If you’re a large party; think again. The staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of people in the bar area. Which; it’s a bar; make it work. Drunk people are generally happy people– so keep those drinks coming sister! Many times we had to flag the waitress down just to get water.

Definitely a guys spot to hang, watch a game and drink some beer. Centrally located in Spanish Bay Resort, this is the perfect place for a cocktail after a cold and rainy round of golf. Just beware, the prices are outrageous!

I will never go there again!!! The bartender was so rude… We complained about the service and they attempted to comp us our food! No way! And $ 24 for a shot of 14 year old Oban??? It’s never more than $ 10 a shot anywhere else! None of the other guests were treated as we were because of my appearance. Apparently they don’t like people with Tattoo’s there!

Classy, old-styled country club sports bar that is expectedly expensive. You’ll spend at least $ 30 bucks for just two drinks. But for that price, you do get great service with a great atmosphere. We had a guitarist playing the night we went(after dinner at Peppoli’s next door), which was a very nice accompaniment to our evening. We didn’t stay too long(maybe about 25 — 30 mins.), as we were anxious to walk outside to the patio bar with the fire pits(where we proceeded to spend another $ 70 bucks for about another 4 drinks). Although a short stay however, we could tell Traps was a great casual(but classy) bar and will have no problem coming back. Honestly, anywhere within the Spanish Bay Hotel, you can expect top-notch service, atmosphere — and price. All worth it though, if it’s a special occasion.

Awesome view, but snooty bartender that couldn’t make a proper drink or do a decent pour without a jigger to save her life. I don’t mind paying a surcharge for the area and the atmosphere, but to not even make the drink properly is adding insult to injury.

After a late night check-in at The Inn at Spanish Bay, we roamed around the resort and came across this bar. Photo: Impression: Very masculine! Deep, solid, rich wood from top to bottom. Simple décor. Sports on every flat screen tv. Nothing elaborate or frilly about the décor. Photo: Atmosphere: Warm, dim and has a fireplace. Has a mini cigar bar. Great place to relax and unwind after a round of golf. Drinks; We had a glass of house Cab and Bella Bellini Martini Photo: Bill(tips not included): $ 30

I love this place. Live music, open late and always a good crowd. Service is strong and the lounge like feel is comforting and a great place to relax. I enjoyed a few too many Pom Cocktails last night. It was super crowded(Saturday night) and we closed the place down. I’ve been a fan of Traps since I can remember and this classy place it never gets old.
