Pretty nice place! It really had a human touch. For a place that I really expected to be a run of the mill cheap motel, I could tell that someone went through and put a lot of thought into the place. Very nice soaps and soft sheets and comforter. Flat screen television. Very clean and the manager who checked us in was very nice and chatty. However, the hotel is advertised everywhere as «Pet Friendly». We booked on my iPhone as we pulled up(we’re driving across country) and paid in advance. The manager took my card and everything and we brought all of our stuff in, then he gave us a ring and told me he didn’t have me sign our receipt. When I got back, the receipt said in bold print«NOCATS», which it didn’t say on . We already had my cat in the room. I felt terrible but I couldn’t leave, we already paid. So I snuck my cat in, essentially. I feel like«Dog Friendly» would be a better way to describe this place. Oh well, we all very much enjoyed our stay! Breakfast does start a little late at 7am, we were gone by 6am so we had to eat elsewhere.

The Patels are very great people and a treat at a moderate hotel. Someone mentioned in another review about the area being seedy, its not seedy but is a bit dilapidated — the area I mean. The River Walk is just down the street and there are fun things to see and do in the area which we really enjoyed. They run a tight ship and the accommodations aren’t modern but they are tasteful and up kept. They have a great selection of television channels. Prepare to eat early because places around here did close a bit earlier than we expected.

I was just passing through town and needed a place to crash for the night. This hotel was absolutely perfect for what I needed. The service was excellent. The price was fantastic. The room was clean. And I loved that my car was literally right outside my door so hauling luggage around was a breeze and I could easily keep an eye on my vehicle. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, and I slept like a log. They offered a complimentary breakfast, but I’m on a special diet so I didn’t partake. I just grabbed some hot water for tea. If I pass through Pendleton again, I’ll definitely arrange my drive so that I end up here for the night.

Nothing wrong with it. It was clean and didn’t have any foul odors. The counter person was very nice and friendly. The price was a little more than I thought it should be. It is not a fancy hotel with all the fancy stuff so don’t think you are checking in to the Hilton here. They had good free Internet, but bring your own CAT5 cable. Bed was comfortable too. Close to down town and plenty of places to eat.

I was charged extra in a Jan. visit to have 4 adults in a room with 2 queen beds. When booking the room, I paid extra for the 2 beds but neglected to change the number of adults to 4 persons. Mr. Patel charged me an additional $ 20 for having 4 people in a room that allowed 5. Room was clean and ok in a basic way and breakfast was fine but motel seems greedy.
