Good Latin café. Found this place by accident. Mostly Cuban. Great fresh juices, I had the watermelon. I also had a ham and cheese empanada with café con Lexie. Everything was delish. The coffee was excellent. I’m definitely coming back before I leave back home. I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they don’t serve their coffee in mugs.

Love the pastries. Fresh and delicious. Everytime there is a family party they want us to bring the pastries. My co workers beg me to buy the Tres Leches from there because it taste amazing.

The worst service each time I go. I was the only person in there and all of the ladies were busy chatting and when the convo was almost over I was ask what did I want. The cold croquettes were given to me even though I saw the fresh ones on the counter ?? She said they were all for some one else ?? Not true the other girl gave them to another customer that just order The food is okay Steak sandwich meat was tough and the Empanada was old Need another bakery around here

I have been coming to this café for years and years… I always comment everyone will go work out at the LA Fitness next door and come drenched with sweat to enjoy some of the treats and pastries at this traditional Cuban bakery. I used to work around the area, and a lot of times I would make the trip here for breakfast with co workers. We lived off of the pan, café con leche, tequenos and croquettas. I have also catered from here, and the large party platters are huge, cheap and very delicious(usually go for the mini pastalittos filled with cream cheese and guava). The same girls have been working here since I have been coming here and are generally friendly once they know you. Come for the pan and Cuban sandwiches and you will not be disappointed.

I definitely took Cuban food for granted when I lived in South Florida. Then I moved away and I stared having withdrawals! This spot is my go to for Cuban food every time I come to visit. The guava pastries are golden brown with just enough filling and the croquettas are the perfect size and not burnt. My favorite thing for lunch is the croquetta preparada, basically a Cuban Sandwich with croquettes in it. Try that with an orange passion shake and you will not be disappointed!

Listen… you may THINK you’ve had the best croqueta of your life but trust me you haven’t. The croquetas from Latin Café are just perfect! I swear they’re soooooo delish! Try it and please comment and let me know what you think. Also try their omelette breakfast sandwich, it’s to die for. Make sure tell them NOMAYO.

The tuna was spoiled so I had to throw it out. The banana smoothie was delicious but I had to rate this place poorly because serving spoiled tuna is unacceptable.

My turn to bring tres leches to «‘my beloved» Mark A. to satisfy his craving. I missed the turn to Vecky’s, then remembered this small place he mentioned. I couldn’t think of the name or exact location, but wanted to trust instinct to guide me on my driving hunt. Succcess!(That’s huge, considering I have the worst sense of direction.) Small bakery, but a good selection of baked goods. I was craving chocolate cake, which obvs isn’t Latin specific, but decided to go for it anyway. And who can resist getting a pastelito when they’re staring you in the face?! So, 1 tres leche + 1 chocolate/coffee cake + 1 guava&cheese pastelito = $ 5.80. Nice! Love how cheap it is. Tres leche was deeeeliciousss. I’m glad Mark was willing to share with me. The cake wasn’t as sweet as I was expecting. I tasted a hint of Kahlua, perhaps? Regardless, I will be taking my cravings here more often.

On two occasions after work, I’ve been on a hunt for tres leches to bring to my beloved Acelyn B. Both times, I have been failed by Vecky due to their apparently early closing time. My fault for not checking. Anyway. This time, my mom was in the car with me to guide me to this quaint establishment. They served us quickly &as friendly as I’ve seen at any latin bakery. We walked away with our tres leches & leche flan. I took the tres leches to Acelyn B & shared. mMmmm. VERY gooood! Couple days later, I find some of the leche flan still sitting in the fridge at my parents house. Score! I dig my spoon into caramelized delish & thoroughly enjoyed every moment. So in that sample of their desserts, I conclude that their stuff must be just as delightful as their well known competitor down the street. So when you’re in the mood for a latter-in-the-evening sin, come check this purgatory out to indulge in gluttony & bliss.

My husband and I usually love this place. We order pastries for parties and events there often and we get breakfast from there about once a week. But today when my husband came home with breakfast, I was surprised to see how terrible it was. We ordered guava pastries, Cuban toast and croquettes. The toast was disgusting. The bread was clearly under cooked and clearly missing an ingredient and the appearance was horrible. The bread was inedible. Neither of us ate our toast. I called to complain to speak with the manager and she seemed to care less and did not offer anything in return for the inconvenience. We are loyal customers and she was indifferent about the situation and admitted that the baker forgot to add an ingredient and when I asked why she would serve something that is not made correctly, she back peddled and said she didn’t say that but that it was she thought. I told her you can tell from looking at the bread that it was not correct but regardless of what I told her, she didn’t offer anything in return. I advised her I would never return there again, still nothing. We threw away the toast and finished eating our breakfast. The guava pastry was not very good either, it was undercooked as well, but it was edible. I guess Vicky Bakery down the street, even though a little farther from our home and not as conveniently located, will be receiving all our business going forward.

The food was great, but the lady who took my order was pretty rude. I will probably go back, but I can’t wholeheartedly recommend them. If you do end up going, get the steak sandwich. Really tasty and it was a good deal.
