. You are seated almost right away and your waitress, which is also pretty good looking, doesn’t take too long to introduce herself and asks for your drink order.
The one thing that I do like about this location, compared to others, is that the floors are actually kept a little bit cleaner than other locations! You are MEANT to shell the complimentary peanuts on the floor… which is awesome! However, I do hate walking and having to clean the bottoms of my shoes, especially if they are a new crisp white pair of sneakers.
The service is good, and the food is good as well. The bread rolls are buttery awesome!
The only reason I rate this place at 3 stars is because I have been spoiled by bigger portions of steak from all the different steak nights in Houston. :(It’s not Texas Roadhouse’s fault at all… but you can’t beat a 16oz. ribeye at a few other places for $ 12– $ 15!
I would def. come back to Texas Roadhouse every once in a while for a family dinner, just to experience good Texas fare and good service.

Food was good, cook perfect. Better then killeens steakhouse. I give this place 5 stars. Staff was very polite and helpful. Great job roadhouse crew. I will be back.

The last couple of times going here, the steaks are not cook as consistently. Asked for rare and medium rare but the steaks came out medium. Chili came out warm and not hot. Fortunately, green beans and critters salad tasted the same. Service is spotty.

I love Texas Roadhouse, grilled chicken caesar is great and so are the rolls. Despite their usual great review from me today I’m sitting at a table across from the waitress stand where they input the orders. On the counter is two pitchers with what looks like tea. One of the waitresses comes over, picks up the pitcher on the right, drinks from it and puts it back down. Apparently this is how they tell which pitcher is sweet and which one is unsweetened
Seems pretty disgusting to me!

Love coming here customer service is great !! Their fried pickles are really good. If you’re looking for a place where you just want to hang with family and have a country vibe this is the place to be.

Walked in a proceeded to the bar where I ordered and Gin and Tonic and no appetizers I then placed an order steak and fries. One bartender who never came back to check on me and I had to wait 28 mins for my order which I declined due to the poor and slow service and went else where. I will not return ever!

They are the «fast food» version of a decent steakhouse. The hostess are horrible, seating who they want or prefer. Steaks are flavorless with no smokiness except for the burnt part. Only good thing is the peanuts. I would go here only if nothing else was open including the supermarket to cook my own steak.

Went here with my girl and it was packed. Of course, Saturday night. There were people outside the restaurant waiting. Don’t let that scare you. We went in and was seated in 20 minutes. Not bad for all the people that were there. I ordered a ribeye with shrimp and my 2 sides were mashed potatoes and green beans. She ordered ribs w/​shrimp. Load mashed potatoes and green beans as sides. Everything was awesome. My girl said the green beans tasted as if she had got them from her moms kitchen. They were delicious. What stood out and why I’m giving 5 stars is because of the excellent customer service. Our waiter was LJ. Cool young fella! He was quick, upbeat, positive, and very helpful. Keep it up dude. All around great visit. We will be back Wednesday for the special.

We come here every week for the Wednesday special. Wait staff is awesome and the food is great. Steaks are usually a bit over cooked but not by much. They crank up the music once a hour and do a dumb dance which I hate but not a huge deal

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. We had salads which were very fresh and large and shared a sirloin steak which was cooked very well. The service was a little slow and I would recommend having more waiters on a busy night. Our waitress was pleasant however she had a lot of tables and it took a while to take our order and serve the food. Management needs to schedule better.

Love the bar staff! They’re good people and make great drinks. I’ve eaten and tried most things and have never been let down. I come here to eat at the bar but have also come in large groups. Always well taken care of. The managers are awesome people and have great personality.

What a treat, met my brother and his wife for dinner, busy on a Saturday evening but our party of 5 got right in. The onion was delicious as were the ribeye and Chicken fried steaks that we shared. They had my granddaughter sit on a saddle and swing a napkin to announce her 7^th birthday, how fun! Downer was having to request the bread which we got midway through our meal. They did a great job of letting us know we were done and needed to vacate our table. Food was good, beer cold, company great.

My family and I always go to this Texas Roadhouse and we had the best experience today. Every dish tasted great. My mom ordered the fried catfish and it wasn’t so salty like usual which is great. I ordered the sirloin and my small side dish was actually full this time. My dad ordered the salmon and he also noticed how fresh it is which is surprising since roadhouse is known more for their steak. Our server Ashley and the hostess were very attentive and gave us 3 sets of those addicting bread rolls. Overall great experience and we’ll probably go back more often!

My group of 12 was being heavily neglected. We seemed to only have one server but I’m not sure. She was also tending to other tables around us. We had to flag her/​someone down for everything… bread, silverware, to take or orders. We let the manager know we were dissatisfied with service. He bent over backwards to correct the problem. Was super nice as was all the other servers and I appreciate his efforts.
The food was ok but I’m probably not the best person to comment since I’m not much for red meat.

I feel like I can’t give less than 4 stars due to those rolls alone! You sit down at your table and you have a bucket of peanuts and some warm rolls with cinnamon butter in front of you. WARM ROLLS WITH CINNAMON BUTTER. Life doesn’t get better than this folks. I feel like I could have a full meal of these rolls but alas our cute waitress would not have been happy.
Wasn’t too hungry so I got the potato skins appetizer. Also a big fan of potato skins but these were mediocre. The potato skins at other chains such as BJ’s are better. But those rolls. I will dream about those rolls tonight.

Went to have dinner last night and sat at the bar. Courtney and Chris were working and they were excellent! Service was fast and friendly and the food came out timely. I ordered the filet medallions which were cooked to perfection, rolls were hot and salad was nice and cold. I’ll def be back soon!

I am giving this place 1 star. Not for the food, but for he horrible service. This is the second time I have left this place and have gone next door where the service is much better. Tonight the host suck butt and tried to sit us at a dirty table. We attempted to stop her but she kept right on walking. She never asked anything nor looked back to see if we were ok. We were just left standing there and no one asked any questions or helped, so we left.
This was the second time we had to deal with rude hosts and no help. I am never going back and will tell everyone we know and don’t know to stay away.

There are Texas Roadhouse locations in northern California, where I’m from, so this isn’t my first rodeo – ha! ;-) Anyway, this location is my first time actually experiencing the chain in Texas. It’s pretty much your typical casual, family-​dining atmosphere.
I’ve been here a few times before joining Unilocal,and I wish I would’ve captured the awesomeness that is the sangria margarita! It’s fantastic!
As for food, I pretty much get the same thing (grilled shrimp plate) and it’s been good every single time. I like how you can substitute items, so I usually switch the rice out for a cup of chili or fresh vegetables. You also get two additional sides, so it’s more than enough food and it satisfies all of my random cravings. The service is also prompt and attentive, so I’ll keep coming back.
