We pulled in an drove to the lower level parking and I guess all I can say is scary. Drove to the upper level to see people hanging outside drinking. Won’t subject my wife to this. Guess I donated my money because we drive to the Hampton inn.

Very cute room. Loved the décor. Clean and the bed was very comfortable. They even have organic soaps in the shower. The owners were very wonderful people. They made us feel very welcome. The restaurant downstairs has fantastic Indian food. We will be back again next year!

I stay in lots of hotels for my work, and the reason I give this place 5 stars is the rooms are comfortable, towels are clean and fluffy, there is good workspace, and the WiFi has never let me down. While Howard Johnson can’t be compared to a true 5 star hotel, the value /comfort level is a bargain. Prices are more than fair for the stop on my never ending road trip.

This place is run by a family that truly cares about their guests. The beds were new, and I slept like a baby. I also liked the pillows. Very loving people. Breakfast is included too and if you enjoy ethnic food, try their Indian lunch and dinner buffet attached to the hotel.

For the price, this is a great place! My 5 stars are based off of the amazing customer service from the husband and wife owners and their new employee who was working the night shift. The room was super clean and comfortable and recently updated. 5 star place for how much you pay, highly recommend supporting this family and staying here. Keep in mind this is an old hotel, it isn’t going to be perfect. Definitely vintage but updated and new beds and furniture. The best part was my arrival and the kind owners. Can’t beat that.

Great downtown location. Rooms are ok, although traffic noise is irritating, as are the noisy fans in the tiny bathrooms. Internet has fine signal but no bandwidth — good luck getting news. Breakfast is meh.

ARrived the day before the big rodeo just traveling through. Kind of surprised we were able to get a room. The motel had just gotten new beds that day, and it took awhile to get checked in because staff were still working on that project. The hotel is maybe in the process of remodel — old, small rooms, thin walls, old bathroom fixtures. The breakfast was very limited. The restaurant referred to in another review was closed getting ready for the rodeo. The underground lot is not just poorly lit and full of junk, but there are chunks of stuff coming off the ceiling. Cost was about what other motels cost on our route, but ended up costing MUCH for with taxes and fees, not sure what that was about. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

We stayed at this newly remodeled motel after eating at their fabulous restaurant Govinda’s Garden the week before. The room was clean, nicely updated and appointed with new furniture. The owners Andrea and Surya made us feel like old friends. In a week’s time, we ate at their restaurant 3 times. The motel’s location is right in the middle of downtown and near the river.

Ugh. Hardest, squeakiest bed. Huge language barrier at the front desk. They lost/cancelled our reservation. Hair in the sink and on the floor. Cobwebs on every single lamp in the room. The freezer was so iced over we couldn’t even use it. We heard all the conversations around us. We were on the street side and every truck and car that drove by was amplified. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

We booked our room online. There was a biker festival in PENDLETON, so all of the places we would normally stay were full. The website depicted a nice, simple hotel for $ 99 per night. We showed up and the first thing we encountered was the parking. There are few ground level parking spots, so you have to park in an underground lot that is poorly lit and full of junk. They told us they have lots of cameras to monitor underground, but signs clearly state they are not responsible for loss or damage. The nice lady at the front desk said the rooms were newly renovated and everything was new. Actually, our room appears to have been renovated in 1970. The carpet is so dirty we didn’t want to take our shoes off. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but old. The shower curtain broke and fell on me. We tried fixing it multiple times, but it was old. Overall, nice people, overpriced, yucky hotel.
